Table full of Dollar Tree shit
    Justin H.

Always pleasantly surprised to find items here that I didn't know I needed. Usually spend more than the intended $1². Oh, you didn't know? The "Dollar Tree" is actually the Dollar Twenty Five Tree, and sometimes the Three Dollar Tree, or The Five Dollar Tree, or maybe The Eight Dollar Tree. I have not seen a single item costing one dollar in a few years. But oh well, it's still a bargain. My routine had been to hit the Goodwill first and take advantage of their inconsistent and uniformed pricing "structure", then head to the Dollar Tree to fill in the blanks. But now I'm just going to hit Dollar Tree first. They usually have the "organizational items I'm looking for, and I'm never shocked by the price. Plus, I can return any item for a full refund, if I have my receipt. Try that at the Goodwill. Ooooh, don't get me started on the Good f*$@#! will. I suggest when visiting Dollar Tree, come prepared. Have a list and stick to it. Their inventory changes often and if you start to wander the aisles you, or your kid, or your boyfriend that acts like a kid, is going to see something they absolutely must have. And since it's just a buck twenty five, f*** it, get two. In no time your basket is full of shit you didn't know was soooo important to your happiness. Also, have your crap together before you reach the register, or someone might smash your hands with a $1² hammer. Just sayin.

One of the larger Dollar Trees in the area. Also, by far the tidiest, most organized and well-stocked.

I've been to a lot of dollar trees in my travels, and let me tell you, this is the biggest, organized, well stocked location I've ever seen! I'm not exaggerating. I was in shock. You're definitely gonna walk out with more than you went in for because they have everything. Cleaning, food, beauty, snacks, pantry, knick knacks, auto, home, kids, you name it. They got it right here. Recommend? Absolutely.

There was no water when I needed them. Somewhat clean Ok I hope that helps Happy yelping y'all

I honestly really love the Dollar Tree. You can definitely find a great item that will come in super handy, whether it be from Holiday decorations the arts and craft supplies,To the toilet paper that won't give you butt burn unless you eat the dollar store steak that will definitely give you Niagara Falls mudd butt. This location on El Camino is not my favorite location. I've been here several times and each time I find myself witnessing a world star worthy situation. From the fights in the parking lot to the women half naked wondering the aisles screaming,"Where the F is the Top Ramen" Beside the Candy(Gummy bears) and the really good jamaican patties(seriously try them) you can be sure to not break the bank finding some-what quality products. Bathroom look like a murder scene, staff is 50/50 and store looks a mess. Parking lot on most days can be easy if you go to the not so lazy side but if you want front row parking you better be ready to Duke it out. I quess if you have to, check em out!

    Gerber baby food & snacks!

For a dollar store this place is huge! This is the largest dollar store I've been to, the aisles were very clean, open and well lit. The staff was friendly and they immediately called for more cashiers when It got busy, was impressed. Best of all it didn't have that mothball smell to it. Got a tip off from one of the mommies in my group that they offered a selection of Gerber baby food, since I was going to be in the city I decided to stop off on the way home. Learned from the cashier that they always have a supply of baby food available. Mommies this is a place to stretch those dollars!

Another year with a beautiful Christmas Tree decorated with ornaments from Dollar Tree!
    Jennifer C P.

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am obsessed with Dollar Tree. It started last year with my great Christmas tree ornament haul in Pacifica. I was really impressed with the quality of ornaments I found pre-December that rivaled similar styles that were more expensive at Michaels. That year I saved so much money on Christmas Tree ornaments and gift wrap that I was able to buy each of my 2 daughters an extra Christmas gift. Then I went to Dollar Tree again for a party haul. I bought plates, utensils, napkins, cups, tablecloth and streamers in the color of the party theme. I also found sterno cans to keep food at the buffet warm. I found all kinds of aluminum pans in various sizes for the buffet. Lastly, I found assorted plastic serving dishes and utensils. The next trip was specifically for a beauty haul to find things for donation. I found a lot of mass market drugstore brands for $1 that I would have to aggressively coupon to get to $1 at the drugstore. A lot of the brands carried here are also cruelty free like Milani, LA Colors, Wet N Wild, and ELF. Couple said $1 item with a coupon and you are in deep savings zone. Recently I befriended a great group of ladies who have beauty and lifestyle blogs, Instagram, YouTube channels, etc. They keep me abreast of the best finds for the month at Dollar Tree. I found so many great personal care and beauty items to try, love, share, donate. I love their gift bags, tissue paper and 2/$1 greeting cards. I bought a box of 20 Christmas cards here for $1. There are also great non-beauty seasonal items that I will specifically drive from here to Sacramento to visit every Dollar Tree to find. Of course I wind up finding other things I need or want ...which is fine. Now I go to buy the yummy lightly scented candles, picture frames, and to find things for the kitchen like seasonal dish cloths and oven mitts, mugs and whatever. I also buy tape for presents, packing tape and bubble envelopes for shipping love and care packages to my family overseas. I buy movie theater style candy for $1 a box because well...you know. Despite a list based on items from the email from Dollar Tree letting me know what's new in store and my network of friends who are hardcore Dollar Tree shoppers, I never know what I treasures I will find here - which is really a big part of the excitement for me. It's like a scavenger hunt for adults! To get the most out of your Dollar Tree experience: 1. Know that all Dollar Tree stores are not created equally. Visit more than one and you will see the distinct differences. 2. If you see something you want - BUY IT! Not every store will carry it or have it in stock. 3. Dollar Tree has many items that are only available for that month and those often run out. 4. Dollar Tree accepts a limit of TWO printed Internet coupons per day so you better bring your binder of newspaper or peelie coupons if you plan to use more. 5. Super Savers - go to DollarTree.com to join this club. You will get the heads up on the upcoming items that you want to keep an eye out for. 6. This is my second year receiving the heads up on the 10% on your entire purchase of $10 or more customer appreciation day. Lastly - share your great finds with others. For the past few years luxury department stores and Dollar Tree have experienced spikes in customer growth. This means a lot of people would love to learn about Dollar Tree and what can be found there! I also find it helpful to have people share what they do not like at Dollar Tree. I do not think because something only costs a dollar it's poor quality. No, I am a saavy shopper who knows what things are worth based on the quality. Listen - I am not ashamed to admit I love love LOVE to save money where I can because I use that money saved on well thought out, planned splurges! Smart people manage their money well. Remember that. It is a talent and a gift to be able to stretch a dollar. Be proud you can do that. I love Dollar Tree and it is my hope you find something to love about it too!

They get a lot of pallet items from big box stores and Amazon, so inventory is always changing. Plenty of stuff under MSRP, lots of tools, and a good mix of new in box and sealed items. It's honestly just fun to browse and see what turns up. Be warned though, it is quite messy inside so be ready to dig. Some items are returns, which is expected with pallet goods, but they do inspect things before putting them out. The owner said I could "check it out," so I lifted the top of the box in the store, saw tags attached, and trusted their representation that it was new and complete. I purchased the saw well in advance of the beginning of my project because it seemed like a good deal. Almost two months later, when I fully unpacked it to start my project, I discovered multiple essential parts were missing. The saw is completely unusable. When I contacted the store, they refused any refund and blamed me for not fully unpacking and inventorying every component at the counter. That expectation is unreasonable. This is a large saw with many tightly packed components. Once fully unpacked, it's nearly impossible to repack it exactly as it was. The store is extremely cluttered with little open space, making it impractical to lay out and inspect every part of a large piece of equipment on-site. At the end of the day, I trusted their advertisement and verbal assurance that I was purchasing a new, complete product. Instead, I was left with an unusable saw and zero accountability from the seller. I am now out $250 and forced to replace it. If you shop here, assume you are taking on all risk. Inspect every component before paying -- because if something is wrong, you will be told it's your fault. Also, the pictures provided above by this store are not what it looks like inside. Items are scattered everywhere. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!

During the 45-minute break between rotations, new items are brought out, but if you're planning to be there all day, it's pretty frustrating to have to leave for such a long period. Personally, I preferred the old schedule where we didn't have to step out for such an extended break. It felt more efficient and enjoyable, especially for those who like to take their time browsing. In my opinion, the new system feels like a waste of time, and I hope they consider going back to the previous setup. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that there are no longer any household items or shoes available -- it's all clothes now. The selection is pretty bad, and I found myself leaving empty-handed. It's a shame because the variety used to be one of the best parts of shopping there. Overall, the experience has really gone downhill, and I hope they reconsider both the new schedule and their stock offerings. It's still a place to find bargains if you're patient, but the changes have made it much less enjoyable than it used to be.

I appreciate how the Dollar store (more like $1.25 now) offers a wide variety of items, including: gifts, toys, home essentials, snacks, frozen goods, and drinks. This particular location (At the Serramonte Center) is one of my favorites because they clearly highlight and focus on being tidy, well-organized, and spacious, with plenty of parking on site. What I have even learned is during national holidays, like: the 4th of July, Easter, Thanksgiving and especially the Christmas holiday season. The dollar tree will highlight those holidays with sales on special decor and festive displays or gifts options. At just an affordable price point. It's so easy to go here as an alternative to the larger chain stores. Although the price has gone up to $1.25 (or more depending on what you are buying). There are still some great finds. You just have to be a little more careful with your purchases because some of the items are not the price you are expecting them to be anymore. As a tip. I highly recommend checking your receipt before leaving the store to make sure you didn't buy anything that cost more than you were expecting. Especially because things can add up quicker than you think. Other than that I'd say that the store is clean and well stocked. The staff here are very friendly when you need help and this location never really feels to be crowded and overwhelming. Definitely worth the trip and your time..
