I picked a bowl with falafel (other options include vegetable, chicken, and brisket). Added hummus and baba ganoush. Choose to fill a pita or bowl; options for fillings include rice with lentils, greens, your choice of meat, your choice of cold and warm toppings, and sauces. Most of the flavors are pretty mellow, although the hot green sauce is on the hot side. And the cookie.... Oh Em gee! My new favorite! Worth multiple workout sessions. What I liked best: Their inclusion of locally sourced ingredients, a few craft brew selections, wine by the bottle, and frozen margaritas add to the flavor of this spot. So fresh and colorful and amazing flavors. I had the Chicken (described as slow-roasted chicken shawarma w/aromatics & warm spices) salad bowl with greens, baba, and lintels. I did the house-pickled veggies, marinated eggplant, roasted carrots & cauliflower and the special sauce as the dressing. My favorites were the pickled cucumber and the eggplant but it was all good. I kept around the bowl trying each flavor over and over before really digging in. My partner had the brisket (harissa-rubbed beef brisket) pita sandwich with baba, lentils, rice, pickled cabbage, roasted carrots with tahini sauce. He said it was excellent. The flavors were mixed and exciting and the pita was the perfect size. We both had the Brassica Fries. The only down side of the visit is we had to wait a bit for the fries before eating. Fries were so good though. We decided to take our tahini chocolate chip cookies to go as we couldn't eat another bite. So glad we did as enjoyed them so much later. A great frozen lemonade marg for the humid days we've been having! She said they're specifically only at the Easton location too! We the went to order our salads and I got to try their chicken and falafel for the first time! I always get ALL of the veggies they have. The pickled cucumbers are my favorite. Can't say enough about my experience at this place. I can tell each team member cares about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The seemed friendly and they all seem to work well together, Like teenage mutant Ninja turtles. They looked like they had a good amount of staff to handle the traffic. many times at a place like this seems short-staffed but it seemed like they work like a well-oiled machine. Georgie was definitely the spotlight in the restaurant. Her smile was infectious, she also encouraged me to get other items on the side just in case it was something that I did like. What a great find! Healthy and delicious!! We tried it out of curiosity and they had a great chicken bowl, falafel, pita. Every ingredient was authentic. It's a bit of a medley of Indian and middle eastern food. Chipotle-style serving and take it on the go. Slightly more expensive than Chipotle but I do believe it's healthier. Staff is very friendly and will guide you on what to try. We sat down to eat and enjoyed ourselves. We have only visited the Easton location but they seem to have many. This location is beautiful! The decor is so clean and sharp. The staff are super welcoming and helpful! It was my first time visiting and they were patient and helpful in helping me decide on what I got. You know how Ratatouille had fireworks when he ate his special dish? This is how I felt when I bit into the chicken pita packed with delicious toppings! Everything is so flavorful, fresh, and just plain delicious. I even had the marinated eggplant and that was DIVINE. Tonight I went to brassica with my mom and step dad and I LOVED it! The entire experience was awesome. When we arrived it was 7pm on a Tuesday and it was kind of busy since it's a new restaurant but it was worth it as I came for a Yelp event. I didn't know this but they catered to not only I but my mom as she was considered my plus one. We both got their take on margaritas which was too bitter for my liking so I probably wouldn't get it again. They have two options when ordering your main entree, salad or pita. I chose pita with falafel and it was AMAZING. My pita was filled with hummus, a mixture of cauliflower and jalapeños as well as their special sauce. YUM! I haven't had Brassica in a while, for no real reason other than the fact there's never been a location near me. When this Easton location opened recently I was really excited to try it out. My once picky eater palate has become a little less picky since my last visit so I was able to add more items than previously. I did a sandwich with hummus, rice/lentils, fried onions, falafel, feta, cauliflower, roasted carrots, and the house sauce. I've been sitting on a free sandwich coupon from Yelp, so I decided to try to get here when I was nearby. Parking is Easton crazy, even on a weekday. The space is super cozy, lots of wood, pretty bright. Very good service. Essentially counter service, build your own like Chipotle. A pretty small menu. I got the brisket sandwich because everybody was raving about the brisket. I added some fried onions, a little bit of their house sauce, and some hummus. Again, people had said all the toppings were good but you didn't want to overwhelm the flavors. They all looked enticing. The brisket was good. Not great. I think we're spoiled with lots of good barbecue brisket in town. It was very tender, and had some mild flavor from the harissa. I don't know, I was expecting more with all the raves. But it is still good. It combined with the other ingredients on a nice soft pita to make a good sandwich, although it was a bit small, and if I was paying for it I would be disappointed. But I can't complain. Much. I also got the cauliflower soup, which was creamy and thick and tasty, and a drink. This was my first time to this brassica. My friends were new to it too. It is a bright sunny spot with modern decor. The menu is on a board by the door and then you work your way thru the line. I didn't understand at first that the toppings were included in the price of the sandwich or salad since those items had prices next to them on the menu. I had a falafel sandwich with hummus on the pita and assorted veggies they fill the pita with falafel. I also got fries. One fried had salad and one had chicken shawarma sandwich. Despite being in a very eclectic, busy, and competitive part of town, this particular spot has always hit the mark on the several occasions I have been there. On my latest visit, we stopped by after a relatively long day in the Easton area. The restaurant was very clean, and with it being single digit temperature outside, it was very cozy and welcoming. The staff here was very knowledgeable and friendly, and even though they were busy, we did not feel rushed as we contemplated all the possible menu offerings. For the uninitiated, Brassica is what you may call "Mediterranean Chipotle" - you get to decide between a salad or sandwich, and then you get to choose from a wide (but not too overwhelming) range of proteins, lentils and rice, veggies, hummus, baba ghanoush, a variety of sauces, and other optional toppings such as pita chips. Alternatively, they have a hummus plate that can be topped with a protein/vegetable and served with a warm pita bread. On this occasion, we went with a couple of salad bowls with a brisket and chicken combo, veggies, and topped with their tahini and the special house sauce. We also tried a side of fries, a minty pink lemonade, and a tahini chocolate chip cookie. The quantity of food in the bowls are huge and can easily be shared by 2 grown adults (we didn't). The tahini chocolate chip cookie was warm and fresh, and the fries and lemonade were both nice complements to the rest of the meal. One thing I have learned with Brassica is that because every item on the menu is very flavorful, less is more when it comes to creating your bowl or sandwich. Every time, I piled my order with too many ingredients, I found my meals to be less enjoyable than when I kept things simple. I love Brassica... came here for the first time ever for a YELP event and I've been hooked since. Granted we've only been able to make it back twice but it was so so good both times. I like to get a salad bowl as opposed to the pita option, which has lentils and rice underneath the lettuce. I add 1/2 baba 1/2 hummus, marinated chicken, fried onions, special sauce, cukes and radishes, sweet beets, and double eggplant with a side of fries. You can choose a scoop of baba ganoush, a scoop of hummus, or 1/2 scoop of both. The chicken is slow-roasted chicken shawarma with aromatics and warm spices, and it is SO GOOD. The fried onions add a nice texture and crunch. The social sauce is a tzatziki sauce - it's delicious. The cucumbers & radishes and sweet beets are all pickled. The eggplant is such a soft, creamy, silky texture. The fries are so crispy and good and come with a side of special sauce for dipping.
