Crab crakes, French fries & veggies
Dalia V.

First visit to this restaurant with some friends for lunch. Service was good and food was served hot. I ordered the crab cakes and my husband had the fish tacos. Crab cakes were actually very thick and felt it wasn't to my liking and it lacked flavor plus the side of veggies just wasn't to my liking either, French fries were just ok. My husband dish he ate everything but said himself he's had better. The ambiance was nice and the place was clean. Parking is quite the challenge with street parking.

I absolutely love this restaurant in Boothbay Harbor. Very nice seats looking over the bay and the food is extremely affordable and the staff is great. Very cozy but casual.

Looking for a Cheers kind of place, this is it! So many delicious options to choose from on their menu, great portions for a great price!

Nice views on the water. Super welcoming to our pups with beds and water. Delicious steak salad- vegetables tasted very fresh- a welcome relief after too many lobsta rolls!

A friend of mine and our daughters spent Mother's Day weekend in Maine and had a great time. Came to Bradys on a whim and we loved it. Atmosphere was nice, service was good and the food was great as well. We will definitely be returning.

We tried Brady's when in the area for Gardens Aglow. This was a nice pub/restaurant with some pros and cons. We had several items including the burger, fish & chips, French dip sandwich, and shrimp tacos. They all came with fries and coleslaw. The fries have a special seasoning, which was good. Not overly spicy. The coleslaw had zero flavor and the ones at our table did not seem to have any dressing or spice - which was needed. I suggest switching out fries for onions rings, which were amazing! They are homemade and on the thinner side, which we liked. I had the beer cheese with my fries, which again, lacked flavor and was ok. The burger was enjoyed, but nothing outstanding. I had the fish, which was one of the better entrees. It was an entire filet and huge! Fresh and flaky haddock in a good batter with homemade tartar sauce. The winner of the night was the French dip recommended by our server. They use prime rib cooked there. Au jus on point. Only thing I would change was it was on thick white bread instead of a roll, which I felt would have held up better and not made it soggy after dipping. Bottom line, everything was good, fresh, and seemed much was homemade. I felt that flavor and spice was lacking in a lot of it though and could have been notched up some. If I could give 3.5 I would, but alas... Prices were reasonable.

View from our bar table out to the harbor

This review is only about the experience and beer, because we had no food on this stop. Our first day in Boothbay and exploring the area. Brady's was at the top of Boothbay Harbor, so we stopped in for a beer and a view. We were seated in the bar area, near the water. The bar area is huge and has a long bar and lots of tables. Our server was Sam and she was terrific! We just wanted a couple of beers and she recommended the Thirsty Botanist (a local craft beer). Great beer - get one if you like a good IPA! We really enjoyed just taking in the harbor view and enjoying great conversation with Sam and some of our table 'neighbors'. While I can't personally comment on the food, we saw the fish and chips come out near us and it looked amazing. If you're looking for a great bar, with terrific views and a fun vibe. Stop by Brady's, it won't disappoint!

Food was delicious, staff were outstanding, view was beautiful. Also probably the most dog friendly restaurant I have ever been to.

Hot Lobster Roll and a sangria was delicious. Parking was difficult but service was kind and quick. It was nice to eat outside with the rain and great music playing.

The Kentucky Derby at Brady's was a blast. Mini Sam made great drinks. She made wicked Irish Car Bombs with layered shots. Cheers!!!

Great seaside steakhouse with a very good menu and plenty of good drinks. Went there and had the sirloin and shrimp meal. Excellent.

Tourist/Beach spots can be difficult - but I'd have to say we lucked out…read more It was time for a couple of us to have some east coast seafood, but we also heard the chef at this spot is known for the risotto. 1 in our party had the lobster, but, lobster is wasted on me. One had the fish and chips. Up this way they use haddock. Don't know why we don't in Charleston, that was some oh-so-delicious fish!!!! I'd been dying for some 'Boston' clam chowder. This chowder definitely fits the bill. Tasty, salty (in an appropriate way) thick, hot, and stuffed with some delicious clams. I also decided on the risotto, just the 4 cheese, no protein. This was creamy and so full of flavor, 6 days later I'm still thinking about it. We sat on the rooftop, enjoyed some fine weather, a great meal, and lovely wine. Couldn't have been a more perfect lunch!

First of all you cannot beat the views of Linekin Bay! Perfect view of Cabbage Island. Secondly,…read morethe food is awesome. The fish tacos are so delicious and they have a lot of fun cocktails to choose from. I come here every summer! Perfect for a date night or night out with the entire family. Servers are very friendly. It has a laid-back yet upscale vibe. I've also come during the daytime for lunch. You can come via boat. I believe it's the same lunch and dinner menu but again everything is soo good. Their Linekin Bay Smash (rum punch) is a must!

Nice seafood restaurant and bar in Boothbay right off Main Street (walkable) to shops. Water view…read more Great friendly staff and bartender. (No "old" seafood smells like some restaurants that have a big seafood menu. That's a plus for me or anyone who doesn't eat seafood in a party who wants it. Bought a cute hoodie t-shirt with their logo on it here. Recommend - everything on menu is very fresh and good.

First time to BOOTHBAY HARBOR - We decided to go here for dinner. The A/C wasn't on and the room…read morewas very humid. We decided not to sit in the back as it was a crowd of people and it was already hot. I can't do hot while I eat - I made the best of it and we ordered food. We ordered fried calamari & scallops wrapped in bacon and we each had a clam roll. I can't eat white potatoes as it's inflammatory for my auto immune- no sweet potato was available - I do prefer them -or used to them- and so I got asparagus (odd for a substitute but it's veggies) this was a super treat I'm not sure how the crab should have tasted but it's not what I'm used to growing up so for me , I personally didn't like it and I didn't think the flavor was good - I added lemon- didn't seem to help. The atmosphere was great but the concentration was on that back room. The crab roll could have been better as I've had them before, calamari was good and scallops too. Also noting most of these restaurants never have NON COLA DIET SODA - It sits right in the harbor - the waitress engaged in conversation - a lot of these folks are immigrants on a work visa returning to the Harbor during summers & then fly to their countries until the next summer.
