I have been to hookah lounges all over the Bay Area and this one is amazing! I just found this place about two weeks ago, apparently they have only had the Hookah Loft open for a few months now so that makes sense as to why I only now found it but wow what a gem of a place! Tonight my husband and I finally had the time to try it out. The hookah selection was really nice, I had the lover boy mix which was traditional tasting with fruity notes and my husband had the California mix which was a mix of fruity and minty they both were really good and smooth. We sat out back on the patio and the ambiance was a relaxed feel, plenty of cozy seats, dimmed string lighting and cozy heat lamps which kept me toasty warm. The traditional music played in the background at just the right volume so we could actually talk and not have to yell like some hookah lounges which was perfect for us as we prefer a more relaxing mature vibe so this was just what we have been looking for! The owner and his son were welcoming and personal and chatted with us throughout our stay. Plus their service was top notch they were so attentive, which was really wonderful they checked in on us and refilled everything without having to ask at all which totally added to the overall relaxation and experience. We will definitely be back! If you're looking for a relaxed authentic vibe with great hookah, yummy snacks and exceptional service you have got to try out this wonderful family run spot spot you won't be disappointed it is a total gem! Hands down one of the best hookah spots I've been to -- and I don't say that lightly. We're serious hookah smokers (we literally have five hookahs at home), so we're picky about flavor, smoothness, and overall setup. And this place is simply the best. We also spent a full week in Dubai, mostly around Marina and JBR, trying some of the "best" hookah lounges there -- some charging around $200 -- and honestly, none of them matched the quality we got here. The flavor is rich, smooth, and stays consistent the whole session instead of dying out fast or getting harsh. The hookahs are premium Russian quality, with a clean pull and everything set up perfectly and maintained like it should be. And the sweets? Incredible. The baklava and desserts taste fresh and authentic -- easily some of the best I've had. Top it off with amazing customer service: attentive, fast with coal changes, friendly without hovering, and they genuinely care about your experience. The ambience is clean, cozy, and a whole vibe. I'm not really a hookah guy, but I thought I'd give it a shot. The place was pretty swanky with a more mature crowd (working professional). Low lighting and decent looking furniture probably helps with the feel. Long story short, I gave it a shot and was surprised I liked it. Staff seemed friendly to me and was pretty helpful for finding something I liked. I'd come back again with some friends. Things to note though: 2 per hookah max. Non-hookah participants have a cover charge (which I find reasonable if you're taking up a seat). Tea was a go-to drink for me, but they had other offerings including some dessert food. I got the chance to visit The Loft Hookah Cafe last weekend and Iet me just say I was so impressed!! We were greeted by the owner with so much warmth and hospitality. The space was very clean and inviting. The leather seats are super comfy too! The flavor menu and mixes all come from premium brands, which included my favorites (major ++). We received our hookahs rather quickly and were checked on frequently. The ventilation was perfect. From the first hit to the last the flavor and service was on point They had a live DJ there that night playing a good variety of music which made the overall experience even more enjoyable! This is a hidden gem - super cute heated patio setup with cozy seating and great service. Owners are so sweet. Highly recommend.

One of the worst hookah experiences I've had. We waited over 30 minutes and never received a hookah. When asking for recommendations the owners son says he doesn't even do hookah & is going off peoples opinions... When we finally asked what was going on, the excuse was that they were busy with a table before us even though that table was already seated and there was no one else there. Zero urgency and zero accountability. They also charged $5 for tea that tasted like straight hot water. No flavor at all and absolutely not worth the price. Overall just a complete waste of time and money. Terrible service and no reason to ever come back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Came here on a trip to the Bay Area visiting from Washington State and the place exceeded my expectations!! They had a plethora of hookah options, and allowed for substitutions if needed. The owners checked up on our group multiple times and allowed for song requests as well. The seating is super comfortable and the place is super clean- something that can surprisingly be rare at a hookah lounge. If you are visiting the Bay Area this place is a can't miss!!
