We were in Casper for a day and found the Branding Iron while checking out the area. A quick glance at the menu had us excited to give it a try! We started with fried pickles, clearly made and battered in house. They were hot and delicious! The burger selection here was diverse and full of interesting choices. The burgers were juicy, piled with toppings, and fresh. This is a very nice modern, but rustic restaurant, with a great menu. Our servers weren't super attentive even though there were only a few tables while we were there. Food was easily 5/5, service 3.5/5 read more

Whoever is cooking, the food is putting way too much salt on everything. We could barely eat it.

This place was alright. The drinks were nah for me. I had a pricky pear margarita which tasted like pure gatorade, the food was average the French dip was good. My husband had the burger which he said was delicious. read more

This place is soooo good!! We stopped here on our way home from Yellowstone National Park and it exceeded our expectations! The menu is diverse and both myself and my boyfriend loved our choices. He ordered the Star Yak burger and I ordered the Baja burger switched in bison patty vs the beef it originally comes with and wow 10/10! Not to mention the sweet potato fries I ordered are the BEST I've ever had! Our server Kim was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable - great customer service!! I'm still eating in the restaurant right now as I'm writing this review, considering getting their milkshake to go, I'm assuming it will also be delicious! read more

I came back here three years later and it's still good! Great burgers, great shakes, great fries. This time I had the Milwaukee burger with a bison patty and sweet potato fries, and had a chocolate shake. (I tasted the blueberry shake and it was good too.) my mom said the Anchorage, which is a lettuce wrapped salmon patty, was amazing. Definitely worth a stop when you're in Casper! read more

HAVE AGAIN: Yellowstone bison burger and curly fries were most satisfying. Great service.

Great location, great food, great service. The front of the place is nondescript, however once you walk in, you enter an nicely appointed interior. The service was great, and they were kind enough to customize a sandwich into a off-menu BLT that tasted great. If we ever return to Casper we will visit again. read more

The perfect hamburger. I usually don't order hamburgers, cause nobody makes them as well as I do at home. But this burger was something special. Excellent and friendly service as well. read more

Lowering my review. Place used to have excellent service. Now it's hit or miss. Tonight was a grouchy person who was rude... I showed up 20 minutes before closing and ordered my food ahead so as not to annoy the kitchen. Bartender though, was annoyed I ordered a beverage at the bar even though there were 2 other parties and still 20m to close. We all left at closing time (I'm sure they got his gtfo vibe too). Of course I still tipped him $2 for my one drink plus tipped 20% on my to-go order. Sigh. I really wanted to keep liking this place--have been coming here for years but it's noticeably gone downhill as each experience here is just a bit worse.... read more

Very disappointed with the "New" menu ! New meaning a 20%- 30% price increases & no more happy hour 1/2 off appetizers.....

Clean please and really friendly staff. I ordered the Milwaukee bison burger with Mac and cheese. The burger was really tender and well cooked. The Mac and cheese was kind of bland and milky. It wasn't super cheesy but the pork belly was crisp and added a nice touch. I'd recommend trying this place! read more

My husband and I stopped here during a road trip and were super disappointed. Unfortunately the menus listed here on Yelp are not updated. I was very excited for the Fried Avocado & Cheese Curds, but turns out they don't have them anymore. As an appetizer, we ordered the Poutine and it was the grossest Poutine we've ever had. Our burgers were extremely overcooked. We both ordered our burgers Medium and they were very well done. To the point that they were hard to eat. I ordered the Kona burger and I can tell it would have been really good if it was cooked correctly. I plan to recreate at home and cook correctly. read more

Visiting here as we were passing through. Great food and excellent service! Alexia was a fantastic server. We had a great chat time and food was delicious, even the children's menu was diverse and tasty! read more

My burger was top notch and the service was excellent. Will recommend to anyone. Ready for my next trip back there

Where to start? Awful food, room temperature white wine, and more staff just standing around doing absolutely nothing than I have ever seen in a restaurant. Ordered the LA chicken sandwich and the chicken was overdone and basically rubber. Bacon was burned and obviously old. Every one's food was cold but no one's wine was. Our poor server was running everywhere trying to serve drinks and food and got NO help from 3 women standing 4 feet away at the host station doing absolutely nothing. This place definitely needs better management. Haven't eaten here in a while but we were meeting another couple for dinner, one of whom works downtown, so we decided to meet here. Big mistake. Will not be giving them another chance. read more

Loved the look of the restaurant inside and out, the service was amazing and the food was worth the visit. We were passing through and found this place on yelp and had to try it and it did not disappoint. I had apple salad with Salmon and the salmon was cooked perfectly. There Bison burger is the bomb! & there Sweet Potato Fries are just as Good! All of that in a meal!!!

Jalapeno Poppers were great, the best part of our meal, actually! Green chili was underwhelming. Our server was attentive, but some of our order wasn't correct when it arrived to the table. read more

I ordered the fish and chips with a side of curly fries and was pleasantly surprised by the serving size. The pieces of fish were large and crisp, perfect with the tartar sauce. The curly fries were nicely seasoned and came with ranch. The service was just okay, but I'd come back again to try the other things on their menu. They also have happy hour so I'll have to check that out sometime! read more

The food was okay. The server recommended the French Dip. The meat lacked taste and it was super dry. Next time I think I'll try a burger that seems to be their thing. It was a little tricky finding the place since their sign says BI. Guess it's an insider thing. ‍ read more

Really good burgers and some great local beers. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Great spot for travelers to grab lunch right at the beginning of the downtown Cody area. Lots of tv's in the bar area for sports and a very "modern western" feel. I'll be back after we move out here read more

Had lunch there this week. Service was 5 star. Food was very good too. I would absolutely recommend this place when in Casper.

Beers were cold and the food tasty. I added bacon to the Yellowstone burger - a bison patty with pepper jack cheese, Cajun mayo, and served on a potato bun. read more

Don't let the front of this place deter you from eating there. Once inside you find an eclectic restaurant with fast, attentive service. They have a fairly extensive and varied menu and the food is as good as you get. It's an easy storefront to pass by but persevere and enjoy the experience! read more

While passing through the 25, we made a stop in Casper for a late lunch. Shoulda come between 2-5pm for Happy Hour, where you get 50% off on apps, beers, etc. Tuesdays, kids eat free with an adult entree. Anyways.... I decided on the Saigon burger and swapped out the jalapeño buns for potato buns. This was definitely a Korean inspired flavor. It was a hair spicy. The curry bbq sauce was unique. Meat was cooked to perfection! Hubs is on Keto diet so they accommodated his salmon salad and wagyu burger accordingly. However, they ran out of wagyu beef and gave him the bison instead which was awesome!! Kids got the sliders and Casper burger. Not a drop of the burger was left. They overdo it with the fries tho, even on kids meals. Kids meal comes with a drink :) all was good and yummy. The chicken wings were a bit over cooked, this dry. The teriyaki flavor helped but the tangy sauce threw me off. Not the typical teriyaki flavor I'm used to. The shrimp and corn chowder was also something of a surprise and not a great one. I've always thought of chowder as a creamy soup. Their version is filled with spices, minced meat, and 4 pieces of super tasty shrimp. I enjoyed the shrimp in it but didn't care for the rest. It was more like lots of food of similar consistency, thrown in a processor along with broth and 4 pieces of shrimp. Others may love it, I just didn't. The service however was great! Loved my waiter! My water was always filled and he tried his best to make sure we were happy. He did offer to take off the soup when I told him of my disdain. 10% off military discount is always a nice touch, too. read more

Man, I really wanted to try this place. Walked in, waited 5 min at the front and left. With all the waiters and waitresses bussing around, and even 3 that were standing within 5 ft of me, no one gave me any mind. So we didn't read very well and got the pork Mac n cheese without realizing it's pepper Jack cheese. We are total spice wussies and without hesitation, our server brought us the kid Mac version! That's the kind of service that gets repeat customers. Kudos, Angela, kudos! read more

Branding Iron - The Atlanta Sammy. Good choice. Pork Mac n cheese, weird taste and weird spice couldn't place it. Didn't even take it to go - American Near Me - Casper, Wyoming

Great burger selection. Shame is every time I come here my burger is extremely well done. Why ask how I want it cooked, I like mine pink in the middle or medium. I don't know anyone that enjoys it so overcooked it's almost jerky. Never had a single complaint beside that. I keep trying and stay hopeful. Fix that issue and hands down best burger in town. Until then mediocre at best. read more

Everyone very friendly. Fried green tomatoes good, yak burger solid. Reasonably priced spot downtown

I wish I could give this a zero star. The experience was awful the service was horrible. The food took forever we asked for ranch and a Dr Pepper never brought it to us!! They weren't busy at all there was 4 tables that was it!! Our green chilli fries came out soggy like they were in the warmer forever!! The bartender was awful we asked for the kahula shake and they brought us back an iced vodka and milk!! And finally after thirty minutes we got another drink!! Do not recommend this place at all!! Nobody deserves that of shitty service!! read more

My husband and I tried to have a meal at this place. The service is abysmal. The bartended was incredibly rude. We placed our order. It took 25 min for my husband to receive his beer. The waitress asked us "what are you doing?" And we said we were waiting on our burgers. She then came back and said that one burger had been made but they forgot the other one. She assured us they were working on the meal at that point. She never checked on us again. After waiting over an hour we paid for the beer and left. I did ask to speak to the manager and all she had to say was a sarcastic, "sorry" Don't waste your time with this place! We won't be back! read more
