Definitely one of the best cookies I have had in LA - the red velvet, sea salt Nutella and most importantly the banana bread is DELICIOUS! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch cookie is yummy too. However, the Peanut Butter Jelly one was disappointing- something about it was off and unfortunately I couldn't finish it because it was definitely not worth the calories. I wish I had heeded the advice of a previous poster. The pb&j cookie is more like a soft biscuit. And as I chew, I can feel the grit of what I can only describe as an undercooked cookie. Similar to cookie dough. The thickness of the cookies is off putting, but even the chocolate sea salt is a mound of dough. Sadly it doesn't look like the warm, brown, thinner cookie that is pictured here on yelp. I'm going to put these in the oven, but I'm not even sure if that would fix this. Wow, I just had Brady's Bakery for the first time and it's delicious! Lots of people wonder where the name Brady's Bakery comes from and, believe it or not, it's the name of the owner's dog. But what people really want from Brady's Bakery is the cookies! The owner Reece is so friendly and always happy to educate customers on all of the different varieties that he has to offer. I was lucky enough to try multiple different types from the Jimmy- their ramped up version of the traditional snickerdoodle to the Brady- a chocolate peanut butter cookie coated in cinnamon rice cereal. They were both soft and flavorful but my absolute favorite thing wasn't a cookie at all, it was their bread pudding! The flavors are out of this world and it was so fresh and moist! Right now Brady's Bakery is an online bakery and often available at certain pop up locations around town often including the Melrose Trading Post on Sunday's. While I am saddened to say Brady's isn't it, I have been excessively/thoroughly impressed with the other cookie offerings. - My Big Fat Greek Cookie: Spectacular. A honey, walnut and oat cookie base and greek yogurt cream cheese+cherry filling. The various flavors and textures here work together beautifully--one of the best cookies I have consumed this year. - Sea Salt Chocolate Chip: Disappointing. If you do not mind a hefty smack of cinnamon in your chocolate chip cookie, you may adore this cookie but as a CC cookie purist, I found the cinnamon distracting. - OMFG: Delicious brown sugar cookie base with a generous Nutella filling. Although it's texturally monotone (soft/gooey), I have zero complaints. My second favorite of the bunch. - Cookies and cream: While the Oreo bits may contribute to a drier texture, the melty white chocolate chips help provide balance and a pop of brightness. Overall, third. - Southern Belle: A bit too dry and flaky for my liking (partly due to the pecans, but they are non-negotiable) with a powerful punch of cinnamon. Cinnamon here is a bit overwhelming. I ordered from Uber eats. Kind of irrelevant but I did not have the experience of going into the store. I got the Nutella one, Oreo and traditional sprinkles. So...If you have any sensitivity to salt, this is not the place for your cookie cravings. It's not so salty, but you can taste the salt in all the cookies. Which I don't like at all. The cookies are pretty thick as well. Cake like. I wasn't a fan of the Nutella I love Nutella and it has more chocolate undertones. Also the white chocolate in the ores overpowered any Oreo taste at all. The original tastes like butter, sugar and salt. But.... often for our random weeknight sweet treat splurge we will order dessert through doordash...or pickup Crumbl. Tonight we decided to try Bradys. Living in Mar Vista/Venice we knew that it was going to be a little of a trek for the (because 5 miles in LA is like 45 minutes...obviously), but I still had high hopes. What arrived just seemed like cookies that had been pre-packaged and sat around for a day or two. Just barely above grocery store texture and quality. Just very brittle/crumbly, dry and almost stale. Its just a bummer because it sounds like these cookies are normally great. I have been remiss in writing this review. I just noticed that Brady's doesn't have a full 5 stars, so I'm going to assume not very smart people have been writing reviews of Brady's. Either that or ones who have had their taste buds removed. I'm going to be brief: don't be stupid, Brady's is insanely good. Also, cannabis is legal in California. Let's just say your entire body will thank you if you order Brady's. You can order door dash (have done), but honestly you get them freaking fresh if you go to the location by USC. Wanna give this place a 1-star review because it has ruined all other cookies for me now... These voluptuous cookies are everything! Had to share some cookies with a few friends in order to try several flavors because these cookies are thicc. The Cookies 'n Cream was super sweet but super good and packed with oreos (#cookieception). The OMFG is stuffed with nutella and no other words are needed besides the name of the cookie. I also really like the Lemon + Almond because it was less sweet which gave my taste buds a break from the sugar of all the other cookies I was ingesting. I was looking for some dessert one night after dining at Holbox (in the Mercado la Paloma), Yelp led me to Brady's--or possibly it was divine intervention--which turns out to reside in a ghost kitchen just a few blocks away. I had no idea which location to place order. I took a chance and left a message. The store manager was so kind to call me back and help me navigate LA! Not only that, he poured some TLC over the phone and guided me with my order of fresh baked cookies and a jar of chilled milk. Today was the first time I picked up in person instead of getting delivered from Postmates. Their at a ghost kitchen and the process to pick up is super easy and it's a drive through! Don't gotta go down and they bring it to your window. -- I picked up some goodies before I fly to the bay to my fam, their requests + two things I haven't tried from them. The vegan pb&j cookie is LIFE CHANGING. pb&j is one of my favorite things ever and any time i see something with that on a menu i order it. They always fall short somehow. Not this one. Jelly inlaid in the middle, the cookie itself gives you just enough of a hint of bread that it pulls that and the delicious peanut butter together. Unreal. I'm always hesitant about cookies when they're vegan mostly because of texture but the texture of these is impeccable. The first time i got it it was fresh baked and immaculate.
