Many had cracked ferrules, and the felt on the table shifted under my bridge hand. For $10/hr, I was charged $8.25 for only 20 minutes of table time, which felt unreasonable. What really concerns me is the bigger picture. If a newcomer curious about pool stumbled into this environment, I doubt they'd want to come back. Facilities like this should be introducing people to the fun and quality of cue sports--not turning them away.
