Everything was delicious from start to finish. One of the best emails we had in Paris. We walked in late on a Sunday night and we were able to be seated immediately. The staff spoke Spanish, English and French. The interior was cozy and gave off a homey vibe. We're Colombian! We were in Paris at the beginning of this month and we wanted to eat Colombian food after traveling around Europe and the Middle East, we chose this restaurant that was a bit far but we are glad we went! Food was great , we had ajiaco, empanadas , bandeja Paisa and a mini picada, and we enjoyed to the max!!! Really good service. We were too full to eat dinner so we started with two empanadas of beef and chicken. We shared the bandeja paisa consisting of pork belly, fried egg, rice, red beans, plantains, avocado. A hearty meal on a cold Parisian night. Authentic Colombian food in Paris! Yes please! My bestie is Colombian so I know all the good dishes and I was pleasantly surprised that all the workers here speak Spanish (our servers were both Colombian). When you're in a foreign country and you come across something familiar, you become so excited, you go in and order food even though you just ate. Between the 4 of us, we ordered a bandeja. Last year back in September 2019 was visiting Paris I went to this apparently nice restaurant, food was ok, prices extremely high, presentation was ok, service was a nightmare, I asked for my guacamole (aguacate) to be changed because it was hard when I bite on it that enraged the waitress and then comes the owner (an overly done, huge ego, ugly plastic beauty) knife in hand and screamed in front of all customers that the aguacate was not hard and that I had already eat almost half, not only I felt threatened but embarrased and called a liar. But being Colombian, loving my culture I just had to see if my people were doing us justice in Paris. And man, did they NOT disappoint! Food here was ASTOUNDING! Reminded me so much of my Abuela's homemade cooking back in Colombia! This food is prepared with love! With heart! Passion and pride! The staff is fluent in Spanish and French. I don't know if they speak English as we spoke in Spanish with them. Definitely a place to visit! The staff is very accommodating, sweet and friendly. They close at 3pm and reopen around 6 or 7pm. Wonderful, small, cozy Colombian restaurant in Paris centre; meals were well priced, presented and most importantly, tasted great!! I do suggest getting a table reserved because it gets busy, we almost didn't get a table, we lucked out. Try one of their daily specials (vary daily) you won't be disappointed...for €15 you get an entree and a main dish, big enough to satisfy any Latin American craving. I wish I had liked my lunch at this Colombian restaurant more but frankly the spark wasn't there. The empanadas and the creamy/spicy dipping sauce that they came were fab, but after that the meal went flat. My fish in spicy coconut sauce was overcooked and dry, the beans and rice that came with it were average. I did like my plantain chips but there were only two of them on my plate. The real, inexcusable let down was my Passion Fruit Mojito, which at 9E I expected to at least get a little jolt from, but there again, just a watered-down version of something that could have been special. read more

Bad service, bad attitude, bad experience. We came here on our last day in Paris. Unfortunately, it was the worse day in a Colombian restaurant. We ordered our food and it came by sections. First, my youngest daughter food, twenty minutes later my husband was served, and after another twenty minutes my other daughter and I were served. By the time our food came, they had finished already. I was whiling to accept slow service because I wanted to enjoy the food. The main problem whoever, was that my daughter ordered a "well-done" (churrasco) steak and instead she received a raw (churrasco). We told them the problem they offered to recook the steak. My daughter had to wait while I was eating. After fifteen more minutes, her steak came, but again it was still raw. Their explanation was, they could not cook that cut of meat "well-done". That was the worse explanation we ever had in a restaurant. They offered to pay for the meal. We felt so dissatisfied that we decided to go back to our hotel. None of us enjoyed their food, and my daughter had to eat a banana back at the hotel, because it was too late to find an open restaurant. read more

While I was in Paris and as a Colombian native I was intrigued to try this place. We came in the afternoon since we didn't know they are closed but came back at night for dinner. After a long day of walking and sightseeing we were starving. We started with the patacones con todo (fried green plantains with fried pork belly, shredded beef, avocado, creole sauce) I have to say all of the toppings were delicious and the patacones were crispy and not creasy. We were a party of three and shared two bandejas Paisas which is the typical Colombian dish that has rice, beans, arepa (corn cake), fried pork belly, chorizo, fried egg and ground meat. It was plenty of food for the three of us and we left some. Of course nothing is like food in Colombia but I have to say this was pretty good to be so far away. Our waitress was super nice and accommodate us and our order with no issue. I noticed they also had some typical Colombian juices and liquors but I didn't try any since I had some wine. read more

We were stuck in traffic for an hour and finally got here to be turned away literally at 2:30. It was the most frustrating thing we have encountered. I was really disappointed by this Colombian restaurant-- all the waitresses were Colombian so I expected authentic Colombian food but unfortunately it was the worst Colombian food I've had. Even the natural juices weren't natural. The rice seemed like it was microwaved, it was dry and crunchy, the chorizo was too hard to cut and the platano which is supposed to be sweet was completely tasteless. Went here with a real Colombiana to get a taste of home while traveling. Started with a bunch of appetizers from the sampler plate to the ceviche. Sampler great! Ceviche was below average (all shrimp and too tough). Arepas very good.My dinner was the Sobrebarriga which was very tender beef....delicious! Ajiaco soup was ok, needed more broth/liquid but good overall. Empanadas excellent. Chicharron was also excellent. Service was all business. This charming Columbian restaurant was right around the corner from where we were staying. Everything we had was delicious, especially the cheese empanada. I had the grilled chicken with plaintains, rice , and salad. Everything was so fresh and the drinks were pretty good too. Try the mojito fruits rouges or the mangue au lait. Saw the reviews while in Paris and we decided to go. Friendly waitress, good music (salsa on, not too loud), and food was pretty damn good. My girlfriend didn't give her steak a thumbs up, said it was chewy, but I got the sampler plate, which was delicious. Reasonably priced for Paris, with I believe 5 Euro Coronas. I was traveling in Paris and came across this Colombian restaurant and decided to check it out. So my daughter and I traveled at 11 pm, in a taxi, to come try this restaurant. When we arrived at 11:10 pm, the restaurant was closed. Why would you have yelp list your restaurant was open until midnight if that is not the case? It's now midnight, and my daughter and I are looking for an alternate place to eat. That's not ok. read more

Excellent, excellent excellent! Authentic Colombian plates, very fresh and flavorful. Much better than most of the touristy restaurants we've been to while here in Paris. Lunch prices are better, which is to be expected. We will be returning while we are here. read more
