I've reviewed this on Google but somehow never made it to Yelp. My husband brought his car over here today for his pulsing brakes (and I always bring my car here as well). Though he had to get both done for an expensive amount, the service is definitely worth the price! They do apply veteran discounts, as well as coupons related to brakes, so that's something to keep in mind if you need a lot of work if you travel like we do. The service is always top notch as they inspect everything, and the customer care is pretty awesome. Stephen did a great job despite the store being busy at opening times. Our only complaint is that phone calls to us don't go through, but it's to do with T-Mobile automatically marking this business as spam and not at all the fault of the company. My husband's car runs like a dream now, and we'll definitely continue returning. We've never had problems any time we've been here. read more

Scheduled my wife an oil change on her new vehicle, she went on her own since I was at work, they treated my wife fantastic, they didn't take advantage of her for being a female and didn't attempt to up-sale her on something she didn't need. Been bringing my cars here for a few years. Affordable and do requests if it's simple enough like replacing the seatbelt guide. Fixed my blinker, window when it got stuck down and the ac blower in my car. Recently brought it in because my transmission was acting weird and they went a few steps extra for me and wrote down the codes, recommended a few places that work on them. Even cut the bill in half because they couldn't do anything about it after diagnosis. Funny enough when I picked up my car all the codes were gone and it drove fine for a few days but it started acting up again (not their fault) but hope it's just a solenoid or a bad wire cuz any transmission work is worth more than the car. Will be using them until they give me a reason not too. read more

I stopped here for wheel alignment. The staff was friendly and courteous. The bathroom was very clean as well. Those things are great, however. I still had slight pull on my truck after leaving the shop. And after 140k miles, I know when something is off. Their alignment job made it much better than it was, but it wasn't perfect. So, for that, I'd knock a star off. The reason for my two star review is because they didn't tighten the lug nuts on my truck. I was rotating my tires a couple weeks after the alignment job, to realize that only two lug nuts were properly tightened per tire. The rest broke free without any pressure. The weight of my socket and 1/2" breaker bar "broke" one of the lugs loose. I understand everyone doesn't use a torque wrench on everything they tighten up.", especially homeowners or DIY guys. However, a real mechanic torques everything. Not sure who is worked on my truck, but they weren't a mechanic. So, if this is the only shop that can do your work. Make sure you check they tightened everything. read more

My "regular" mechanic services my car and told me I only had 15% brake life left and need to replace them ASAP, at the cost of $550. I went to Brakes Plus for a second opinion. THANK GOODNESS! The general manager after doing a free inspection, where they put my car on the rack and removed all four tires, came to my asking why i believe I needed new brakes? I explained what I was told. The GM then proceeded to show me that no, I do NOT NEED BRAKES, in fact I have at least 30,000 miles left on my brake pads and to don't waste my money. Wow!! They have won me over as a customer!!! I have had a truck for my company worked on at this location and exclusively have only had them work on my truck for all of its mechanical issues. I recently took my vehicle in because it was drifting in the lanes and had an issue with the front end. Upon the recommendation I replaced the power steering gearbox and the idler arm. Not once did they check to verify that they had mounted my tires properly back to the car and as I was driving down the road one of my rims came loose took it back in because I thought maybe it was an issue with the tire or something along that lines they had informed me during the oil change that to the rim was loose and not tight to the car. They apparently tightened the rim back up and snapped off one of the lug studs and and didn't even tell me about it. I would have literally paid them to fix it right then and there so that I wouldn't have to take my truck in for another appointment not to mention I don't feel like I can trust this location to work on my car because they obviously don't verify when they're doing inspections that the tires are properly mounted to the vehicle! Use this location at your own risk it is very apparent that the employees here do not care about their jobs. Update took truck to different mechanical shop and they found that the Lugnuts were still loose on both front tires so even when I took it in complaining of a noise in the front end and an oil change the Lugnuts were loose after they checked. Now mind you this was the last shop that worked on it I had them replace the power steering gearbox the idler arm and complained of the front and having a drift and to figure out what was going on with it so that it drove more smoothly they came back to me and said the only thing they could find was the power steering gearbox and idler arm and replace them. During this appointment they also did a wheel alignment so at this point I've had you do several services to the front end and nobody inspected it to make sure the Lugnuts were tight, not just on one trip but multiple trips to this shop. Way to put my life in danger. My wife has reached out to their generic response and has yet to get anybody to call us back! read more

They inspected the brakes and said I had another 20 thousand miles before they would need to be replaced. Not only that but the tech spotted an oil leak that the car company may fix under warranty. My husband took my car in for what we thought was just a regular brake change. To our surprise both front and back breaks needed to be done but most importantly my calipers were seized. My husband told him we couldn't afford to get it all done right now because we live paycheck to paycheck. They were able to give us discounts so we were able to afford it. I checked a couple of businesses with my service concerns. Some can do it at your home but I felt their ability would be limited at a remote location. I knew I had a sticking brake pad but due to my age/health issues, this is the first repair I didn't do since 1965. My brakes needed to be cleaned, lubed and flushed. That is really labor intensive, so most likely the best solution is a full brake job. I purchased my 2014 Navigator 4X4 in 2013. Currently it has 071,250 miles on the factory pads. Brakes Plus in Maricopa, Arizona fully understood what I needed. As per my request, they kept my old brake pads for my inspection. When the job was completed, they showed me the pads. All of us were surprised that at least 60% of the factory pads were remaining. Yes, I get 25+ MPG on the highways doing the posted speed limit + I look forward to judge delays, traffic lights and adjust my speed. I was very pleased with their workmanship. When I picked my vehicle up, they got my wife's car, 2014 MKZH for the same issues. Her pads at 050,300 miles had 50+ % of her factory pads remaining. New pads, calipers cleaned/lubed & flushed. As to the cost, I felt it was reasonable as I knew the labor involved. Brake Plus has their rates listed in their office. If there was a problem with the rotors, brake lines, bearings the cost would increase. My projects were serviced professionally and done right. We'll return soon for transmission fluid/filter changes. read more

Went in for an oil change and a tire rotation however when I got home the tire that usually deflates was still on the same side so thats how i knew they didnt rotate it, now im doubting if they even did an oil change with synthetic oil lol!?! New customers, avoid this place for an oil change! I brought my car for a simple oil change soon after; my oil started to leak oil. My car has never leaked oil, and it was the first time bring my car to brake plus. So the next day, I decided to bring it in again so they could fix it. However, the next day my car was leaking more oil than before after they had said they had fixed the leak. read more

First timer at brake plus, I can't even consider a 4 or 5 star. The reason I gave a 3 is that there customer service make you feel welcome. Although they have great customer service, I have to wait for 3-4 hours for a oil change because they do not keep my oil filter in stock. I don't drive a fancy special vehicle it is a Chevy. What I don't understand is that, you provide oil changes as a service why would you not carry a oil filter for such a basic vehicle. Bring your vehicle here for the customer service but beware good chance they don't carry your part in stock for a basic vehicle. They will have to go to "auto zone" to get your part. Unacceptable!! read more

Since my husband passed away in 2019 breaks plus has been very kind in helping me with my suburban. Their price is fair and the customer service is the best in the area. I was a walk-in and got quick service all things considered. Despite being a new business, they have seasoned pros working the counter that will do you right and the bill will be what was promised. They are very thorough and will not try to load you down with anything you don't need. I came in expecting for an oil change like I usually get, long waiting times, especially for them to get it done. Was expecting to pay around $70 up since my car takes full synthetic oil and the other places have always charged me that much b/c of other extra fees and labor. Plus I will not name names but the other place would always try to convince me to get this or that done in top my oil change b/c I needed it or it was overdue. Well, I was tired from the heat so forgot to get the guy's name but I gave him my $7 off coupon and he said they had a $10 one so he applied that instead. My appointment was at 4pm, I came in at 3:45pm. Waited a few minutes while he helped the couple in front of me. Then when it was my turn, he took down some info, collected my keys at 3:57 and at 4:30 I was told my car was good to go! They topped off my fluids, checked my brakes, aired up my tires (1 really needed a bit of air, so glad I decided to wait instead of paying for air at Fry's when I went to get gas!), and did an general maintenance inspection! Was told my car was in good shape and I was good to go, paid $58 for all that and I am very happy and impressed! Will return again and definitely recommend them, great customer service and just great job in general! I was relieved that the price was what it should be instead of a surprise every time I get an oil change. Now I'm ready to go on my road trip read more
