I had been to 2 other shops for my wife's 12-year-old Mercedes AC issue. It was diagnosed in an hour and price given for OEM or aftermarket parts/repair. Was traveling a long way away from home and can't recommend these guys more. No idea how they get so many cars in and out of the shop in a day but this is an efficient operation to say the least. I had an issue that was time sensitive on a road trip and messaged them late afternoon, they looked at it next morning. Took my truck into Firestone and they said the oil pressure switch that Bo Knows said was the source of the leak and charged me $383 to replace is not new and is original to the car. They sent over a pic and is giving me back the original sensor (picture posted). I will be charging back through my credit card company. Looks like Bo Knows Scamming. read more

I called Bo Knows Auto to ask about warranty on work on an engine that overheated and ruined the motor three months after they had done a full rebuild. I made the mistake of paying cash because they gave me a 10% discount. Surprise, surprise, they couldn't find my records and pretended to not even know who I was. Bo Knows Auto is a complete scam and rip-off. Whatever you do, use a credit card when you pay them, or they will pretend like they never met you. read more

Nightmare!!! Overcharged and was super rude to a senior lady. Quoted $430 went to $1200 without approval. A young man there gave her an in-person quote of $430 to replace the power steering box and she bought the power steering box. He called and said she needed some more lines. He text it was ready and when she got there, there was a $1200 plus bill on the seat of her 99 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pick up. She asked him what the $1200 bill was for and he started raising his voice to her for asking what her charges were. His GF or worker videoed it. She is on a fixed income and explained to him beforehand to let her know the charges as they went. She got there he said he put on a hydra boost and didn't need a power steering pump. She asked what a hydra boost was and he wouldn't answer. Said he explained on the phone. She told him she needs to know what shes paying for and started crying because he said he just wanted her to pay the bill and never see her again. He ended up only charging her $600 but I hope no one else has to go through this. Unfortunately, her son was out of town and I don't think she would have been treated that way had a man been with her. read more

Bo knows auto went above and beyond. I'm in town house shopping before I move in two months. I was planning on leaving Sunday when on Saturday my truck broke down. I called and told them the situation and they said bring it in even though they were fully booked and they'd see what they could do. Unfortunately they had to over night parts but as soon as they were in Monday they got to my truck and sent me on my way. Very friendly, quick, fair priced and went above and beyond for me. We just moved to Maricopa. My husband is from AZ, and I am from Oregon. Our truck broke down before he had a work trip he had to leave on. Knowing no one, we went here because it was close. Immediately we were greeted by kind staff, they took the truck and got back to us with a quote within 24 hours. The truck was done and fixed up within a couple days from drop off. The quote was very reasonable for the work needing done. They were honest and upfront. With COVID happening, it took a week to get my wife's car in for a check. The Temp Sensor was acting up and the 2007 Chev Impala was telling me that it was overheating. Rich checked it out and said all that was needed was for the coolant system to be bled of excess air and all was good. He then checked the A/C unit to make sure it was good as it struggles on the really hot days to keep the interior cool. I went to pick it up that day and when I asked what the bill was, Rich said nothing...thats right, nothing. Had window tinting done on my son's car...fantastic job at a reasonable price!

I had used them before and was happy with their work, scheduled major repair, Engine oil leak, brake work and install AC system. Had car 3 weeks and work not complete. Left car with them for 6 week while I was out of state. Car was not done when I returned.Picked car up at end of week brake work still not completed, Engine still leaking oil after being charged for removal and complete reseal. Brought car back when I came back to town to repair Engine oil leaks, fix brakes and repair faulty wiring(A/C install). Car was not done when it should have been. When finally picked up car is still leaking oil. Did I mention steering column left loose, scratches in paint and grease in interior? I won't be back to let them damage my car anymore, just out thousands of dollars for nothing done right. read more

The first time I went, everyone was really nice and fixed an issue I was having with my car, which I had been having for a long while. I was actually very impressed with their service that, when the check engine came back on three days later I wanted to take my car back to them to have it looked at again. I called the morning of Wednesday to ask if it was okay to take my car back knowing they are busy, and the owner said it was fine to do so. My dad, who is going through radiation for cancer, had to also miss a whole day of work, to take my car because my work place was not approving my time off. The whole day went by and there was no update. And then the store closed. So I spent all evening worrying about whether my car was okay or not. I called the next morning at 8:20am to be told my car was first in line and I would be getting a call shortly in regard to what was wrong. I knew they were busy so I didn't want to keep calling. Big mistake. I leave work early, to drive from Scottsdale to Maricopa, to get there at 5:35pm, to overhear the mechanic whisper to the owner that something wasn't even started on yet when he asked him to pull my car out to the front, to then be told by Rich that it's too generic of a code. They couldn't diagnose what was the actual matter with my car. A complete automechanic shop that was unable to even tell what part of the car was working. My car sat there for two days, with no update at all from anyone at the store, other than when I called Wednesday afternoon to be told my car was still #14 in line, for it to be kept over night, and all of next day, to then be told that they didn't know how to fix my car and that they would have just gone into it to replace everything which would range from 2-3k. I didn't realise they would jump right into fixing things without even figuring out what was causing the issue in the first place. What an unbearable let down. Even the franchise mechanics didn't let me down as badly as Bo 'knows'. They straight up didn't 'know' what was wrong with my car. read more
