Overall it was not that expensive and they serve food. Service was prompt, with workers who might as well blend in with patrons. The lady/owner? at the cash register/checkout is friendly (asked if there were specials on a Saturday night...she said no, but first round can get a B1G1 Coronas deal...so did). Also got two orders of the chicken wings, which has five in an order (http://static.px.yelp.com/bphoto/2wyUhxqM318AhubzhFFxPA/l). It's a big enough pool hall. There are 14 pool tables (regulation size), 3 billiards tables (the ones with no pockets) and one bar/pub pool table (smaller size). The pool sticks are not warped, but there is no chalk so it's kind of grippy at first. The restrooms are all the way in the back of the place. Nothing is really open around this area late at night, unless one counts a few taquerias and bars a few blocks away. This place closes at 2am, and "opens 365 days a year" yeah.

Brief Summary: - Inside Stonestown Mall…read more- Mix of arcade, bowling, and rhythm games - My review doesn't include karaoke or eating - Items in the crane machines change at a monthly cadence - You can ask the staff to move the item in the crane machine, that only has one prize, to the original spot I reached a place in life, where I have funds I can use to enjoy this venue. If you are financially not in the good place, I don't recommend playing crane games. Most of my experiences with the smaller crane game, where only one item is placed in the platform, is friendlier. Friendlier I mean that it usually takes me 1-5 tries to get the prize. The larger the item, the more tokens it takes. For the case with these crane machines, if the item moves in an area that makes it impossible for the crane to reach, you can find a staff member, and they will move the item back to the original spot. Items in the crane machines are generally cute, and also tend to lean towards recently trending anime series. Occasionally, they offer collaborations with other series, so it's fun. This Round1 contains half of the room with crane games and arcade games, and then the remaining half contains bowling and eating area. Recently, within the arcade area, they added 3 rows of gatchapon machines. I played at the bowling alley once, but I think I'm just naturally more entertained with arcade and crane games. On weekends, the arcade side is bustling with rhythm game players in groups, and it's a joy to see them playing together. I was happy to see the Taiko game and Dance Dance Revolutions games to play some songs. I was impressed with the Taiko game; it updated with recently new songs from Japan. Recently discovered coin push games at Round1. I never was attracted to this type of arcade game, but there was one machine that combined RPG battling style. I also wasn't interested in ticket collecting to exchange for prizes either, but after trying different machines, I found one that will balance out my crane game or rhythm game enjoyment (but returns no tickets/points) to the coin push games.

Just wanted to report my brief experience with this Round1. First time at a Round1 in the US. My…read morebrother is out-of-town and asked me to run an errand for him. Something about a One-Piece promo (for every $20, you get a promo card pack or something). He isn't able to make it to any location before the promo ends. Apparently, you have to be the person who signed up to claim the promo. (Somewhere in the terms, it says it isn't transferable.) Which sucks. Made my way out from Fremont. Stood in line. I had his ID and his claim email. And money ready to go. Trying to not be a jerk and as low impact to everyone else as possible. Got to the front, showed the lady the email. Showed her my brother's ID. She checks her list. She checks the email on my phone. Then swipes to the top of the email and asks me why the email was forwarded. I said that I am trying to pick this up for my brother. Then I was turned away. Not sure why it bothers me. Maybe it was the unnecessary swipe/probing around my phone. Or maybe I was annoyed that I had to bend over backwards to make my way out there. But yeah... left empty handed. I was ready to buy the maximum. I was super hungry and needed a snack... and was planing on maybe grabbing something... And I was hoping to get a few games or few claw machine attempts in... Instead... I just head straight to the exit. Did not spend a dollar. And probably will not consider this location or any other location in the future. I totally understand why the policies are in place. I know the OnePiece TCG thing is just bonkers to certain group. The party in front of me was a family of three and... it looked like they each walked away with the per person limit. It was just me and my mom... but only me trying to claim anything. Honestly, I think 3 stars would have been the appropriate rating. But... I downgraded to 2 starts as the extra swiping motion on my phone to look at other parts of the email, especially without asking, felt like a violation of my privacy. Lesson learned... not going to let people touch my phone any more. If they want to see more information, I can show them. But no touchy.

My buddy is a regular and knows the team that works here. This has been our go to place when I visit. Beers on tap, full bar, cocktail program, etc. Pool, darts, etc. Events - Bands, live music, etc. Happy hour available. But we always meet late at night as he is just too busy during the day and still has young kids. Atmosphere - Decent size neighborhood bar. Full bar, cocktails, wine, beer, etc. Quiet for a Friday night, which suits me just fine; actually, I prefer it that way. Open 7 days a week from noon till 2am, and we closed the bar, as usual (Yelp hours differ slightly). Events - See their website. Dart league, pool league, etc. Service - Good, not sure if she recognized me as a "regular" or because my buddy who is a regular and showed up later. Always able to open a tab or pay as you go. FYI - Free BBQ on select Sundays and munchies on select nights. Price - $80 + generous tip. Yes, we drink a lot. And could have even drank more. Actually very reasonably priced for SF, considering how many drinks we got today. Just noticed that I can buy pitchers?!?! That might save me a few $$ in the future, lol.
