Ordered online Christmas Day and didn't have great expectations from the reviews but was in the mood for Peruvian food. The food was prepared perfectly and the young ladies at the front desk were polite and sweet. It was the first time I tried the fish with yellow sauce and it was awesome. I used to order from this place all of the time and I loved it. However, I just ordered from them a few days ago for the first time in a while. The quality of the food has seemed to go down. Rotisserie chicken was really dry and not too flavorful. Lomo Saltado was a big disappointment. The beef was super chewy, bland, and tough. Not the same quality as it used to be, and the prices are still pretty expensive. The yellow and green sauce were also different than before. It just seems the quality has gone down here. read more

They are very reserved with their sauce and when I questioned the manager about if i brought 8 empanadas how many sauces will I receive he stated 1 sauce for 8 empanadas mind u the size of the sauce is a package you will get from McDonald's chicken nuggets so then I asked how much will the extra sauce cost me he stated 75 cents each I was blown away especially when he said I have to make money too. This review is based on the service mainly. I was forced to spend an additional .90¢ because they couldn't run my debit card at $14.10 even after I added stuff to make the total higher. The minimum is $15, I don't care how good the food is I will not be back here. I just started working not too far from here and they lost a potential forever customer because of .90¢. nothing on the menu would've brought it up by .90¢ alone so $2 extra later I'm upset I spent a total of $7 extra because of some minimum restriction at a restaurant not a grocery store but an actual restaurant. I have my heart set on Peruvian so I'm going to spend the money today but definitely won't be back. I've read some bad reviews about the service but hoped it was not a common occurrence ... As it goes almost unnoticed down Franklin I actually hope this place gets more business because it is a nice and pleasant place to dine. The location might seem a little small but right through the door its very welcoming from the start. All of the employees i noticed were polite and very helpful. I came across this place driving by coming from the southern state pkwy. It's easy to miss though if you aren't paying attention. I live like less than 3 minutes from this place and I'm happy to say the food was delicious. As soon as we sat down they brought over 3 kinds of sauces. Green sauce (good and just the right amount of spice) orange (kind of reminded me of thousand island dressing) and dark green sauce (which was basically just crushed jalapeños I think) they also brought out a small bowl of fried corn. Wasn't much of a fan to be honest. We started off with empanadas (chicken) which was a bit different from what we are used to. It was chicken with a yellow creamy sauce. The dough was soft and the meat was moist. I would definitely get it again. My son had salchipapas which is hotdog and fries. The fries are extra thick and huge, which I'm not a fan of, but the taste made up for it. My son loved his food and he's a picky eater. We had two 1/4 chicken combos with salad. I had the tostones and mom had fried yuca. Both were delish, especially with the sauces. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Not dry at all. all in all, I would be coming back and probably bringing family and friends. I took off one start because mom wanted to take her leftover chicken with her yuca and the waitress only put the yuca in the container. Decided we wanted some chicken on a weekend night. We had 4 adults and 1 child. I checked out the reviews and still went ahead an ordered too much food, but that's ok as we had leftovers for a few days. The chicken was nice and juicy. Their sauces are on point and spicy. The ceviche, the lomo saltado, the papa rellena... They are all exquisite. I have been to many Peruvian restaurants that will serve you stuff that is not fresh, the portions are tiny, and will make any Peruvian want to cook their own meal. In here I actually ordered things that I haven't ordered in Peruvian restaurants for years. The combos are also good and very convenient too. I should've gone to Chipotles after spending $16., @ least there I could've feed 2 ppl instead of getting a kids size meal. I did an UberEats order here about 1 week ago and spent $50 on the order. The food was absolutely atrocious, and everything went in the trash!!! Just terrible food!! The "Lomo salgado de carne" was so disgusting. The beef was undercooked and tasted chewy and old! I am pregnant and had to throw it away before I got sick. My young sons love rotisserie chicken, so I purchased the whole chicken for them and as soon as I opened it, it had a foul bloody unclean smell. I served it to my son and he said it was disgusting and no one in my family would eat it...not even my husband! It smelled bad and looked undercooked as well. The flavor was horrible. I had to take a photo of the undercooked meat, and UberEats refunded me all of my money. I could not even eat the sides I also bought.... It was soggy and tasteless. Even the fried potatoes tasted gross like it was fried in old meat oil. I will NEVER spend a penny here ever again!! Please do not waste your money. How dare this place serve garbage like this to customers! Shame on you! read more

Absolutely delightful! This was a totally accidental find from door dash. After a horribly long day where my travel plans were cancelled by the airline multiple times. It was completely delicious, perfectly cooked, very fairly priced and in a generous portion. I'm only sad that I likely will not be able to return. So if you read this review, give it a whirl. When I got the food I was excited as it was my first time trying this place, however when I got home I was quickly disappointed. The menu states that the arroz chaufa de pollo only had chicken, fried rice, eggs and onions (missing bacon) which is how its made in Peru but when I opened the bag my plate had bean sprouts and red peppers which threw the taste off completely. Aside from this, the rice dish was very oily even my plate was oily after eating. My husband got salchipapas, but the french fries were soggy from the amount of oil used there was no crunch at all. Lastly, we ordered the sopa wontan especial which is a Peruvian chinese wonton soup but again it had red pepper (which this dish does not usually have) and only 2 wontans and 2 pieces of shrimp. This place was definitely a let down and I will not be ordering from here again. These dishes are basic well known dishes that any authentic Peruvian restaurant should master with the original recipes. Adding ingredients that don't belong compromises the dish and authenticity of the restaurant. read more
