    Appetizers!

My son and I went for dinner. We got cowboy bites and fried green tomatoes, they were awesome. We also got the Nashville chicken sandwich w/ pork belly mac n cheese, and the Kona burger with curly fries. The burger was awesome, nice and juicy, with a lot of different flavors. The curly fries looked like it was the bottom of the bag...a lot of small pieces. Every one that he picked up that was actually curled he was like mom look at this one. The Mac n cheese wasn't anything special and there wasn't a lot of pork belly on top. The chicken sandwich was good...i felt like i got gypped on the coleslaw, and maybe could have used some sauce of some sort. On the other hand our waitress was SUPER attentive and VERY nice. No complaints at all there. Really enjoyed the ambiance and like how the bar and eating area for family is separated. Restaurant was clean.

Cobb Salad was seriously poor, but the manager came and got us fixed up!

This rating is for a poor experience at lunch where the manager stepped in and made it right! 4 of us from work, different orders and one came out not good, we made a complaint to the waitress and the manager came over, she recognized he mistake and made it all right, highly appreciated!

Very first time I've ever been to the branding iron. Good restaurant got some good high-quality meat there I got some bison and yak and some all-around good burgers. I of course I always ask what the waiter or waitress recommend and this time I went with one of theirs. Very good delicious. We had a big group and our waitress used on top of everything made sure we had everything we need. No back up no problem. The ambience in the building was very good. They also have outside seating but inside it was good low music behind you because you have a great conversation with your group and what not. All in all I highly recommend this if you're looking for something different.

I came here tonight while staying overnight in Cheyenne WY...I was in the mood for a steak and looked this place up. Sat down looked at the menu no steak! The pictures on Yelp show a steak and so I was looking forward to that. Nope not anymore or maybe a special so a little disappointed to start. Inside this place is really cool and inside an old building with modern vibes to it. They have really nice bar area as well but I sat in the restaurant area. Another thing on this night the place wasn't busy at all with lots of seating options and the hostess sits me literally right next to a lady with her small kids maybe 10-12" of separation. I have my own kids and they are grown but these kids were very hyper and kinda felt bad but not what I wanted to deal with while trying to enjoy my food. For food I started with the green chili it was just ok and to be honest way too many raw onions on top. Wasn't my favorite, but the grilled tortillas on the side were a nice touch. For dinner since no steak I had the burger with fried jalapeños, guacamole and bacon. This was a very good burger with great flavors and finally a burger perfectly cooked. Overall 4 star experience.

Buffalo burger (they were kind enough to split it for us)

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was exceptionally at explaining the menu and making recommendations. The food was amazing. The presentation was excellent and serving size was large. Definitely got our money worth. My husband is already planning his next visit. Would highly recommend.

It's taking me a while to finally review for Wyoming Ale works. Mainly because I had such varied…read moreexperiences the first couple years that I went there. They've also changed their menu quite a few times since inception. First off it's a beautiful restaurant with a nice large parking lot and you'll be seated by a hostess on either the dining room side or the large bar/dining area on the other half of the restaurant. There's many large comfortable booths to sit in unless you want a table which there's plenty of too. Also high top tables for 4/6/8 available on the bar side or you can just sit at the very large bar that's three sided with 60 seats. The bar side is full of TVs. And generally has music videos as well as sports on. After getting seated by your hostess, expect you will get a great experience from your server as they take pride in training their staff very well here and I've never had a bad experience with a server in probably 20/25 visits here. The menu is a little all over the place now there are some interesting and tasty appetizers. The cheese logs and the fried green tomatoes seem to be most people's favorite appetizers. The chicken wings are pretty good though there are limited flavors available. They do an amazing happy hour menu with great appetizer deals as well as good drink deals if you have the opportunity to stop in during this time of day. I think where they shine is with their burgers. I've had some very delicious burgers there. I've also had good Italian type food with their rigatoni , manicotti and their Stromboli's. Their pizza used to be really excellent. And now it's a little hit and miss depending on which type you get. They have their own woodfired pizza Grill, which has the potential to make amazing crust. However, they tend to get ratios of cheese and meats a little off sometimes. The bison chili and the duck gumbo are both pretty good. It's not traditional Cajun gumbo but it's still a pretty delicious soup. I've had a few bad soups here, including the beer cheese and some of the other cheese soups, which were not completely cooked down and were gritty with flour base still noticeable. The fried fish is also a stand out dish that they do. And a lot of people really like their steaks and steak salad. Overall, this is a great place to bring your family or a large group of friends or even a elegant birthday party. You know you'll get taken really good care of and other than it's more on the expensive side you know exactly what you're gonna get every time highly recommended and if you're getting a cocktail, I recommend the huckleberry Mojito. Recommended.
