Paso Doble - Dessert: Peruvian corn-based dessert and moelleux chocolat

We started with a special starter of octopus, salmon and ceviche that was absolutely gorgeous, topped with a sweet but spicy Peruvian sauce. For our mains my boyfriend had a wok style spaghetti with beef and I had salmon with prawns and mashed potatoes. I was a little disappointed on the mains on offer, a little overpriced and not a huge choice. We finished with a Peruvian corn-based dessert and a moelleux chocolat. Along with a carafe of red wine our bill came to just over 70 euros. If I return, I'll probably grab some tapas dishes for my main as there was a lot more choice and variety there! The restaurant is very spacious and you can turn up with or without a reservation to be greeted by very friendly staff!

The meat actually tasted like latin american meat and the dishes were not too spicy. The starters range from 7 to 10 euros, you can also find tapas assortments for 18 euros. The dishes are somewhere between 15 and 20 euros. Deserts are around 7 euros and we also had half a bottle of wine for 13 euros. Overall it was a really good experience and I would definetely recommand this place for a diner. They have a wide bench aswell as separated tables so it can work both for romantic diners and diners with friends!

I am very experienced with Columbian food as I ate plenty of it while living in Chicago for twelve years. I've also traveled to Santo Domingo where similar offerings were served (tostones or fried plantains, fried fish, and so on). Paris is truly great because there is just about every food and culture imaginable living and creating foods here. This is a great example of that delicious mix. I walked in here the first time after visiting Montmartre. My hotel is about a mile away and the walking directions steered me past here. Was I hungry? No! But, I'm greedy and curious. The patrons and workers were welcoming and didn't make me and my gringo husband feel out of place. Thankfully, I also speak enough Spanish to order correctly and get another drink of necessary. When you can accomplish such things like goes a lot better. Both times I've ordered the fried tilapia plate. It comes with rice, tostones, and coleslaw. My complaint is the coleslaw. I'm a person that doesn't like my food flavors and juices running into each other. The sweetness from the slaw touched my fish. It also got a little bit wet. Also, they brought out our apps and didn't give us any plates. We ate our empanadas with our hands and shared the plate to chop and consume the chorizo. The salsa picante is just right with the heat. The fish could use some more salt, but that was accomplished by adding lemon and then a couple of sprinkles of the high blood pressure enducer. I drank two orange Fantas and hubby had two Columbian beers. He ate the chicken, plantain, and rice . He's not a coleslaw fan and he pushed his food up the hill like I did to escape the sweet puddle. They play lovey Columbian tunes via YouTube. The video is being project on a screen as you enter the restaurant. There are precoooked foods to take home with you as well as some chips, crackers, cookies, and gum to take away if you'd like. I definitely suggest this restaurant if you'd like to try a new cultural offering or if you are a little bit tired of escargot and caviar.

While my boyfriend and I dined here, the only waitress made 9 trips outside to take food out to delivery services. If they can't focus on their restaurant, why do they choose to supply for delivery? The whole experience here was unpleasant. I absolutely love Mexican food and Mexican food alone is hard to find in Paris. Good Mexican food doesn't exist here. We ordered nachos with cheese for 9.5€ to start. They were awful and I could have made them at home. There were maybe six bites with four jalapeños, some cheese, pico de gallo, and guac. Not worth the money. For our mains we ordered the beef quesadilla and four tacos (carnitas, beef, chicken, and veggie). The tacos came with rice and beans. The food was not memorable and people would demand a refund for it in the states because it was just meat on tortillas! The whole time we had to serve ourselves because the one man kitchen and one waitress thing doesn't work if they are trying to do a million things at once. I had to search the room for a new bottle of water. I had to get up and walk to the bar for salsa. I had to wave my arms for her to take our order. Then I had to wave my arms again to get dessert. For desert we ordered the fondant and it was awful. Microwaved sad excuse for dessert. Our whole meal came out to 44€. I will never be coming back here. Or ordering food from here. Taco Bell tastes like ass and even that's better than this crap they serve here.
