However, the best part was that after I left, the mechanic called me to tell me that there was a spot of something left on the ground where the car had been parked while I paid for the service. Sure enough, the coolant was leaking out of the radiator. This was not the fault of Meineke because they were not near that part of the car. When I took it back the next morning, the coolant was almost gone. They gave me a new radiator cap (the old wrong was broke and letting coolant out). I would have been in a bad state had I not been warned before hand what was happening.

Staff told me after the change gravity used the rest and they refilled it I've never heard that before. Cost almost a thousand and now it will cost more to have the radiator flushed again at a different shop because I don't trust the work. On the inspection I was told I need 4k in repairs and my tire was loose . I took it to another shop and they found a bolt that was hand tightened and stripped out , my wheel was close to falling off and was lucky I took it to them . They replaced the bolt and my steering is fine . I'm super upset this wasn't caught by midas and was told I needed thousands in repairs .

My car is only 9 years old and there's nothing special about my mirror other than being able to electronically change the angle of the mirror (no cameras, no lights, no heating, etc). Basically, it should be a cheap mirror. Then riddle me this: what costs $983.16 not including any else, literally nothing else, not the labor, not the tax, nothing? That's right! A door mirror from this place. They were going to charge me a grand total of $1,233.43. I went to another place a short drive away and they charged me a much more reasonable price of a few bucks short of $450 for the part and replacement. Absolutely no reason for a basic mirror replacement to cost me almost as much as a rent payment. It could be a supplier thing but if the other place I went to was able to get the part for $300 there's no reason this place shouldn't be able to. Absolute rip off.

The car began to lose power even as the engine revved higher. I just was barely able to limp home at 20 mph . After discovering the leak, and fixing it, I added trans fluid to the fill line and the car seemed to drive normally. However, I couldn't be sure whether damage had occurred to the transmission. I called several transmission repair facilities and picked AC Transmissions on Federal Blvd. I spoke with Chris S., one of the shop owners. He was an excellent source of information and courtesy. The AC shop provided an inspection of the transmission free of charge, then told me that they found no damage and that the car's transmission was fine. There was absolutely no charge. Based on my interaction with AC Transmissions, I believe them to be honest and fair. As I understand it, two of the repair technicians have each at least 35 years of experience repairing transmissions. Thank you, AC Transmissions ! I would recommend these guys any day of the year.
