My family and I ordered dinner from here last night, we ordered Combo #2 and 1 of each empanada. We also substituted the Tostones with Madura's for our meal with no issue. The amount of food was plentiful and the flavor was great! I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the cost that matched. For $33 I am able to feed a family of 4 (6 year old, and a 4 year old) and still have leftovers for lunch/dinner tonight. The owners (I assume) were great when they took my order and when I went in to pick up the order. Overall, a great meal at a great price. I was very disappointed because the sauce is my favorite part of the meal. Update: ordered recently and ownership or management must've changed or they just went cheap. As much as I feel like they have potential, Being stingy gets you nowhere. I ordered 3, yes 3 orders of lomo saltado with the fries on the side because I happen to not like soggy fries and they placed 3 orders worth of fries in one of their small side containers. When I called I was told that the portions of fries were all included in the ONE container. It's French fries!! for those prices I should've had 3 containers with fries. Instead they overfill the plates with onions... I could've probably filled 3-4 containers with the amount of onions in the trays. Never ordering from them again. read more

I finally decided to try the place after driving past it on the way to work each day. I have minimal experience with Peruvian food but my last experience was interesting so I figured let me give this place a try. Wow I was blown away. First off it's on grub hub so that makes ordering it a lot more convenient. I decided to get crafty and order something other than chicken. I got the roast beef , potato and rice dish with a creamy red beef sauce and a yellow/ creamy potato sauce. Such a nice combo of flavors, combine that with their avocado salad which had a smooth vinaigrette dressing. Everything was was delivered in great condition. Tried this place a few weeks ago after my mom recommended it, and it was absolutely amazing. We called to order and picked up about 10-15 min later, everything still hot when we got home! The rice and beans were out of this world along with the beef empanadas... and of course the chicken!!! My mouth seriously waters whenever I think of this place and their delicious food! I did take out from here after a recommendation from a friend. I got the Lomo Saltado with skirt steak. The price tag was a little heavy and no complaints about the food itself, but the portion of actual meat was very small. It was mostly onions and huge chucks of tomatoes, which was disappointing when paying so much. The food was delicious though and I would bathe in the green sauce for the rest of my life. Just moved near by the zone, Brasas Peru it's a small restaurant with a few tables, clean and with a good vibe . The rotisserie checking rocks. It's almost like the chicken back from Peru. Perfect seasoning not too salty and full of flavor, not dry and the meat is moist. More or less we always get a combo, the salchipapas are great, the red beans have tons of flavor, the avocado salad is a good portion given with a normal amount of homemade sauce. They're somewhere between a 2-3 . I'm ordered from here a few times and there are a few things I hoped would have improved but haven't. Food is good, but they consistently get orders wrong or substitute without informing you... CHECK YOUR ORDER! If you order yellow rice rather than tell you they're are out, they'll just give you white. They'll give you an avocado salad without avocado, because "it's out of season" but not tell you when you order. They also don't provide extra sauce or dressing that come in those tiny containers even if you ask for it or are willing to pay. I thought it was a mistake but after asking a few times I'm beginning to think it's intentional. So to summarize food is good (not Pio Pio great) but they could improve on customer service. read more

Came here on a weeknight around 7:30 or 8 pm with my husband. We ordered the #2 combo to go. We were informed that the chicken wasn't ready but if we wanted they would deliver it to us and they'd be there in about 30 min. We went home and waited.. after an hour we called and they said they were on their way. We waited another 30 min and the food finally arrived. The rice was undercooked and the beans weren't very good. We did enjoy the rest of the combo which was tostones, chicken, salchipapas and an avocado salad. I regularly order pickup on the way home after extra long days. The Brasas Combo #2 is a regular hit in my house and I love their Chica Morada. Came in here for dinner, 4 of us; waited 45 minutes for the soup, we got 2. 10 minutes later we got the other 2, and 5 minutes later the dinner came out; it was a salt fest. This place is absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of being a customer at. The food there takes forever, not tasty, and feels as if the oil that is used is old in the food that is fried. Additionally, as I was about to place an order to give this place a second try since my first experience was pretty bad, I left the benefit of a doubt and came back. It turns out that two patrol cars were there from what I heard the employees that work there are badly mistreated and there was this young kid with his father who I overheard speaking to the cops that had supposedly done 4 hours of training and the restaurant did not want to pay him for his labor. The police officers handled the situation and the young man was paid after the police arrived at the scene. Just seeing this made my second experience at this place even worst than the first. I thought that maybe the restaurant had a bad day in food preparation on my first visit but then experiencing what I experienced today really made me realize that how employees are treated really affects the quality of the food and the service that is provided. I felt so bad for the young kid and his dad, but was happy that the issue at hand was resolved. I will not be returning to this place of business both because of the quality of the food but I am 100% against the mistreatment of employees and I believe that in fair payment of wages to employees is an important part of daily living. read more
