This brandy Melville is on the smaller side and there is always a long line outside. The lines goes by pretty slow, so if you are on crunch time, do not go here. Parking is also hard to find as the street is quite busy. There is three small dressing rooms. Not my favorite brandy Melville, but I'll still come to visit when I am in the area. read more

If you don't know this store you should. They're basically the pre teen to teen girl Gap chain. There's a familiar Brandy Melville smell all over the store. Girls flock to it. They're all over the world and you can watch the documentary about it and fast fashion. There isn't actually a "Brandy". This store has young women working who need something to do and don't want to actually work. They ask to check your bag even if it's filled with library books. It's a super crowded store all the time. The clothing is nice and basic. Do yourself a favor and order online. read more

Brandy Melville - Store Hours - Women's Clothing Near Me - San Francisco, California

So rude. Of course we all know there is only one size but the attitude of this store goes beyond judgy and condescending. We've gone to other locations where the staff is friendly but here they are completely pleased with looking down on customers and seem to actively discourage people from purchasing anything. read more

I would give this store -5/5 if I could. We were in town all the way from Omaha, and my young daughter was so excited to go to a standalone Brandy Melville store for the first time. That quickly changed when we arrived and saw the line, which ended up taking 63 minutes. While waiting in line, we learned that A) there are no longer fitting rooms, so you just have to guess how the clothing will look on you, and B) you can only exchange items, which would mean waiting in line again. Yay! Once inside, I told my daughter it would be fine to try on a cardigan over her shirt, only to be told by an employee that she can't try on anything over her clothes. The employee said "I know it's a pain in the butt, but I have to say it." That was the most humane interaction we had. Despite restricting the number of patrons, the store was extremely crowded. Like being-on-an-NYC-subway-car-during-rush-hour crowded. I can only imagine how horrified any plus-sized or physically disabled people must feel in this location, which probably explains why we didn't see any plus-sized or visibly physically disabled people there. It broke my heart to see my daughter's excitement grow into anger and disgust during this experience, while noticing many of the young employees simply standing around on their phones and cussing as though it was a social hour. As we waited in another line to check out with a few items, I was ready to politely let the cashier named Sophia know about our frustrations, but when she asked "did you find everything OK?" and I said, "no, we didn't," all she said was the most unenthusiastically monotone "oh man I'm sorry to hear that" without asking why and continued folding our clothes. To echo some other reviews, the customer service here was not only non-existent, but it was aggressively rude and uncaring. Shame on Brandy Melville as a company to create this disgusting and discriminatory culture. This was the single most de-humanizing retail experience I and certainly my daughter have ever experienced. read more

I had been in this location of Brandy Melville several times in the past and had never had such rude and disrespectful experience with the girls working there as today. While I was waiting for my turn to pass to try on clothes the girl in charge of the fitting rooms seemed to be beyond burden by my presence , eating a burrito and talking to her friend about her plans for the night ( for real ) literally my boyfriend thought she was another customer in the store . Overall the worst experience I have ever had in a brandy Melville in the Bay Area (as I can see by other reviews not only for me) and I hope the managers or person in charge take into consideration this comments for their next hiring of the staff. read more

I went here right before closing time some time in December of this year.(I can't remember the date lol) But I was rushing there because of traffic, I felt kind of embarrassed because I walked in 10 minutes before they closed. But it was so quiet it was maybe one other customer in there, then the other workers closing up shop. The worker I talked to was so nice, I told her I was shopping for a gift and I needed to find it, I showed her a picture but unfortunately they didn't have it there. But I just said that was fine because it's not their fault, but they had a wide selection of clothing. I love Brandy Melville so much. Of course I can't speak for everyone's experiences but mine was definitely not bad. read more

Absolutely nothing special for San Francisco or California available in the store. Save yourself the long wait and order online or shop at your local store. Very disappointing traveling so far for the same items we could get at home or online. read more

Typical Brandy employees so if you like to shop at Brandy or have never, trust the reviews on the employees they're the same at every store. Clothing selection is very good though especially considering how long you have to wait to get in they keep it stocked really well. The pricing is very good too especially considering location and popularity. Worth the smile on my daughter's face but if you can shop online I recommend that more. read more

One star barely. The store representatives to be not only rude but disrespectful. While we were there, they were talking to each other ONLY and never asked if we needed help. It was almost as if we were burdening them from their social hour. They all were talking about friend groups and about the parties they plan to go to and at one point one of the girls said how much she dreads retirement. "I have 40 more years of this bullshit" she reported. To be clear, I am a 55 yer old woman and was standing right there. I work hard and I proudly role model that for my daughter. My daughter heard it too and was upset. This kind of privileged narrative is awful and does not represent Brandy Melville well (unless of course this is how you want to be represented). I never write reviews but I felt the need to write this one. Absolutely awful. Why isn't anyone managing these kids--and that is exactly what they were--lacking any maturity or awareness. read more

This Brandy Melville is a lot better than the one on Santana Row in San Jose. That one is so crowded and they take a long time to ring you up. We went on a Sunday before lunch and there were people but hardly crowded. I am way above the age range for their target audience but I love their white tank tops. I bought two of them as basics. We were in and out in about 10 minutes! Last time at my local Brandy Melville store, I was there for over 45 minutes just to wait to pay. I wish I lived a little closer to this one! read more

Clearly targeted towards high school and college women, this shop has all of the most comfortable clothes - sweatshirts, sweatpants, camisoles, tank tops, hoodies, etc. They also have jewelry and hang bags. People complain about the service, but they're known to not be super friendly. Having said that, this BM is friendlier than many others! Cost is mid-range. It's a very popular spot, so it's often crowded with a line to the register. Fathers and boyfriends wait outside. read more

I rarely write reviews but this one felt necessary. I just walked in on a Thursday at 2pm to multiple of the brandy workers just talking, including many cuss words (f word and b word) multiple times. A dad in there and I kept making eye contact and both eventually left. The girls were talking about med school, grades, and being insanely unprofessional. Not even as if Brandy needs to be professional, but none of them even looked at the customers, helped us in the dressing rooms or anything. Just yapping and cussing away like immature young girls. Crazy read more

0/5 stars, such mean girls for no reason. Ubered all the way there after work just to find out that they closed an hour early. We decided to stay around and window shop a little to come back tomorrow... then imagine our disappointment and frustration when the girls inside decide to start mocking and laughing at us. Especially the girl w the blonde FAB (bob) and really really thick black lash extensions. 8 mean girls on shift closing an hour early and laughing at people for window shopping is crazy. I know their checks aren't big enough for them to be doing all that. Literally no need for any of that and being mean to other girls for wanting to shop at a store is actually just weird. Weird people work here. Y'all need to get it together babes. You're not gonna get very far with the attitudes that y'all have. Hugs and kisses, genuinely. Life is only nice to those that are nice back. read more

My daughter loves Brandy Melville. When we went to this location the workers were the most rude people we've ever met!!! They were "side eyeing" me and my daughter. The girls give off such bad energy. The employees don't even do their jobs and they sit there gossiping about customers!!! When we went to check out the cashier was being very rude. It's super cramped in there too. read more

Energy feels weird in this store. It's a small store with a lot of employees, all very young girls who are standing around and gossiping, ignoring people around them, not being nice, welcoming or professional. They disregard people walking in or around them. I don't recommend shopping here. Clothes are designed to be one size fits all... no returns here, just store credit so heads up on that! read more

This is your typical BM. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Easy to find, lots of street parking. This is actually a nice walk from Fisherman's Wharf with lots of other cool shops, restaurants and a bookstore. My wife was able to find something for herself and my daughter who is a fan of this brand. A pleasant time is guaranteed for all! read more

We were there on a weekday. It was super busy. The store space it's full with clothes everywhere which is nice but at the same time it's not enough space to walk through it. It is very crowded with clothes everywhere and people trying to squeeze in and out. Employees seem to be overwhelmed. I believe we came in when they were getting their deliveries. The girls were working hard with the little space they have. My disappointed was we had to wait over half an hour just to get into a dressing room due that they only had two available and the rest were just full with boxes of clothes in the dressing rooms and out. It was definitely a bit chaotic for me. Until next time. Chao! read more

Terrible experience. Employees are the opposite of welcoming and helpful. I felt like I was imposing by just being the store. No one was even at the register. Very cramped and unfriendly atmosphere read more

Even on a busy, sunny Sunday afternoon this location was not crowded and it was clear why that is. Worst customer service and clientele. Yuck. This store leaves little to be desired. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Girl with the bob and eyelash extensions was being extremely rude to us. They closed an hour early, and had many people on staff still there. We asked through the window if they were still open and the girl slowly, passive aggressively shook her head no. So me and my friend started window shopping for when we come back. She proceeded to make all her coworkers laugh at us and make weird faces at us just for looking through the windows? Update your hours if you decide to close early. Being mean to other girls isn't cute! There's no need to be rude to potential customers when your hours are wrong online. read more

I placed an order online and an email was sent and said my order has been processed and will be shipped out. The same day I received an email saying my order has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. No explanation such as no longer available etc. I have not even had a response to my email (been over two weeks) reading other reviews I find their stores to discriminate against non whites. Was my order cancelled cause of my Asian last name? I am white married to an Asian. I hope the head of this business figures out their discrimination will hurt their business. And what era are they in?? Wake up!!! read more

FYI, target audience is high school aged, petite...,, weighing more than 105 lbs. Styles are similar to Uniglo as they are fairly ubiquitous and colors generic. Pricing is fair with most tops under $25 with most everything else under $50. The surprising factor is clothes are made in Italy and other parts of EU. Only 2 stars because it was sad how many non-conforming body types who came in--were either embarrassed or shocked that everything was OS/one size = xs and sm. NOTE: nothing is refundable. Exchange or store credit ONLY. read more

This store is filthy. There are huge dust bunnies under every display. I get that they're going for a laid back vibe, but it is outrageously dirty in here. Please invest in a Swiffer. read more

Got there and the place was super cramped and the workers there were honestly so rude and gave off mean girl vibes. Cashier was rude as well during checkout and overall the atmosphere was just unwelcoming. By far the worst Brandy Melville location I have ever been to. read more

They have six dressing rooms but only had one opened, the girls were loudly complaining about the amount of go backs and that they didn't want people to try anything on anymore and that then closing down all the dressing rooms but one should have been a sign for us to not try anything on. They were laughing saying they wanted to just shut down all the dressing rooms down that they had last week. I waited in line for over 20 minutes to try one shirt on and finally just went up to the register to buy it they informed me that they don't offer returns only store credit. If you're not going allow your customers to try on in store and shame them for wanting to try things on then you should also offer returns so that they can try on at home and return read more

awful experience. management needs to get it together and stop hiring disrespectful girls and start hiring people with basic human decency. after checking out at the store i found multiple stickers slapped on the back of my hoodie. i was just with one other person (who obviously didn't do it), and i 100% felt a girl brush way too close past me so safe to assume it was her. crazy the girls working here think its okay to touch someone without their permission. grow up. if you don't know how to act, maybe go back to kindergarten and relearn "keep your hands to yourself." i wish i knew the names of these girls to report them but it was hard to tell them apart between the matching pajamas they were wearing. i wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. if you're even thinking about going to this store, don't. shop online. the service sucks and every location i've been to has girls with the worst attitude. read more

I've been a loyal brandy customer for years and this has gotten to be one of the awkward experience i've ever seen. I'm from Los Angeles and the stores there are filled with lovely customer service who were always friendly, easy to talk to, and would approach you to ask if u needed any help but when i came to visit this san fran store, not only was I not greeted and ignored, the check out was complete silent. I just felt that it was weird that even my friend was like the vibe wasn't it it looks like they don't even wanna be there and won't even meet eye contact with us or say thank you. But the clothes are cute so i'll just shop online read more

Brandy Melville - Women's Clothing Near Me - San Francisco, California

Fraud warning! After charging for shipping/clothes, nothing was sent to us. I asked them to open a FedEx claim since they were the shippers and they refused to do so letting me know they are not responsible for this. The customer service is very rude and not helpful. I would not buy anything online! read more

I love brandy if I had to keep two stores it would be Aritzia and brandy, I cannot live without my brandy pajama shorts like

Absolutely filthy and a fire hazard given how packed people are, the clothing, etc... WEAR A MASK - the filth and body to body situation in the store is certainly a health hazard. If you are prone to anxiety, claustophobia, or suffer from any auto immune diseases -- AVOID. We are reporting this store to the city given these hazardous safety conditions. The owner is clearly about profit - not customer comfort, satisfaction or safety. Clothes are not that special or cost effective to warrant such a crowded store with brand loyal customers. The quality is Gap level. Bags, jewelry etc look cheap and made to break. Store personnel is rude, make no eye contact, and do not respond to requests for help. Why subject yourself to such cavalier and unsafe treatment at a store that doesn't know the first thing about customer service. read more

Yes, the store ambiance is obnoxious, and that's putting it mildly. The employees are all bored 18 year-olds getting paid minimum wage, gossiping with each other and ignoring customers. What can I say? I like their basic cotton knitwear. I've been shopping here for 10 years, even when half the merchandise doesn't fit me because no other brand can seem to figure out how to do relaxed cotton knitwear at a mid-price point. The prices are fair. Quality is above average. I've never had issues with holes or piling in the wash. If you're still shopping in 2023 with the expectation that minimum wage retail employees greet you with smile and a thank-you....perhaps adjust your expectations. read more

the girl with the bob and the eyelash extensions was so extremely rude, will not be coming back. she tried to scold us about leaving 2 items of clothing in the dressing room after we spent over $200, when there was no one even working near the dressing rooms to assist customers. very disappointed & very rude read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED. "Random bag check" victim. The only people bag checked were 2 Filipino girls who walked out alongside our half-white cousin. I hope the people of the community respond to this kind of energy appropriately and the company works to make sure that the consumer experience is pleasant and inclusive across all stores!!!! read more

I recently bought a bag and the hinge broke on it (faulty hinge). I want to keep the bag, not return it. I was hoping they could give me another strap or some suggestion to repair it. Customer Service went on a rant about once the item is worn or has the tag removed the customer is 100% responsible for it. Buyer beware! Do not spend your money here. They do not stand behind the quality/integrity of their products. How can you know how a product will perform if you do not use it? Brandy Melville sells CLOTHING and accessories that are used by humans....they do not sell ART to look at. What a sham of a company! read more

The quality of the clothes at BM is the worst - like styleless Old Navy! The clothes are so cheaply made that my 16 year old would do better shopping at Goodwill. Their stuff made of cotton is so thin and poorly made, I can't see them lasting more than 1 or 2 wash. Also, what's up with one size "XS/S" - how does a store like this still in business?!? read more

I don't get these these negative reviews . They seem so far fetched and made up. God, I feel bad for the crap they have to deal with from some of the over top customers who go there ( I've witnessed this a few times) I come here regularly ( I love my basics from here). The girls are very friendly and helpful. I've never once experienced any of the employees be rude to anyone. Majority of these negative reviews are bullshit They don't always greet people, but I don't think that's a negative thing - they're busy restocking tons of packages, refolding clothes that people toss all over the place , manage the dressing rooms, etc Special shout out to Nadia. She is delightful ! So friendly, sweet , and she's always working hard. Always a pleasure seeing her when I go in the store Also, shout out to Arianna . She's also super sweet, friendly, and provides great customer service as well. read more

I see why people prefer buying online. The store is cluttered due to the size. The girls who work there are polite... but aren't friendly( typical teenagers). There aren't many options for pants/jeans. Located in a "nice" area. Street parking. Probably won't go back, but online. read more
