The lady and I had a craving for some hookah, and I had always seen this one after eating at Pho de Nguyen, so when she wanted hookah, this was the first place I thought about. We came on a Saturday night, and there was plenty of seating available. The gentlemen who was helping us out was the only one there serving everyone and he was quick to get us set up. They have a pretty extensive menu with plenty of flavors and house special combos. For the two of us, a single hookah was under $40 and we were able to kick it there for 1.5-2 hours. They've got comfy seating, plenty of TVs, and a inviting place to just kick it and enjoy some hookah. They've got small tables and big ones to accommodate larger groups. What's cool is that you are able to bring in your own food, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks to enjoy while you are there. They also offer free hot tea for guests. After one visit, I can definitely see myself coming back here again, especially during 49ers and Warriors games. read more

First off why do I not see a lot of people in the store? This is in between an amazing neighborhood. It's so lively pretty and there are so many restaurants around this area. You would expect a lot of people to be walking around checking out this hookah lounge to see your Friday night without a lot of people in the store, this hookah store has great collection of mixes and they have really nice hookahs. If they were not running any specials on Google and yelp I would not have known about this place. I just ended up going there casually and meeting alam who is the owner of this store he was a gem of a guy with a very good heart. His hospitality blew my mind. He offered me hot tea,, which was free for everyone, a bottle of water free, and he also gave me a free ice hose. I would definitely take a lot of my friends and go there, I encourage all of you to go enjoy this place. This is amazing Hookah launch. read more

10/10 if I could. I should've written this review a few months ago, but I did my birthday here at Paradise. we reserved the VIP section. The owner was so welcoming and his staff member to great care of us. They were east o communicate with and answered any questions. I recommend doing this for any event with their group of people. The ambience was great. Music was good they even cater if you'd like. But also we're allowed to bring our own food. The price is even affordable !!! I wish I took pictures but I was having too much fun! read more

When you mix House Flavors, it'll be $20 even though both flavors are under the $15 range... What a joke. We also ask for another mint recommendation and the guy said "Double Apple with mint"... it literally tasted like licorice - so gross. I'm not sure how that is a popular flavor. But because the way they take your order is so fast, my friends and I rushed on ordering. BIG MISTAKE. The manager (it seems like) told us since we had 3 ppl we have to get 2 hookahs which is fine. But again, because of how quick they make you order, we missed the top where it says something along the lines of "one hookah for every 2 people or it'll be an additional $5 per person". So we were fooled and paid $40+ for 2 hookahs when we could have done 1 hookah amongst 3 ppl and paid $25+. Jesus. Also, not sure if it is because we had a smaller group, but I felt like we were being neglected in terms of customer service. We asked for coals and I saw the lady walk around to every other table to give them coals and by the time she walked to us - she ran out. Which is understandable... But it becomes NOT understandable when that happens TWICE. So she finally comes around to my group and gives us ONE new coal for the two hookahs we had and puts back on our old/ small coals... Our hookahs weren't even hitting hard because it wasn't hot enough. I wouldn't come back here if I was in the area. Being treated bad customer service and being kind of tricked in the beginning on what to buy - not cool. read more

What I'd change: 1. pay more attention to what's left on the television for several hours. the other night it was watching Warriors post-game commentary on silent. I saw Charles Barkley about 12 times but never heard a word he said. The background music was good, however. 2. install a little fridge and sell some cheap sandwiches or maybe some pita bread and hummus. you could always offer foods that have a long shelf life if you are trying to cut down on wastefulness. 3. give the walls some more character. maybe add some middle eastern artwork, or allow customers to submit some of their own artwork to be displayed. 4. UFC events might draw some people in. Maybe do a survey to see how much interest customers have. 5. You may have this already, but if you don't, a once per week movie night would be fun. You could take a poll on your facebook page and then announce the selection a few days in advance. What's great? What would I not change: 1. the prices are fair. everything in this area is expensive, so $20 for hookah that lasts several hours is not too much to ask. Its nice that you have options on accessories for your hoses. The flavor selection is good. 2. there are different types of seats. some are more rigid and less cozy, which is good if you want to stay alert and get work done. some other seats are more cozy - they're couches you can sink into. 3. the staff have a friendly approach. that goes a long way. the bathroom was clean, too. 4. the parking was convenient. I could see that my vehicle was safe while I was smoking. 5. the hours are fair. opening at noon is nice because many other lounges are not open as long. closing at 3am on friday and Saturday is great. if you make one day 4am, i doubt many customers would have a problem with that. Keep this place going. Its pretty cool. I will definitely be returning regularly. Thank you. read more

This place IS Paradise! The best I could've asked for! You need to try this spot! My friends invited me to Paradise Hookah Lounge last night. It was my first time smoking hookah, and as a mostly non-smoker, I didn't really know what to expect. The owner, Al (hope I spelled your name correctly!) was super friendly and helpful. He welcomed us in and showed us the menu, answered our questions about what we might like - we chose their special house mix - 10/10, it was so good. Hella smooth and not harsh at all. My group ended up staying for 3 hours until closing - and Al made sure we were taken care of the entire time. He checked our setup throughout the night to make sure it worked and adjusted as needed, kept our coals fresh. Really he made sure we had the best visit we could have, and like I said above, it was perfect. I highly HIGHLY recommend you come by and check Paradise out. I already want to go back. We actually came out to celebrate Mother's Day and it was a blast . The service was great and the prices are very reasonable. Their Credit/Debit machine was out of order, so we had to pay in cash. But that wasn't really a big deal. The ambiance was really nice and relaxing. The space is big enough to fit an entire party. I loved the experience! I do not believe they serve food but we came from a restaurant so yea. read more

One of the most fun and entertaining experiences and the owner really knows his stuff. He is trying to build it back up after Covid but if you want a great ambiance and great hookah flavors come see him. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He keeps flavors fresh and always is very attentive to your needs and brings fresh coals all the time. My go-to hookah spot. I love this place, and it makes it even better when there's awesome service. Always get greeted when I walk in and the workers always offer suggestions as well, depending on what kind of flavor you're looking for. Tonight, my boyfriend and I were suggested to try grape mint, and so we did. Literally one of the best flavors I've ever had. The workers also know you exist and check up on you to make sure you're satisfied with your hookah; most places don't ever do that lol. You can tell these people actually care about their customers. I also love the ambiance. Lots of comfortable seating are provided. The bathroom is clean. It's just a really chill spot to hang out at to relax, relieve some stress, etc. read more

My friends and I love this spot! We'll make our way down to San Bruno down from San Francisco just to hang out at this hookah spot. Everyone that works here is very nice and attentive. The shisha flavors are all really good and the hookah is always nice and smooth. The seats here are comfortable and the wall murals definitely show love to the Bay Area sports teams! We're here visiting from Los Angeles and decided to try a hookah lounge here in comparison to LA. The ambiance at this place is nice, but we found it weird that we need to pay for the hookah prior to sitting down. Any hookah lounge I've been to before works the other way around -- you sit, order and pay when you're done. We were happy to find somewhere that served Tangier's, but instantly regretted coming here. The hookah isn't good. We ordered peach, pineapus and cane. It didn't taste anything like any of these flavors. The hookah was so sweet that I got nauseous and we left shortly after. Wouldn't come here again, personally. read more

I'd rather go to 724 for a better atmosphere or waterfront if I'm going early! Regardless this spot is nice and kinda hard to find parking! Alam and his brother are very nice and respectful! They even have a PS4/5 for us to play fifa! They make great hookahs and the wait ain't long at All! If it wasn't for Clouds in millbrae or waterfront in foster city this place would be 5 stars as well however I can't give everyone five stars and I need to be as Sincere as any honest man can be! Cool thing about them is that they are very close to my favorite shawarma spot in the world the Lotus that Is! read more

The tea was served in a cut/molded glass pineapple shaped glass. Truly practical: good grip, less likely to slip. Uncommon, but attractive. I ordered the salmon wrapped in lavash bread, minus onions & mayo. I asked for hummus bi tahini instead. There was lettuce, cucumber, & unripe tomatoes (It's tomato season, folks, but most restaurant produce suppliers just sell for bulk, not necessarily peak/in season. That's a different, more costly supplier) inside the wrap, the char-grilled salmon just right. I'd say that even if I had eaten earlier. The salad was marinated (I think) red cabbage over lettuce, cukes, & pale tomato. The whole meal--no dessert--was really tasty and welcome. The staff was pleasant, the food was true to its eastern Mediterranean roots. While ostensibly Turkish, there were Armenian and Greek elements (erm, both done wrong by the Turks). Now this review might be a little long, but worth the read. First of all I never even heard of this place until I was recommended here by another hookah lounge in Hayward, I didn't understand why they would recommend us to another place however I am glad they did. We came on the weekend and it is a little pricey but well worth it. The owner actually works instead of just sitting there and is very friendly, I believe his name was Kesh. He explained to us that they use the best charcoal and tobacco that is available and continuously restock every week. He also said they give away free hookahs, which will deffinetly bring me back, because I do need a good hookah. Overall all it is a pretty chill place, I think they let you BYOB at times also which is good because everybody needs a occasional drink. Paradise and Waterfront are definitely my two new places. read more

This is a Great Place!! I've been coming here for the past year, and didn't even think about leaving a review. Just because from the first time I came I was treated with great Service. Hands down you won't regret this place has the atmosphere of all the occasions that you like in a week! They are open early in the morning , and have free WIFI , and nice hot drinks. Came here on there opening night, and boy do I regret it. Customer service was a bit slow, hookah was harsh after 10 min and when I asked to get it changed they told me i had to pay for another one. They crowd was very ghetto, it looked like they were all the owners friends. It was hard to tell who worked there and who didn't. If your in the area, save your money and take it to waterfront.
