    Looking at other dogs

This review is for the dog park only. The actual park is definitely 5 stars. We went to go get some coffee and needed a place for the dogs to play. First off this is a place for people who live in the many condos and apartments nearby. It's another dog park designed by non dog owners. There's a big sign asking you to pick up after your dog,but no poopie bags are available. Also no water or shade.(There's a water fountain near the public bathroom) There's a big and small dog side. The only positive is the surface is made of hard clay. It helps to reduce the smell, and it's very dog friendly. We stayed for a bit then took the dogs for a walk around the park. There's a nice paved walkway around the park. Also plenty of green grass in the center of the park. We did let the dogs walk on the grass and nobody cared. We kept them on their leashes.

This kid playground is very nice and clean. My family and I walked around it for five rounds after lunch, and then my daughter had a great time playing for an hour. There's a parking lot and bathrooms. There's a designated area for small dogs weighing 25 pounds or less. Absolutely loved the weather in Sunnyvale is beautiful and sunny.

This local neighborhood park/playground by the Redwood Place luxury apartments in Sunnyvale is perfect for a good lunch break and short stroll. Public restrooms are very clean and well maintained. Parking lot is small, but can fit over 30 cars. You can have a great small picnic or do a BBQ onsite where there's BBQ pits if you make the effort. Not sure if you need reservations though. No signs yet. It's an open public community park. I saw a ping pong table tennis near the lunch area. The entire neighborhood is lovely and great for photos. I'm sure it gets crowded during weekends, but weekdays are beautiful and calm. Small, but very peaceful for those who can wander around here during a 1-2 hours lunch break. Redwood Place market cafe is just across the street if you want to grab something yummy to enjoy. Lots of new modern luxury homes are built all around the area. Tall trees really help in this very sunny part of Sunnyvale. Pet friendly. There's a small designation section for pets or you can just walk it around. I like it very much. Kids playground is absolutely amazing. Looks fun. They really did a good job here for children. Enjoy a quick stop if you can. If you work nearby, this is the perfect place to unwind before returning to work in the afternoon. Gorgeous environment all around. Yes, it's not cheap to rent a place around here, but it can be just as enjoyable for a casual sunny day outside.

Pretty new all-inclusive playground located in an area with numerous apartment complexes. I loved the unique climbing structures, that even entertained me as I chased my toddler around ! The belt ramp up to the tunnel slide was fun as well. Lots of ropes to climb, bridges to traverse, and things to spin along the main structure. Tons of slides along a grassy hill, similar to how they do slides at Magical bridge. There are baby swings, regular swings, a saucer swing, and spinning buckets and other spinning things I'm not sure what to call! There's also a little hut that you can spin, or kids can spin from the inside as well. No sand area or water features. I liked that the park was relatively shaded the whole morning. Huge grassy field to run around in, along with a path around the field. There's two small dog parks, demarcated by less than or greater than 25 lbs. There's a lovely picnic area with grills and ping pong tables in the Redwood Groves. Bathrooms available (though no changing table), and water fountain/refill area. Small parking lot but plenty of street parking along the field

This is a great, new, medium sized park. There is a big lawn where people were playing touch football. There is a walking path around it where a lot of people were getting their steps in including yours truly. A very cool playground filled with kids yelling and laughing. All in all, it made for a lovely idyllic California evening.

Place is huge. So many things to climb

What a nice big new park! Spring break so I'm trying to take my kids to all these new parks here around the Bay Area. They do have a small parking lot but I'm sure it can get busy especially during the weekends. They do have some street parking as well. The his park is seriously nice and huge. Great for every age even adults! A lot of places to swing and climb. It's also an all inclusive park. Nice huge area to run around with grass. They do have a dog area too! Nice clean bathrooms. What I like about this park is that there's plenty of shade and benches to sit. The area the park is in is by residential and i think some small shops. This place is def going to be a regular in our park book!

Bayland Park Trail -- A Perfect Random Family Adventure…read more Sometimes the best family outings are the ones you don't really plan. We took the family out for a random weekend adventure after doing a scavenger hunt at the D&D Garden, and decided to check out Bayland Park Trail. Honestly, it ended up being such a nice little stop! The trail gave us a chance to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and just spend some quality time together. The kids especially enjoyed seeing the boat planes coming through, and we spotted quite a bit of wildlife along the way, which made the experience even better. It's not necessarily about doing something huge or spending a ton of money. Sometimes just getting the family outside, exploring somewhere new, and making those random memories is what makes a weekend great. Definitely a nice family-friendly spot if you're looking for something relaxing, outdoorsy, and a little different. We had a great time just being together and enjoying the unexpected sights along the trail.

Be advised that a lot of the benches have spider webs and moss so be prepared to wear jeans that you can throw in the wash! Pro: Bathrooms! Not just port u potties. This park also has dirt trails for running XC that is flat with rolling hills. Overall, this is a beautiful venue for a cross country race!

They renovated the playground area. It's much nicer than before. it has swings, slides, climbing…read morestructures (even a rope one!) and a spinning platform. The little kids enjoy the frog that sprays water. There is a public restroom next to the playground so you don't have to drag the little ones too far to use it. The rest of the park has some reservable picnic table areas with BBQs. You'll find 2 tennis courts way in the back, and also a horseshoe pit. Sometimes you'll see people playing volleyball at the sand volleyball court. There is a path that makes a loop around the park. People like to use it to walk or run laps. There is a pond that used to be filled with an unnatural blue color water. This would attract Candadian Geese to the park and they made a big mess pooping all over the park. There was a time when it got so bad that you could not safely stroll along the walkway without running into geese poop. Trying to avoid these land mines is not a fun way to enjoy the park. They've since turned off the water features and the geese no longer plague the park. The park is definitely much cleaner now. There is a small parking lot by the playground and also street parking along the street that leads up to the parking lot. The parking lot dead ends, but they have designed a roundish area at the end -- this area is not designated for parking in -- at the end to help you make a u-turn to drive back out. Sometimes it is difficult to make this u-turn when people park in this area. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=a3c15emWpHiehs81jdgHHw&userid=isQotFiKU_S_TI4Qt4MtMQ https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7OFU_4ZnZNDS9b1LMP3QtQ&userid=isQotFiKU_S_TI4Qt4MtMQ https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rxdAa2RDw46kCSADO9H7hQ&userid=isQotFiKU_S_TI4Qt4MtMQ .
