I am a national supporter of Big O across many states. Realize the simplicity and auto-generated nature of the 5 star reviews here. I gave this Big O two chances to do what they promised: same-day service. Both times the promise came directly from Todd. * Visit 1: Promised one-day. It took four days. No proactive updates. I had to chase them. * Visit 2: Again promised one-day. Later I was told "we actually can't take you in." That's two strikes. And as the saying goes, three strikes and you're out--but honestly, I'm already out. If a shop can't meet its own timeline twice in a row or the quality most Big O locations offer, the problem isn't my expectations; it's their scheduling, communication, and quality. read more

Spent 3 days and $7k only to have them put the wrong rotors on my truck causing them to crack and nearly cause an rollover. Also when replacing my ball joints, they knocked the caps for my universal joints off making steering almost impossible. Sincerely consider if your life is worth their service. read more

Went in the shop to remove and replace a lock key lug nuts. Didn't have the key. Broden was very helpful in removing these and replacing with my own supplied key lug nuts. Also gave me a free tool to check tire tread! Very nice and helpful experience. read more

They treated me well when I stopped in to have a low tire checked. Didn't find a puncture and filled all tires, no charge. Seems like a trustworthy place to shop, next time I need to! read more

I was hesitant to take my vehicle in for passenger side grinding noise from front brake. Perfect brakes just new grinding issue. (No bueno). I agreed to new caliper and rotor even though rotor wasn't bad. They were afraid of rust. 700.00 and few hour later I left shop with no brakes due to the failure bleeding brakes. Plus my brake icon on dash board is lit up red as my face. I can't even list there excuses. It's illigal to leave a 67 yr old like such. I'm going after there certificate and the bbb. first I'm going back and talk to the manager see if they make good. read more

Went in for simple leaky tire but they fixed it extremely quickly. The staff was super friendly too.

I have been a customer at this location for decades. However, since Chris has allowed his staff to run the business it has been a huge disappointment. An appointment is made for an oil change for 8:00 A.M. and was still noted for an all day drop off by Matt. It makes no sense, I always waited for the oil change, and it would cost $50.00 to go back anf forth to retrieve my vehicle. This has happened more than once. I was told to make another appointment and come back the following Monday. I will never go back. The store is no longer, warm, clean, and welcoming. read more

Big O Tires went above and beyond to fix my granddaughter's car. The engine fans were dying so they had to order the part. My granddaughter and her twin sister were planning to drive to Las Angeles the next morning so their trip was going to be delayed. The people at Big O went out of their way to get the part and install it the same day. We got a call after their closing time telling us it was ready and could be picked up first thing in the morning so my granddaughters could leave for their trip as planned. Terrible customer service. I took my car here for a simple oil change and left with more problems to my car than when I arrived. My tire pressure gage did not work when they returned my car. Upon taking it back they recommended I drive another 10-15 miles and it would re-set. It did not and dealing with this issue with them has been a nightmare. I went into big O tires on 25 April and they diagnosed my problem and said it would be fixed and charge me $408. The problem was not fixed. I expressed my concern to Ian via assistant manager, the official managers name is Jake nevertheless I expressed my concerns to Ian that the truck was not fixed and he said I had to pay $408 for the repairs which I paid. They did replace a shock that was under warranty that they originally told me was the issue, and that that was the squeaking noise nevertheless, I expressed my concerns to Ian and his face turned red and he would not look at me again at that point. I was concerned that I was getting ripped off nevertheless I did get ripped off now. The truck is in worse shape then it was before I took it in there there again I explained everything to Ian and he denied everything I said when I confronted him on the issue, his face turned red and he never looked me in the face again but still collected $408. I have filed a complaint with the big O corporation, and my complaint number is 583639 I wish to file a complaint on Google and Big O and Facebook and every place else that I can file a complaint and if they repair the problem that was originally diagnosed I will erase all reviews but until then I've been ripped off $408 and I am 100% completely dissatisfied with Big O after 30 years of being a loyal customer Please be aware of your surroundings because I've just been ripped off today and it cost me $408. Makes me sad.!!! read more

I went in to get my tires rotated and two new sensors put into my tires. The truck was in there for 2 hours, so I called to see when it would be done, and the dude on the phone didn't even know he was suppose to put in sensors. He then told me I can head that way and it'll be done in 5 minutes. (I was told at the counter sensors take about 35-45 mins). I then go pick up the truck and was told the sensors will kick in once I drive a few miles. They never did. With that being said, they did spend 55 minutes again taking the broken sensors they installed, out, and gave me a full refund of the $155.00. (This is the only reason I gave them 3 stars) they are a tire place though and should have tire sensors figured out you'd think. I then took the truck to Discount Tire, was in and out within 40 minutes and it only cost me $89.00 You decide..... read more

Big O has lost a lifetime customer. I have always used my local Big O, but today they lost me as a customer forever. I've bought at least 5-6 sets of tires here over the years. I took my vehicles (Kia's) for oil changes here faithfully. I always took my own Kia Oil filter and crush washer so as not to void the Kia warranty for engine oil. Today they refused my request, or were going to charge 50% higher labor for using my oil filter. Unreasonable. I was doing business here when Keith was the sole worker in the store. Then Chris came in and took over. All went well. Then new shop manager today and no Chris. Going to give me grief, and argue with me.. Well, that's the last visit to this shop, and after 25 years, I am very sad. But Foundation Kia is right down the street, and they now will forever get my business. Sorry Big O, your team blew it, and will not be coming back. My money spends just as good elsewhere, where the customer comes first. read more

Previously purchased tires here and had oil changes done with positive experiences. Recently I was experiencing a misfire and after conducting a fair amount of research I had a feeling the my plugs and wires needed to be replaced. I dropped my vehicle off, and after a few hours, the folks at Big O gave me their assessment and informed me that in addition to the plugs and wires, multiple components needed replacing to correct the misfire. Their price quote seemed quite high so I told them I was going to seek a second opinion. At this point Big O stated that they had already replaced my spark plugs and therefore they would need to charge me for their labor and diagnosis. I never authorized this labor and repair and was shocked. The clerk apologized but said there simply nothing he could do since they already changed out the plugs. The next day I brought my vehicle to another mechanic who quickly and kindly indicated that only my wires needed to be replaced. He replaced the wires for a fraction of the cost of what Big O charged me for replacing the plugs. My 4Runner is now running better than ever and I will never go to Big O again. read more

We have taken our cars here for years! But after my most recent experience I sadly can't trust them anymore. Took my car in for an oil change and to have a flat repaired. They called and told me my power steering was leaking badly, was very near breaking, and they could repair it for $1600. I took it to my regular auto mechanic today, who checked out the power steering.....there is nothing wrong with it. I'm so disappointed. Unfortunately this wasn't the first problem we've had with them in the last year or so but this was it. Just beware of what you're told.... read more

These guys are always helpful and willing to look at a flat tire whenever you show up. I have never had to wait very long for any service and I even try from the city to go to this Big O. They are always friendly and will discuss the options you have to fix your car. Plenty of bottled water, and a gas station next door if you need anything more. read more

I usually love my little specialty independant shop when I need car care, but after the snow and ice descended upon us earlier in the week and I sent my car sliding sideways into a curb I knew I needed tires fast... like 'the next day I have off of work' fast, and my usual shop is too small to even try to get in that quickly on a weekend. So friday evening, I devised a plan; I was going to wake up early and make it to the closest big tire shop to beat the crowds. The fact that these guys open at 7AM gave me the confidence I needed. Well, it seems a LOT of people had a similar week to me and when I showed up the place was packed. Even so, there was no wait to speak to a service advisor who was actually really helpful when it came to picking out my tires. Even though it was blatantly obvious by the condition of my barely-existing tires and the sound of desperation in my voice that I don't know anything about how to even maintain the usefulness of tires, much less what to look for in them, I was gently led through my options and asked about any particular qualities I was after. In what was perhaps the most astounding customer service interaction I've had in quite a while, a phone call came in and the caller was put on hold until he was finished with me, the guy in the store, instead of trying to do two things at once. I appreciated that. Because they were having a promotion, I was able to put much nicer tires on my car than I have in a very long time for about what I was looking to spend. I actually feel like I got a really good deal, and I was totally shopping in panic-mode at the time. I could have very easily have been taken advantage of. I have no experience with other Big O Tires, but the bad experiences I've had at other "tire centers" left a poor impression and gave me pause when I was looking for places to take my car in to for tires today. Today's visit was the least painful emergency spending of hundreds of dollars that I have had to do in a long time and I will most likely be back in the future for other business. read more

The manager Chris authorized not only the price match through the awesome front desk staff Batista, but went further to get me an even better price. They were fast and efficient, and super-friendly. Excellent service and well priced. I bought some used wheels which had some corrosion on the inner lip. They polished them down and added sealant when putting winter tires on them, no extra charge other than the very-fair winter swap fee. I've now used them 3 times and definitely recommend them. read more

We dropped our car off at 3:30 for a quick flat fix. After waiting over 2 hours they told us, right at 6pm... when them and every other service place is closing that they cannot fix it. Total waste of our time. Also cost us an entire day and nights inconvenience because they timed us out on the 20 other service places nearby that could have fixed it. Time to put these guys on the mat. I got a flat yesterday on my way to a meeting downtown and after a long debacle with changing the tire, googled the nearest Tire repair place. BigO Tires was the one that came up. I will admit, my experience with Big O Tires as a organization is hit and miss. Sometimes awesome, sometimes not as much. This time, job well done. Nick greeted me at the door (literally meeting me at the door), grabbed the tire i was hauling in, and told me they "would take care of it". I sat down and picked up a magazine but before I was able to finish the first article the tire was fixed, spare in the trunk and keys in my hand. All for $15 too - I'll take that any day. On January 22, 2015 my husband (Kerry) was driving the Dodge Charger to work and noticed that it was driving a little differently. He was maybe 10 minutes away and pulled over and noticed that the same tire was going flat. He was able to put his spare on and drove to another tire; once they opened they were able to help him. They said that the tire did not have a nail it, but that his rim was cracked and that is what caused him to have a flat tire. He then called Big O at 10:22AM - and asked to speak to Chris the manager; He was told that Chris was in a meeting. Kerry then explained to whom answered the phone about what was going on with our tire and that they cracked our rim. The person who answered the phone said that Chris will call him back. Kerry called again at 1:30PM - was told that Chris was still in a meeting. Throughout the day we were getting different tires put on the Charger. At 3:04PM - Kerry received a phone call from Big O, stating that Chris is not back yet and that he will call Kerry tomorrow morning. After I got off work at 5:00PM, Kerry and I went to another tire store and they showed us were the rim was cracked. They explained that if the rim was cracked when the tires where placed on, that over time the tire could have been leaking. (See pictures 1 & 2) Blake from another tire store explained to us how they remove tires from large rims like we have on the Charger. He explained that the crack could have possibly happened when they were taken the tire off or when they were handling the rim. On January 23, 2015 - we have not yet heard from Chris from Big O, therefore Kerry called them at 12:36PM. He was able to speak with Chris and expressed to him how displeased he was with the service and that they cracked the rim. Chris came across like it didn't matter and that he could care less what we were going through. Kerry told Chris that we will be by after I got off work to show him the rim. Around 4:45PM, Kerry and I showed up at Big O and Chris walked outside to meet us. We showed him the rim and where it was cracked, he then took a few pictures of it. He explained that he had two different workers sign off that they did a leak test on all the tires. We told Chris that we just want a full refund of the tires we purchased from them and then we can wipe our hands clean of them. He didn't say anything at that point. We then said that if we do not hear from him in a week's time then we will have no choice but to go to court. At that point we left and headed home. Kerry called a local customize rim shop, that are "experts" at large rim tires. He was told that a lot of the big named stores do not know how to properly remove tires from the larger wheels, and they cause damage to them as an end result. He said that a cracked could have been caused by the rim being dropped or was handled by someone that does not know how to handle the rim properly. Kerry asked if that shop has heard of Big O or other large tire stores causing damage to large rims; he said that they get a car in his shop about once a month with damage from shops not knowing how to handle a large rim. Within less than one month's time we have had two damaged tires and one damaged rim after Big O worked on our car; and we are out over $800 total. read more
