I contacted the office Tuesday to schedule an appointment for Thursday. The lady who answered the…read morephone did not know which provider covered my Metlife Insurance Policy. I had the numbers on the card available, but instead of working the issue and contacting my insurance - she submitted under a random electronic drop down for a different type of Metlife insurance and I was later contacted via text with a message stating Spectrum Vision needed additional insurance information. I called the Spectrum Vision office and was given voicemail. On the voicemail - I left my insurance numbers and the phone number for Metlife. A phone number the office workers could have used to call Metlife and verify this office was covered (as it is listed in the online provider directory). Instead of doing her job, she cancelled my appointment when I was unable to pickup the phone Wednesday. I was working constantly and unable to pick up the phone - so she should have done her job instead of cancelling my appointment. Is it that hard to call a phone number for an insurance provider? Now that I am no longer working today, I am happy to provide this feedback. See attached screenshot for my Vision Provider directory.

The gentleman on the phone was rude and put no effort into helping me. He just kept saying "yea, it's not coming up". He was rude, lazy and lacked customer service. Take your business elsewhere.

I went to this store after an appointment that I had ordered glass and a contact training for my…read morechild. I received a text message stating my ordered items were in. However, upon arrival I wasn't notified that once the trial contact for my child arrived that I would need to make an additional appointment for training not only that but when the contacts did arrive no one at the Denton Tx University location bothered to call and set up an appointment for the training therefore I had to set the appointment up well after the contacts arrived. From there the asst manager Trey set the appointment for June 25th. I arrived at the store only to find out that although we "set an appointment" the technicians couldn't find it within the appointment book. Thus far the 2nd miscommunication amongst the staff. Trey tells the technician he set the appointment so we could be seen. My child went through the training but wasn't able to take out one of his contacts so Trey stated that the dr Ronald Barnabei would have to take the contact out. Ronald Barnabei is a nasty individual to use gloves that he touched his equipment, the office doors and who knows what else then proceeds to put his dirty gloves in my child's eye and throw away the contact. The technician stated that my child would need to contact to practice taking them in and out and reschedule another class, which is totally fine but for Ronald Barnabei to touch his equipment with the same gloves then put them in someone's eye is unsanitary, unacceptable and unprofessional. Along with him throwing out the contact that the technician said to use and when questioned his response was we'll order more as nonchalant and as dismissive as can be. When confronted about using gloves that had been contaminated Ronald and Trey had nothing to say. When I addressed this issue with Trey telling him there has been too many miscommunications between staff members he tried to twist the narrative to save face. I spent well over 600 dollars at Americas Best 2 weeks ago and paid for trial contacts only for them to hold onto them. If that's the case where's my refund? Also, Trey telling me that I would have to get another eye exam for a contact prescription, that's not needed if I already paid for the appointment and prescription. Trey then said that my child's needs to practice touching his eye (pupil) without contacts and he would be able to be better at using contacts. Per the Americas Best Website the trial contacts were suppose to be sent home for a week and then a follow up appointment should occur. I've used contacts since my early teens and have NEVER been told to just touch my eyeballs when practicing to wear contacts. In order to learn one must be able to have the product to practice with. Aside from Trey and Ronald negative customer service experience the technician was friendly and patient. I tried to give this location a chance but I can still seen why he didn't come back after several years. This is unacceptable, Trey and Ronald need customer service training and need to communicate with their employees so miscommunications don't occur. I wouldn't have ordered my glasses and contacts for myself nor ordered glasses and paid $119 for CL Exam and trial contacts for my child if I knew this would happen and be such a hassle. I either need a refund of the exam or my child's contacts prescription and the trial contacts. Do not go to this Denton Tx location avoid Ronald Barnabei and Trey if possible. It's a reason Ronald's private office/business closed in Fort Worth as he's EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL along with Trey making up policies without fact checking.

NOT IMPRESSED! And NO DESIRE TO EVER RETURN and would NOT RECOMMEND to my Worst Enemy!…read more HOWEVER, Nursing Staff was Wonderful, Friendly, and Concerned about this Patient! HOSPITAL DID NOT CARE AT All! LAST Involved Doctor, Issued an Order that he was concerned about possible Stent Blood Clotting that might be taking place! So he was NOT going to Release Me UNTIL he conducted ONE last Test "Just to be Sure". (Patient greatly Appreciated his Professionalism and CONCERN!) HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT, I'd give a "0"! After installing a Drug Coated Heart Stent, I was having some Negative Issues. Doctor told COMPETENT Nursing Staff that HE, due to Negative Symptoms Patient was Experiencing, that BEFORE I was to be Released, he wanted to conduct a last Test to verify I was NOT having any Blood Clotting Issues in new Stent. Had me NEEDLESSLY STAY, and PAY FOR, another 2 days! Day of Scheduled Test, later in day, 2 different CONCERNED Nurses came in and Asked if I had heard WHEN the Doctor was going to do his Test? Told them I have NOT HEARD ANYTHING! Later in day, another Nurse came in and asked the same question as the other 2. AGAIN, told her I had NO IDEA! She went to check on my Scheduled Heart Imaging and said she WILL FIND OUT and let me know! SHE NEVER RETURNED! Obviously, SOMEONE gave a "STAND DOWN ORDER" to let the Patient PASS. NEVER Told Nurses, nor PATIENT, that My Best Interest Concerns had been CANCELED! I was, and Still Am, Concerned about my Health and having even MORE Negative Issues that Appear to be related to New Heart Stent. Based on what I have read, I AM LIVING IN FEAR of having ANOTHER, Possibly FATAL, Heart Attack!!! GIVEN NO CHOICE but to Meet with a Personal Injury ATTY next week in case my Heart FAILS and for my Family to consult with!

Treated with kindness and respect, excellent care and communication . Staff went above and beyond…read moreexpectations.
