I went back to Reformateur to buy a cashmere sweater, and once again, the experience was downright miserable. The sales staff are haughty, icy, and make it painfully clear they have no interest in helping you. Their attitude is cold and dismissive, as if doing their job--or offering the slightest bit of service--is beneath them. For the outrageous prices this brand charges, you'd expect courtesy, professionalism, and real customer care. Instead, you walk into a boutique where you feel unwelcome, ignored, and treated with arrogance. The staff are absolutely not up to the standard of the clothes or the prices. Unfortunately did not have a good experience here. Super cute clothes and very clean but I work at the hospital up the block, I came in my scrubs and obviously looking very tired after my shift but wanted to treat myself. I felt because I wasn't dressed up, none of the women in the store greeted me but clearly saw me and the store wasn't even busy. It was something i noticed but didn't bother me too much in the moment. As i continued to browse other people walked in and they greeted them and asked if they could help them out with anything. No one asked me if I needed help or anything even after passing by me and making eye contact, again maybe a few people in the store but not busy or crowded. I felt unwelcomed and honestly judged. A very uncomfortable experience which is unfortunate because i did want to purchase a few items but decided not to after feeling the way I did. I feel this staff only pays attention to a certain type of people who are basically looking like their aesthetic and it's very disappointing. Terrible customer service. I called the Fillmore location asking if they had any jobs available. I was slapped with a few seconds of silence then she hung up. I tried calling back multiple times and was hit with the voicemail every time. Not surprised that a lot of people complain about the poor customer service. I really loved my experience here. The dressing rooms were dope! They have little iPads with all their inventory where you can select pieces you want to try and they will bring them to you! Walked around the store and made eye contact with two different sales associates, no greeting, no inquiries. A white woman walks in - gets greeted and asked to be helped. Repeat. The same white woman gets asked 2 min later if she can be helped. Meanwhile, me, an Asian woman.... Might as well have been invisible. You're in SF. Beautiful, clean, aesthetic in-store feel. I went with in feeling almost at my wits end- trying to find a gift for my mom.... and I came out with two beautiful and unique pieces! The service at this location is very hit or miss. It's usually pretty bad, but today I actually had a great experience and found the new sales associates friendly and helpful. What's frustrating is the total lack of sizes and styles. This is the fourth time I've visited this location and found a bunch of stuff I like only for them to not have my size in anything. They seem to always be sold out of the middle sizes (sizes 6-8 and mediums). It's also a shame so many great pieces are only available in black or white in store while colors are online. It feels like this location has become a place for testing sizes, and they expect customers to purchase the color they actually want online.. but if that's the case, please stock all sizes! read more

don't waste your time. Waiting 45 minutes for a dressing room is ridiculous. we watched a total of 20 people walk out in seven minutes with money in hand waiting to spend. Because of covid they are only letting 4 people in the store at a time. I waited 35 minutes with my boyfriend to be let into the store. We had a lunch reservation so I was rushing and quickly tried on clothes. Once I finished trying things on my boyfriend let me know I still had some time left, so I started browsing again and was going to try on jeans. We had been in the store probably 8 minutes total and an employee came up to me and said "hi are you looking for anything specific?" And I said "nope just looking around!" And she said "well just so you know we have other customers waiting outside." UM EXCUSE ME? I would have said something to her but I was so taken aback. I had been waiting so long for my turn and then was being rushed out of the store. As I was leaving I told another employee what happened and she just said "sorry have a nice day!" Had an awful experience here. Waited 30 minutes for a dressing room only to have them tell me after waiting that I had been "bumped from the list". They then gave the items I had asked to try on to another customer. After finally getting into a dressing room, not one of the dresses I tried on was in a size I asked for. I went into the store 90% sure of the dress I wanted to purchase and just needed to confirm which size fit best and left never wanting to shop at Reformation again. I was so excited to finally visit a brick and mortar store for the first time on Oct 4th and I was really disappointed. I was met with two employees who barely looked up from their phones. I was half heartedly greeted after saying hi myself, neither one engaged with me, i had to repeat myself several times when asking questions, when i would get a response it was one word, and they were so stuck starring at their phones and not looking at me that they didn't see me finally just leave. Poor return policy. In store purchases would not refund your money to your original payment method. Which means once you give them your money, they never come back. The staff is super hit or miss. I love reformation and I live super close to the Fillmore location. I was super excited to be so close but the staff is unfortunately not the best. I've gone in a few times which is why I'm writing a review. I feel that it's a consistently bad shopping experience. They can be very rude and short. I get it's a high end(ish) establishment but I think they take it a bit too far. I want to support the brand but some of the girls working there make going in an uncomfortable experience. This place is fantastic. The clothes are beautiful and the shopping experience is cutting edge, seamless, and hard to beat. Instead of selecting clothes from a rack and trying them on like you normally do, you pick out the clothes you like and one of the employees sets up a room for you. All requests can be made via touch screen iPad such that you never have to leave the room and you can select different lighting to match your clothes. The store and dressing rooms in particular are gorgeous and really spacious. The customer service is impeccable as you're addressed by your first name and the checkout process is very quick. The clothes are really expensive though! Also no full refunds but 14 day eligibility for store credit. read more

Oh mannn, the girl at the cash register looked like she hated her job so much and couldn't wait to quit. I was really excited to visit the store in-person as I usually just shop online, but was very disappointed. The customer service is awful. Once I walked in, I wasn't even greeted by the cashier even though there were only 2 customers in the store. She barely  looked away from her phone when I asked for help and reluctantly assisted me in returning something. (Girl, if you are not a people person you should definitely not be working in sales/customer service). The clothes selection was OK, not as large as I would have expected but you can try on some of the clothes so you get an idea of what size will work for you when you shop online. Also, the brand is on the pricey side $$$, a regular, Forever 21-looking sundress will cost over $200, so be mindful of that before making the trip to check out the store. read more

Officially the stupidest and most inefficient way to set up dressing rooms. It's set up as a show room, so the bulk of the stock is downstairs. Fine, nbd. However they make you wait when there are empty rooms because they're supposedly being held for people who are "coming back"rather than letting people who are physically waiting and willing to purchase items right then and there. All in all, don't waste your time or effort here for staff who are too busy being "hipster, sustainable cool" and less focused on actually delivering decent service. I rarrrrrely give a low review but I was so surprised by my recent experience at this Fillmore location that I had to add a yelp review. I bought a sweater a few weeks ago which ended up being itchy and I wanted to return it- it's made in China (which they later told me that they have partnerships with certain "sustainable" overseas manufacturers) , and poorly made, unlike a lot of the other items I have bought from this amazing brand. I saw in fine print that you can get a full refund if unworn within 14 days. Wrong! Be careful of their return policy- exchanges Only. That's okay- pretty strict, but okay. It was the attitude of the 3 women in the store that evening which amazed me- not in a good way. I came in and said hello! They did not even make eye contact or smile. Maybe they all had a disagreement or something before I walked in, but it was cold, to say the least. I was so surprised. Anyways, just wanted to share since customer service these days is very important as more and more people are starting to buy items online. Really fun and easy store to shop in! When you walk in, you go to a big touch screen and scroll through the products listed on the website. When you choose a size and a style and add it to your cart, you have effectively started your "dressing room". This means that the items in your cart will be brought up to you in person and placed in a physical changing room when you are ready to try on items. There are only one or two physical items for you to look at in the store in person, but they have all the sizes you need downstairs and will bring them up to you. In the changing room, if you don't like the sizes or want something else, you have your own personal tablet that you can use to add more items to your cart. Someone will bring up these new items to you really quickly. This is a very efficient store and it's really cool to see the convergence between tech and brick and mortar functioning in harmony! read more
