I came here with my friend because she needed an outfit for Coachella. I see this store all over my Instagram and thought it was the perfect place to shop. My friend and I were the only minorities in the store and were ignored. The worker was very friendly and chatty with all the white customers. I was looking at some clothes and a garment near me dropped on the floor on its own. The worker saw it, picked it up and looked at me. Didn't even say anything. My friend was ready to try stuff on and that was the ONLY time we were acknowledged. My other friends, all POC as well, came inside to wait for us. It was just us and the worker starring at us trying to ignore our presence. The worker treated us like we were invisible and didn't want POCs in their store. It was very clear we were unwanted so we left. We were shocked how differently we were treated especially since it's 2023 and in San Francisco...I'm also shocked that this was our first time experience in the store since their Instagram seems very diverse and welcoming. Also their brand's story is about making an intimate in-store experience, which I witnessed happening for their white customers, but not for POCs like my friends and I. read more

One of my favorite stops to shop in the city! The boutique may seem tiny, but it is just the right size -- filled with lots of merchandise to look through. Don't hesitate to ask if they have your size in the back -- they don't always have everything out on the floor. Its a teeny difficult to see the storefront from the street if you're being dropped off, but once found, I really like how crisp and clean it is. While there are only two fitting rooms, you might need to wait in line -- but I didn't completely mind as I browsed around the rest of the store in the meantime. There were a few items I had tried on that I wanted to love, but either the size looked too big/small in the front or I had found something wrong with the banding and zipper on this one lovely set they only had one left of. I wish they carried size 5 shoes -- there were a few I liked but the size 6s were just a little too big on me. The sales associate on duty along with fellow boutique shoppers were super friendly -- no one was afraid of jumping in on a conversation. This boutique has a mix of reasonably affordable with the more luxe high-end priced items -- they house their own named merchandise along with a few recognizable labels. I love this store!! Over the Holidays I decided to buy a few items for my family and friends from Isalis. Due to the pandemic I did not want to shop in store, so I ordered everything online. Not only did I receive everything I ordered in a timely manner, but I accidentally ordered the wrong size in one item and the amazing customer service representative helped me fix that almost immediately. Shopping at Isalis for all of my holiday gifts was the best thing I could've done! They were so quick with my order and helpful when it came to my mistake - not to mention, everything was so cute.
