Bison Stuffed Tortellini
Sebastian B.

What a fantastic place!!! I popped into Branding Iron around 4:30 on a Tuesday and there were lots of folks. I thought I was in between the lunch and dinner crowd and was surprised to see lots of people. This is a sign of a great place to The server and bartender were both really nice which adds to the home feeling you get from the truly "Wyoming" vibe. I went with the tortellini not only for the filling but the awesome creamy pesto sauce. And the cowboy bites are clever and tasty. The sauce that came with them was outstanding. Overall this is a must visits place in Casper Wyoming.

Tried something new on a short trip to Casper. The ambience was cool and the place had a nice vibe, but overall the food was just okay. I was especially disappointed with the bison stuffed tortellini -- both the presentation and the flavor fell short of expectations. Serving it in what looked like a mixing bowl felt tacky and didn't do the dish any favors. On a positive note, the server was friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the atmosphere, so it'll probably be a pass for me next time.

Absolutely loved it! We were visiting Casper and yelped places to eat... so glad we did. Cute atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food!! We have zero complaints and will definitely be back again.

Appetizers!

My son and I went for dinner. We got cowboy bites and fried green tomatoes, they were awesome. We also got the Nashville chicken sandwich w/ pork belly mac n cheese, and the Kona burger with curly fries. The burger was awesome, nice and juicy, with a lot of different flavors. The curly fries looked like it was the bottom of the bag...a lot of small pieces. Every one that he picked up that was actually curled he was like mom look at this one. The Mac n cheese wasn't anything special and there wasn't a lot of pork belly on top. The chicken sandwich was good...i felt like i got gypped on the coleslaw, and maybe could have used some sauce of some sort. On the other hand our waitress was SUPER attentive and VERY nice. No complaints at all there. Really enjoyed the ambiance and like how the bar and eating area for family is separated. Restaurant was clean.

Pretty window mural

Tried this place after the first lunch spot we wanted to go to was nonexistent. Really glad we ended up here, 10/10 would do again and recommend to a friend. We're a party of six, started with steak bites, and cheese curds both great. For lunch we had the Philly, Milwaukee, Lobough, and one of the chicken sandwiches. Everyone really liked their food. Server was great, and the place was cute modern enough to be cozy with a rustic charm.

Cobb Salad was seriously poor, but the manager came and got us fixed up!

This rating is for a poor experience at lunch where the manager stepped in and made it right! 4 of us from work, different orders and one came out not good, we made a complaint to the waitress and the manager came over, she recognized he mistake and made it all right, highly appreciated!

Buffalo burger (they were kind enough to split it for us)

We stopped here during happy hour and we are happy we did. We shared two appetizers, a buffalo burger and two drinks. All were wonderful. The jalapeño poppers where delicious because you can tell they used fresh jalapeños and the buffalo burger had nice flavor too. I also had the prickly pear margarita and it was a generous amount. I would definitely stop by here again for dinner but also for happy hour. Our server was nice too. Happy hour is everyday 2-6pm (1/2 off for apps, beer/wine and we'll drinks)

Very first time I've ever been to the branding iron. Good restaurant got some good high-quality meat there I got some bison and yak and some all-around good burgers. I of course I always ask what the waiter or waitress recommend and this time I went with one of theirs. Very good delicious. We had a big group and our waitress used on top of everything made sure we had everything we need. No back up no problem. The ambience in the building was very good. They also have outside seating but inside it was good low music behind you because you have a great conversation with your group and what not. All in all I highly recommend this if you're looking for something different.

We love coming here for burgers and cheese curds. Delicious. It's located in the heart of downtown.

Always a consistent place to have a nice dinner in Casper. Staff is always amazing and friendly…read moreand you can't beat the warm, inviting atmosphere. Great place for a night out with someone or a business lunch or dinner. Food is always on point.

Back again for a large 21 person dinner…read more Used the big private room that for some reason didn't have proper air conditioning so they improvised with a fan. The room was noticeably hotter than the rest of the restaurant. Service was a touch slow as they only assigned one server to our group. Which was weird. We had to serve our own win a few times. One salad showed up notably later than everyone else's appetizers. I had the French onion soup which is not salty (a common issue with many Steakhouse French onion soups). However, I was a little disappointed that the cheese was not melted as a complete lid on top of the soup but instead was floating in the soup. That makes a big difference. Also had the bone in ribeye as I usually do. It was cooked perfectly inside however it lacked the char that they were able to accomplish in previous times. I've been here. The fully loaded baked potato was nice and delicious. Also had party style appetizers, which included a cheese, charcuterie, board, stuffed mushroom caps, and shrimp that was seasoned with old Bay seasoning. The shrimp was interesting, and the individual pieces were very large. The mushroom caps were not bad and also large.
