Review: Disappointing Experience Cost: $100 deposit + $380.07 on arrival Our experience here left much to be desired. Despite booking in advance and letting them know we had six guests, our section had insufficient seating, which was disappointing. It took nearly an hour after paying to receive our hookah, which seemed excessive considering the lounge wasn't too busy for a Friday night. And even then they don't let you turn the coals, and even then, the coals were switched out by the time we left. The final straw was when my friend was escorted out by security to the back alley for "staying too long in the bathroom," which felt excessive and unnecessary. Overall, this place failed to meet expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience. Other than that, the drinks the bartenders made were good, AMFs, Long Island, and Cranberry apple crowns were all good. Will not be coming back unfortunately especially with what we paid Edit: forgot to add, the DJ that night was playing clean songs at some points and was NOT taking song request. I feel embarrassed for suggesting this place. read more

First time doing bottle service here for a birthday and the place is pretty decent. Arrived on a Saturday and mind you we arrive by 11pm which the place was not so full until 12:30. The security here in my opinion were really nice and professional. One even offered bottle of water as we were heading out. As you enter, you'll arrive at the bar first and there's bottle service seatings on your left and also upstairs. Bottle prices are typical prices ofcourse but the big plus is the hookah they offer! The people there are nice as well and I have to say the ratio is really good. Very diverse and good crowd. I would definitely come back. read more

All except one staff member (not sure his role but very friendly Samoan/latino guy, he was the best) were rude and actually treated me human, you shouldn't walk into a place and greet them and be met with silent cross-armed stares and snarls your way from the bartenders and the workers. Anyway, also they threw a House of Balloons themed event based off of the Weeknd's music; let's just say if you like empty venues with random thrift store furniture, no ambient lighting at all, and maybe six Temu light up balloons sat on the tiny tiny tables, then this is the place for you. it was no sort of lighting or ambiance when I came in and looked like a weird warehouse, but even with the lights off and the bar lit up it was extremely dark and underwhelming... And I asked for a water at the bar and the bartender, I kid you not, stared into space for like 6 seconds before going ".....Yeah, yeah I can do that." Even weirder since there were only two other people at the bar, and both had drinks and weren't asking for anything/talking. Also you can't advertise some sort of craaaaazy Weeknd themed dance party and then play Drake. That's the wrong Canadian lightskin rapper, dawg. SO TRASHY. WORST SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE. SCAMMING. AND TRIFLING. I came here with my boyfriend and we were reluctant on staying because the vibes just weren't there but the dj insisted. however it wasn't the dj, he was cool, it was the overall service. We ordered a hookah and it took forever to come. Once it did come, it was taken straight to the back again, the dude came to us then turned around because the dj and his girlfriend had the bottlegirls do a promotion for them instead. Some weird cocky performance holding up a name board. The hookah never came back, the djs girlfriend even looked at us and knew what she was doing?? Once I told the bottle girls that we want a refund because we never got our hookah etc, this big bottle girl tried gaslighting us basically telling us that they came to the bar and we weren't there. No refund was made, instead the hookah had been left to burn in the back because some smart Alec decided to light it before even handing it to us. And to say that to my face even though this boy with the hookah saw us but then was directed by this promoter to go back to the back to put on a puppet show for them instead. It's one thing to lie and another to put the blame on us.. so classless. Shameless. Super tacky atmosphere, scamming as hell too. Should've just listened to my gut. Do not go to this club at all. My friend had a VIP Table here and invited me out to join her to celebrate her birthday; unfortunately I ended up standing outside for 50 minutes with people brushing up on me and cutting me in their so called VIP line. On top of everything the one security guard that was in charge kept letting people in he knew or giving side deals whatever ghetto stuff he had going on. Anyhow I didn't ever make it in and the vibe was hecca ghetto to begin with so good luck if you choose this club. You'll be disappointed. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

They are a great place for everybody! Reservations are always welcome on the phone or come in at the door and ask. Live DJ on stage, great vibes and atmosphere. They might have food you can ask, but it's a great spot to come in regardless. Should definitely come and check it out at least once regardless. read more

Idk who Biz Markie is with them tiny gold hoops in both his ears, but y'all need to hire respectful indoor security. He told us not to stand in the bottle girls way or on the stairs. So we moved to the bar then Biz Markie proceeded to come bother us flashing that light in our faces, and tell us that we cannot smoke in here while it's people who bought sections that are smoking blunts? So in the end he just was looking for a reason to throw somebody out. Biz Markie even cowered over my friend while I moved her away from him. He kept lunging at her. Real feminine and not securing a damn thing. That was just my first impression tho. The other security guard that was bald said if we have any other problems with him, to come to him. He is the only inside security that listened to us. While Biz Markie was flashing that light all night. In the end Biz Markie don't get paid enough to be lunging at females with them 2 gold hoops. I came to 1217 Lounge on a Thursday evening after having dinner nearby. A colleague of mine told me about it and recommended I check it out. I got there around 8pm and there was a good crown for a Thursday. The venue itself looks great, with plenty of space and seating. I went to this club and the security at the door was so rude so disrespectful he was letting in all the people that had bought a table and neglected the general admission side for over 45 minutes and literally out of his own mouth said he was just worried about getting money. Didn't even acknowledge our side for a long time. I never even got inside the club because how he was speaking to his customers did not make me feel safe at all. It was very unprofessional. I'm a security guard and I have been for a long time so I know how you post to move a situation like that I'm not saying supposed it's speak but there are better ways to talk to people And I hope that whoever is a manager either get somebody else to be at that door or has a very long serious conversation with who was at the door and I mean the two black men that were at the door were being rude to the customers and being bullies.
