Even though we were stalled on booking our games (due to the Venue needed to help with the layout), Luiza was still openly optimistic about helping us and in the end we got all the games we wanted. We opted for Ring Toss, Giant Checkers and Clowning Around (Bean Bag Target type of game - see photo). Except for the Giant Checkers, the prices are fairly reasonable. Please note that someone else may think that the price was reasonable...it's all subjective. Here's What I Think.... They have a ton of games from which to choose. My now wife and I were looking for a new couch before our parents came for Thanksgiving. Ira helped us look at a couple of classic pull out couches but the mattresses on them weren't very comfortable. He was very patient and never pushed us into getting something we didn't really like despite what we were looking for. He also suggested we look at some of the more modern sofa sleepers as there would be more comfortable and be better on space. We ended up falling in love with the grey sleeper sofa in the provided picture as it had a part where it extends, drink holders in the middle, charging ports in each side and shelves at the side to hold books or other items. We got all of this for less than $1000! We even found the same model at another store and Ira was able to price match it. Ira's team was able to deliver it to my house the same week and even took away the old couch. Overall, I had a great experience with Bedroom Express and I'll probably come back if I want a larger couch or even a mattress. Thanks Ira!

The LDS church rents out their community center to what it seems like anyone who wants to use it for almost any sort of party. For the past year and a half during these parties we have had to put up with kids playing loudly, adults talking and yelling and most annoyingly, music so loud that we can literally feel the bass in our apartment. Not only can we feel the bass but our windows rattle because of it. I know that San Bruno's noise ordinance states that noise must be kept below a certain level after 10pm. I have called the San Bruno police several times after 10pm to complain. They usually respond within 20 minutes but as soon as the police leave the music is turned up again. A couple of incidents from last night's party that infuriated us: kids popping balloons at 10:30pm and a couple sitting on our patio steps, talking and flirting. Some of these parties go on until midnight. As residents of San Bruno and parents to a small baby we are beyond frustrated at this point. We don't understand how the LDS church, with one of it's core values being "Being a good citizen makes our world a safer and more peaceful place. Our small efforts have a large impact" (http://mormon.org/citizenship), can allow these loud obnoxious parties to take place in one of their community centers. We don't mind people renting the space and having parties as long as they followed the rules and respected the people who live nearby. It makes us wonder if the church even informs them of the rules and regulations because they clearly don't enforce them.

I placed an order in March and waited until late May to check on my order for a key for my brother's 2011 Toyota Sienna that we intended to sell. Because of the time lapse, we decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. One of the Costco managers asked me about my situation and called the company in trying to get an immediate approval for my refund but we hit a roadblock as they, being east coast based, asked us to call them back. The manager took my info and told me he'd call me after working on this with them. The next day, he called me and told me the seller insisted that I be present for the call before they'd approve it so I may an appointment to return a week later during my regular Costco shopping day. We met up again and he explained the process before heading to their office and speaking with them on their landline speaker phone. A short time later, we walked to the returns counter and my refund was completed. Big thanks to David for his patience and attention to details in helping me resolve this complicated situation. As with the other veteran staff there, he is friendly and helpful in making my shopping experience seamless.
