I purchased some anklets to dance in and they broke instantly when I tried to return them the owner told me it was my fault for pole dancing with them but it's a pole wear shop so??... They literally sell pole dance shoes, outfits and accessories it's completely absurd and unacceptable to tell me I can't pole dance with them. She refused to give me my money back and the only thing I was offered was a store credit for HALF the original price and wasn't allowed to use it to buy some new ones I liked because they are "two separate stores" well it's one building the merchandise isn't clearly separated at all. I went to Foot Worship (which I think is the same as this shop?) back in the day when I was a dancer and remember a huge selection. That was not the case when I was in there today. Barely anything, you can tell they are just stocking a ton of Pleasers to sell to the dancers working in the neighborhood and super phoning it in with everything else. I called ahead asking about a product which they said they had and when I got there they said they made a mistake and didn't have it. Was very disappointed and to make it worse the woman working there was super rude about it. If your shoe breaks mid shift this is your store but I don't recommend it for anything else. lol read more

I give this place a solid 3.5 stars because I use to come here way back when I was stripper starting out many years ago. A lot of the girls went here for awhile and then found other places that were easier on the wallet. Its very pricey and you almost have to be stripper to shop here because its so expensive. There are some nice outfits, but the prices are definitely marked up, not to mention you can't even get your basic run-of-the-mill G-string for less than $12. OK, OK I am rambling. Moving on.. it is however a great place to go for costumes and special occasion type attire. OKay, so this is a hush hush place where you don't want to let out that you frequent to too many people but you can seriously hear some very interesting conversations while trying on some crazy outfits in the dressing room. I love the selection of scantily clad halloween costumes and you can find just about any outfit that will satisfy any costume fantasy you, or your partner, have been looking forward to having in your closet!! It's not the biggest shop (it's a mezzanine so that takes away some of the available floor space) but they've got lots of clubwear, dancewear, swimwear, stripper gear, sexy dresses, costumes, lingerie, hosiery, pasties, jewelry (regular and body) and accessories. Basically any girl with a sense of adventure and playfulness will adore this store the way I do. The owner, Felicity, is always there and gives you solid sound advice as to what looks good and what pairs well with what you want to do. She's a fashionista fairy Godmother. BTW she has an infectious giggle and she's extremely sweet. This place is for all types of people; from strippers to business women who want to be sexified and the list goes on. My own transformation was eminent the moment I walked through the door, she took me from boring corporate attire to sultry, corset wearing diva all in tee minus 5 mins. I felt like I had my own personal stylist. The place is clean, organized and easily accessible. Felicity is really cool and she goes out of her way to accommodate her clients. On my second visit there, I overheard her offering to open the store on a day it's usually closed for 2 girls driving up from LA who wanted to do some private shopping! Even though I rated it 3 stars, I think it's more like 2 cause "Meh, I've experienced better" is really more accurate. However I'd like to note that I'm not a stripper so, I'm not exactly the target demographic. I was looking for go-go club gear type stuff...which may or may not be comparable. I guess the problem is I came with expectations since the reviews are so high. Even though the appeal attempts at boutique...it's not reflected in service or quality of items. The stuff here is cheap & tacky looking, for all the space they have...the selection is actually quite sparse (however, maybe I came before they restocked?) & the prices are high for what you get. If you're looking for cheapy rayon or nylon prepackaged slutty looking halloween type COSTUMES, bikini sets & fetish shoes, this might be the place for you. But If you're looking for a huge selection of body stockings, thigh highs, sexy lingerie, chaps, micro minis, light S&M fashion or fishnet clothing...this might not be the ultimate stop. On a side note, I think the lighting is terrible. It's too dark. Its not a bad place by any means, but for sure, it's all in what you're looking for. Personally, Its not my style. read more

When I used to work at an exotic dance club down the street, Felicity more than once saved my ass by delivering a new outfit when I'd forgotten to pack mine. With a warm, inviting atmosphere, I've brought my mainstream more "vanilla" friends here too when they've been looking for a sexy little outfit for themselves. The prices may seem a tad high on first glance, but sales tax is included in that price, and she always gives performer discounts- even if you're performing in your living room for your husband ;-) Having just moved back to SF, I was amazed she remembered me when I walked in the door, and even remembered my specific preferences for styles. But what I do want to say is that this store is ripping off their customers. I asked the ladies how much this black teddy I found was...they said it was $55 (written on the back) but they could give it to me for $45. I thought they were being very nice and I thought I was getting a deal. Well, just today I was on Forever 21 looking at body suits. Not even looking at lingerie. And saw the same exact teddy for $28. I went here yesterday to shop for Halloween costume and it was nice to see the same faces still working there. I noticed the sizes were all over the place though. I tried on a large top and it was way too small and then a large in some things were way too big kinda inconsistent so definitely try stuff on.
