They renovated the playground area. It's much nicer than before. it has swings, slides, climbing structures (even a rope one!) and a spinning platform. The little kids enjoy the frog that sprays water. There is a public restroom next to the playground so you don't have to drag the little ones too far to use it. The rest of the park has some reservable picnic table areas with BBQs. You'll find 2 tennis courts way in the back, and also a horseshoe pit. Sometimes you'll see people playing volleyball at the sand volleyball court. There is a path that makes a loop around the park. People like to use it to walk or run laps. There is a pond that used to be filled with an unnatural blue color water. This would attract Candadian Geese to the park and they made a big mess pooping all over the park. There was a time when it got so bad that you could not safely stroll along the walkway without running into geese poop. Trying to avoid these land mines is not a fun way to enjoy the park. They've since turned off the water features and the geese no longer plague the park. The park is definitely much cleaner now. There is a small parking lot by the playground and also street parking along the street that leads up to the parking lot. The parking lot dead ends, but they have designed a roundish area at the end -- this area is not designated for parking in -- at the end to help you make a u-turn to drive back out. Great playground that was remodeled not too long ago. I'm always on the search for playgrounds that are completely padded with the soft squishy turf so was happy to find out about this place! I also like that they have a Magic Mountain- style slide that is on top of a padded/turfed mountain. There are swings, including one for those with disabilities, a huge ropes course structure, smaller toddler structure, and some instruments as well. There is a huge huge sand pit off to the side that is set up for beach volleyball, along with a huge grassy field and lots of shaded picnic tables. There's also a frog water structure that isn't on at the moment. Bathrooms are currently available as well. read more

This is such a fun park! My son loves it, there are two huge hills to run up with all sorts of climbable obstacles. He loves playing in the water by the turtle area, making music with the various instruments and wondering around the pond. It is such a great place to get his energy out and the other kids are generally very friendly and make friends for the hour or two we are there. I like it because you don't have to worry about sand or tanbark which makes the ride home nice and clean! It's a great park for littles and also bigger kids- since the equipment has a good variety to it! read more

Love taking my dog to walk and play here! Great park with big grassy areas, plenty of shade, really cool playground, bathrooms, picnic areas with grills and tennis courts. I've seen a lot of people having birthday celebrations and parties in the picnic areas. There's area for a pond, but it hasn't been filled with water any time I've been. It's not near any major streets, so it feels safe and quiet. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking along the road to enter the lot. read more

This playground has lots of parking, spacious, and clean bathrooms! There is a separate small slide and a large slide. Also a climbing rope structure with a couple swings. You can definitely be here for an hour or more. There's table to have lunch and sidewalks to ride your bike. My toddler stays busy at this park, would recommend paying a visit. read more

Came here as a spur of the moment to eat some takeout after realizing that the restaurant wasn't open for dining in. This is a great park for kids as there is a nice play area for them to run around. There's also a lot of shaded picnic tables and seems to be a popular place for birthday parties as two were going on, while we were there. Ive been coming here to Braly Park ever since I was a little kid. I actually still live across from this park. I had tons of memories here and still remains here. I have been having soo many parties for years here, and it never gets boring. You can tell this park is just right for parties period. There are perfect bench seating around the park. The only problem would have to be reserving early in the mornings for the spots you want. The park is kept clean because there is daily truck that maintains the trash around the picnic areas. I enjoy the people around here. It is full of diversity too which is amazing. Most hispanics love coming here to party every weekend. The sounds of loud music, loud people, that fresh scent of trees, and bbq in the summertime just gets people around the neighborhood in the mood for picnics. This will always be my choice of parks no matter what. I will come back for more BBQ's! read more

Rather large park if walk around the school premises in addition to the park. Twilight evening stroll.... so nice. Desi grandparents sitting on park benches, all chatting. Children playing soccer... other families on the swings... little creek and aesthetically-pleasing bridge. Perfect little place to be for 15-20 mins. Like Sunnyvale parks. Well manicured and well tended. No doubt, well utilized, judging from how many peeps were out too. Great simple experience. Love it. read more

I love this park. Has a green frog that showers kids with water....just enough to cool off but not too much to consider it a major water feature. The frog is semi-enclosed by a wall of smooth stone which houses a "water-way" for froggy water run-off to a part of the MASSIVE SAND BOX/AREA. This makes it fun for little ones to create "water trails, pools" and makes the sand awesome for sand castles etc. The sand lot is really huge and has poles set up for folks who want to bring a net for volleyball or tether ball. There are are I believe 5 seperate playground structures.... each one seems modeled to cater to a certain age group...but thats just my opinion. Ex: one structure's slides are very wide and so low to the ground that i think it was made with young toddlers in mind so they dont fall off the slide whereas another structure has typical slides for the older toddlers/young kids (you know, slides like the ones if you let your toddler down, she/he can face plant if you're not careful) One structure is small and cute with a bus theme. And there's even another sandbox, that has a boat theme and even a little boat structure providing a little shade for a little group of kids. There is a lot of swings for older kids, i've never taken the time to count. There's also a swing area specific for babies (only 3 at a time though). Contrary to what other reviews say, I would say there is tons of shade.... just not covering the playground structures. There are tons of huge trees that provide awesome shade all around the park. Even the huge sitting area that is conveniently located next to the sandbox and bus feature, has so much shade there. Not too far off from this, are a couple picnic tables propped on a little hill, making for a nice sunny picnic. And a few meters away from these tables are a couple non-reserveable picnic tables and small bbq stand. These particular tables always have shade and are close enought to the main park features that parents can sit back here, have a a bbq, and still have a safe eye view of the park and of their kids. Also would like to mention that the trees branches are so large and offer such a vast amount of space that even if a party was already at teh tables you could conviently lay out a blanket style picnic under the shade and still have a feeling of privacy. Immediate to this area is a HUUUUUUUUUUGE lawn that has 3(maybe 4) reserveable picnic/bbq areas on its outskirts. I would highly recommend getting reserving a spot closest to the tennis courts as this area has shade ALL DAY LONG no matter what time of year or what time of day. downside to the reserveable tables is that there a fair distance from the bathrooms (esp when you are picnicing with alcohol, lol.) Note: next to the tennis courts is a horse shoe pit. Adjacent to the park (on the elementary school property) are basketball courts and another huge field with track...of course, as a reminder to you silly people out there, this area is only accessible outside of school hours (duh!) I held my son's 1 year bday here, and we frequent this park so much. i love it. read more

This is not a great park when defined by its water feature. A green frog in the middle awaits children, but the volume of water is pitiful. A lawn water extension puts out more water than this frog. To cap our experience, a lovely soiled diaper awaited us, sitting, staring, unattended. It was quite a task keeping the little ones from the diaper run off. Otherwise, the playground is nicely large, if completely without shade. Tons of swings, good structure variety. Overall this park is better for older kids rather than little ones given its lack of shade. Probably won't come back again. read more

Braly Park was recently renovated. There are a lot of padded ground for toddlers, climbing structure, swings, slides, merry go round, a small playground for ages 2-5 yrs and another playground for orders kids. Also, they have a water sprinkler (from a frog) and sand area. Love that there is a changing station in the bathrooms. read more

Wonderful place for a family picnic! There is play area for big kids with slides and bridges, swings & sandbox and small slides for small kids! Very nice pathway to have a morning and evening walk for parents and everyone! There is special a play area for toddler with letter and numbers revolving and a small pony to ride on. There is water splash done by a big green frog which is usual favorite of all kids There are lot of picnic and BBQ spots and also lot of benches to sit! Very green area with lot of trees and a wonderful place to play soccer , football, baseball or cricket . There are 2 tennis court for the tennis lovers to play or learn tennis! Not to forget there is a very nice hall for celebrating any occasion and you have 2 big rest rooms each for men and women. read more

I don't know why it's happening for us, but every time we visited that park (3 times in the last 2 months), my son got sick with allergies. They don't restrict the dogs to specific areas and the owners let the dogs pee in the places where visitors sit when they come for picnics. When kids play in those areas unknowingly, they can easily get sick. Can someone in the parks departments take steps to restrict the dog peeing areas in the park, before more kids get sick??? read more

Braly is a great place to go when you want to hang out with your special someone/friends/family/etc. The first time I came here I was amazed with the palm trees, the water fountain, the bridge, and well, basically everything about this place caught my eye. I'm celebrating my birthday here and I can't wait for my family to see what a great place it is. I've worked out here, chilled here, and brought my family over. Honestly, it isn't the same anymore though because the pond, fountain isn't filled with water anymore... Hopefully before my birthday comes the water will be back, I just hope everything goes the way I want it to be. Braly is always filled with very many people and pets as well. I've walked my aunt's dog here when I was taking care of her and she loved it, I use to let her run loose and she would just smell at the grass and play around. I wouldn't recommend coming here at night unless you are with a group of people because stuff usually goes down here at Braly. One time my boyfriend and I were chillin here and this big fight broke out and cops came, it was terrible.
