In a city where a decent meal can easily run you $20 or more, the Costco food court is a rare and beautiful thing. I've been coming here for years, back when the menu was basically salted pretzels and a hot dog and that was it. Watching it evolve into what it is today has been its own kind of journey. The hot dog and soda combo for $1.50 is legendary for a reason. It's filling, it's satisfying, and that price hasn't changed in decades. If you're on a budget or just don't feel like spending, this is your move. The pizza by the slice is genuinely good for what it is, easily some of the best in the "quick and cheap" category in SF. Now for my grievances: the combo pizza is gone, and so is the Polish dog, which was honestly one of my favorites. Those were real losses and I'm not over it. If I'm being bad, I'll sneak a Very Berry sundae. Lactose intolerance be damned, sometimes it's worth it. I just try not to make it a habit. This isn't fine dining and it doesn't pretend to be. I've been to this Costco more times than I'd like to admit, but the deals and return policy are just too good, especially when buying electronics like airpods, TVs, and even a new standing desk. I recently needed a new desk because my last one stopped working after 7 years. So I went with the new Tresenti Aurora desk, which was super easy to build (probably 20ish minutes) and love the look look of it plus the led lights around the desk sets some cool WFH vibes. Along with my desk, I need to grab a new TV. It's crazy how inexpensive large flat screen TVs have gotten over the years. I found a great deal for a 65" samsung for $269. It was all good til I got to my car, and found out it doesn't fit in my Tacoma truck bed lol. Good thing I didn't leave the parking lot because I was able to return it right away and grabbed an LG 55" instead. A little more expensive but it ended up being the right choice. Another cool new find I discovered was actually through my vet. Flea/tick medication (simparco trio) is pricey when purchasing from the vet. My vet let me know that Costco fills pet prescriptions, and I was able to save some money on a 6-month supply once it got filled. If you want to do this, you'll need a printed copy of your pet's prescription, and they'll need to verify this with your vet before processing. I ended up having to come back two days later because my vet took awhile to get back to the pharmacy, so keep that in mind and give yourself some leeway to get your prescription approved. All in all, just another benefit of being a Costco member! Also, the prices online are higher than in-store, so if you find something you want, definitely recommend going in-person versus buying online. This is my go to Costco. It's practically next door to SFO International Airport. Although I live in the City, it's easier to drive here than the stop & go from my house to the Costco on 10th St. This Costco has become almost as busy as the Costco on El Camino in SSF. The biggest differences to me are the clothing selections and size availability. More of both at SSF location. Today I needed some motion sickness tablets. Generic is just as good as your name brands. It's behind the pharmacy counter even though no prescription required. And you can't beat the price. Less than $4 for 100 tablets. And the food court is the biggest one I've seen. Plenty of seating. Parking has become challenging with overflow across the street next to the gas station. Irregardless of which Costco you go to, you need to scan your Costco membership card or Costco credit card to enter the warehouse. read more

This is the first Kirkland Costco I ever visited, we all would come and grab the sushi platters that came in a circle and always at birthday parties. This Costco is a one stop shop. Food court is detached and a frequent lunch spot. Unlike the city one there is regular sodas not just diet. The staff here has always been helpful and professional. The parking lot was packed at 7:00pm on a Tuesday but it wasn't that crowded inside. The shopping experience was peaceful and spacious. We have been members at Costco since 80's. Ever since, we normally buy meat weekly for a family of 5 plus supplies so we spend a-lot (and when i say alot its alot) of our grocery here. So, for the past 20+ years normally we get plastics to separate our meats. Today, Sunday with a super long line, a cashier named Gordon helped me with his very loud voice holding the green plastic- cant take plastics these! I explained that used it to separate meat - he said " I DONT CARE WHAT YOU DO WITH IT BUT THIS IS FOR CUSTOMER WHILE HOLDING THE BAG AND THE LONG LINE OF PEOPLE LOOKING AT ME"- (in my head, AM I I NOT A CUSTOMER?) since its a Sunday, with a long line and i know everyone just wants to get in and out and plus i don't want to cause any scene- i just say ok with my face super duper embarrassed!!! :( I just don't understand why he would embarrass customers who actually are the reason why they have a job. This Costco is right next to SFO airport and has a huge parking lot. Came here to buy individual chip bags for church picnic and found Boulder Canyon avocado oil chips with three flavors and some other items. Costco is best for food and snacks to parties. But to shop here for yourself usually results in buying & eating too much food. Layout is a bit different here with all the food on one side. Pretty expansive indoor seating area for the food court, which is a nice feature here that other Costco's don't usually have. The rotisserie chickens continue to be oddly huge and now they're packaged in plastic bags which may not be ideal for hot food. Self service line moves quickly. Great return policy. read more

Be aware of expiration dates when shopping. Today I bought some oat milk and saw two boxes with expiration dates of 2022!! Expired 3 years ago! I brought it to the staff's attention so that it can be removed from the shelf in case somebody buys it. She said most likely someone returned it and they weren't paying attention and somehow ended back on the shelf. Chips, eggs, Nuts, Coffee, Drinks, premade salads and premade meals and meat. Usually $120.....$10/item average. Typical counter-clockwise layout with good parking. This one has decent alcohol selection and wholesale business center down the road is better to avoid the people shopping for clothes and other items that are not needed for an office. Being close to the airport I find this is better and more efficient than the one in nearby Colma. read more

Review on tire shop only: Complete lack of competence and zero regard for customer safety or membership loyalty. We were stranded near SFO on a donut spare tire after a flat on a tire we had purchased from Costco less than 6 months ago. We did everything right: we called from across the state multiple days in advance to ensure they ordered the one specific tire we needed and scheduled a 10:00 AM appointment. Despite rearranging our entire weekend, paying for a hotel, and giving them days of lead time, the SF staff had zero notes in their system. They were completely unprepared, hadn't ordered the tire, and the technician actually thought we just needed a 'patch.' To make matters worse, the SF staff tried to claim our warranty wouldn't cover the replacement, despite the tire being nearly brand new. We were forced to drive all the way to San Jose, where the staff there confirmed the warranty WAS valid and got us back on the road. We didn't finally get the new tire installed until 5:15 PM. San Francisco wasted our entire Sunday, ignored our safety concerns, and tried to dodge their own warranty obligations. If you are in an emergency situation near the airport, do NOT trust this location to follow through on their word or their membership promises. read more

This is our local Costco we've been coming to for 12+ years. We love this location, as it is easy to get to off the freeway, and has everything you need! They have a tire center, gas station, optometrist, hearing aid specialist, pharmacy, and more! We come here for our eye appointments and have had good experiences with the partner they use. As with most Costcos, the gas is the cheapest in town. However, that often times comes with a long line of cars waiting to fill up. They display (pretty accurate) gas prices online, so you can always check before you go. Keep in mind you will likely have to wait a bit, unless you plan the timing just right. They have most everything all Costcos have, but not everything. There have been a couple instances where I saw something online featured at Costco, and they did not carry it/hadn't heard of it. This location generally can get very busy, especially on the weekends. If you go during peak hours, expect to have to cruise the parking lot a bit to find a spot. Important to note that if it's REALLY busy, there is an overflow lot across the way where the gas station is that always has spots available. The staff are generally all really friendly, and with samples making a return more recently, we love coming here! read more

I purchased a mattress from Costco, and their delivery services are nothing but headaches. When I purchased this mattress, I selected a time frame to deliver my product that works for me not the other way around. They called me at 11 am saying that they were ready to deliver it I told them that they were supposed to come between 12 and 2 pm and I wasn't ready, so they responded that I was their last delivery and they made it sound like it may be difficult to deliver it again, so I told them to wait and explained to them where I was located, but this people don't understand when someone is explaining something to them. I couldn't understand their English, lucky for me I'm fluent in Spanish but they just don't understand in English or Spanish. They were lost and I directed them to where my building was and told them that I'll be at the curb so they can see me. I waited 15 minutes at the curb called twice but no answer, so I was ready to leave when they called back saying they were coming back I thought that they were going to wait for me but apparently, they were in a hurry and left. Finally, they got here so one of them got out of the truck I started walking back to my building where I live and this person said that he couldn't walk too far, I told them that I have issues with my back, and I wasn't complaining that they made me wait 15 minutes and they didn't answer the phone. I am so stressed out with Costco unprofessional delivery services that I will never order anything online from Costco because of this cheap and mess up services that they have. I came by the Costco after checking out the Business Center. On a Saturday it can be difficult to find parking. Thankfully I did not have to park where the gas station is located at. This Costco location is busy like the El Camino location. With two Costco not far from each other I can go to either location if one Costco does not have the product in stock. I took advantage of going to Costco while waiting for someone to arrive at the airport. It does help out to hang out at Costco while you'll waiting for someone to arrive. What is funny I actually I ate at the Food Court. I was able to find a table to sit down and eat. I've been coming here for 2 decades. This one employee named "EGL" is got to be the the most weird, rude, and pathetic staff member in this whole warehouse. He is a short, chubby, Filipino man in his 40's or 50's that looks disgruntled and hates his life so he puts it out on every customer he deals with so he can ruin their days. I've dealt with him in the past and will avoid him like the plague. Today I accidentally went to his line because all the other ones were long except his. Maybe other regular customers knows him well too that's why they avoid him. I usually place all my items bar code up and leave it in the cart. I take out whatever is needed to be taken out to be placed on the conveyer belt. I never have any issue with any other cashier and they often thank me for putting all the bar codes up. Not to mention, they prefer it in the cart. Today, cashier EGL ranged me up. This is how weird this guy is. It was my turn so I handed him my membership for him to scan. That's usually what cashiers do for the 2 decades I've been coming here. He said wait and didn't scan my card. Which I thought was weird, but I ignored it. He then goes and put half, I repeat, half of the things in my cart onto the conveyer belt. All my items in my cart were already placed in a way that the bar codes are facing up ready for him to scan. But he weirdly took out not all, but half of my items in cart and placed it on the conveyer belt. lol. I wanted to ask him why but I was confused by this clowns actions that I didn't say anything. I had less than 10 items with all the bar codes facing up with him. He also had his portable scanner in his hand. Why would you take out HALF of my items and put it on the conveyer belt? Why not just take all of it out if you want all items out? What a weirdo. And that's not the end of it. After finishing the transaction he grab the receipt so I went to get it from him and said thanks. You know what this guy did? He threw it on the counter. You can't even make this stuff up. I literally had my hands inches from his to grab my receipt and he purposefully threw the receipt on the counter without saying a word. When I was leaving, he start taking out items from the customer behind me. I heard the customer surprisingly told him that she had also placed all the bar code facing up, just like I did. This customer has no idea about this clown named EGL. I can't even make this stuff up. What a sad and pathetic person. Costco obviously couldn't care less. read more

It's Costco, it's good, not much else to say in the positive column. Cheap prices, food quality, food service. Boom. Negatives - Food Court Not sure what is up here, but the food court here has the longest lines, and the worst pizza. If I have free time, I will actively go to another Costco. The pizza here is the soggiest, most undercooked/overproofed, of any Costco in North pen. I've bought several pizzas at this location and they are literally lopsided, with the crust on one side being paper thin, and extra thick on the other. Parking For the love of God and all that is holy, worst Costco parking in the bay. I've fought for spots at the Santa Clara location, I've driven in circles in Mountain view and RWC, but there's always some spots. If you are coming to shop here between 11am - 6pm, the only way to find a spot is to find someone unloading the car and wait. Which normally I hate doing, I judge the fuck out of ppl sitting behind someone for 20 minutes waiting for their spot near the entrance. I'll happily take the first spot I see, even if it's the farthest point form the store, I like the wall nbd. But my goodness, you can drive in circles for 10 minutes and not find a spot.
