My system would buffer like 1995. I decided to get an after-market router instead of continuing with the Spectrum router. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work so I found Gus on Yelp and saw that he had the most reviews and most of them were good. I called and spoke to Gus. He asked me to explain to him exactly what was going on with my internet. After that, he told me what his price was to come out and troubleshoot. I told him I would think about it. The next day when I texted him my hire decision he told me he had been thinking about my problem and said he thought he came up with a resolution. He told me to call Spectrum and have them replace my modem. He also sent me a link of two items to order on Amazon and said he believed that once these were installed that would solve the problem. I followed his advice and then set an appointment for him to come...he is very busy so getting a time we could both agree on was a little difficult...but was finally resolved. Let me say he was here for an hour and 40 minutes and his remedy solved my problem 100 %...My internet is so fast now. I have 5 bars all the time and have only lost service once for a minute since he was here a week ago...he was extremely professional and knowledgeable....what he told me to do was exactly correct. He installed my Nighthawk router and an Amazon Firestick I had purchased and also the two items that actually make my internet work now. I also had no sound when watching Netflix and even their techs could not resolve that issue, now everything works perfectly...it was worth the $235.00 I paid. Yitz installed security cameras at my house and I've had many problems working with him. He's…read moreunreliable and has poor integrity. I would never work with him again. The project took way longer than it was supposed to, but I would've been okay with that had he honored his warranty and stood by his work. He offered his own warranty in addition to what consumers are legally entitled to by the CSLB. When my cameras went offline, he had me spend hours and hours with the manufacturer tech support before he was willing to even consider looking at them. It took months to get him to come back to my house to get the cameras back online. Before he came over, he argued with me on the phone wanting me to agree in advance to pay more money, even though they went offline within one year and are covered under both warranties. He tried to negate what the warranties covered and even the wording in his own contract. He finally came to get the cameras online but wanted me to agree to cap his visit at one hour and pay for any hours above that, regardless of the reason the cameras went offline. I said if they're not back online after the first hour we can talk about it, but let's at least see what he could do in that hour. When he came over, he spent ten minutes and got most of the cameras back online, but was very resistant to answering questions or explaining what he was doing or how to prevent them going offline in the future. He rushed out the door very quickly and wasn't willing to spend the full hour. I ran out to his car to tell him two cameras were still offline and the NVR was still offline but he left anyway. He said he would come back to fix the rest soon. It's been two months and he's been ghosting me. He won't respond to my calls or texts. I really liked Yitz initially, but he's broken my trust and I've given him way too many opportunities to fix the situation. I've had too much patience. Very disappointing.

Now, I've had my Dell lap top for 5 years but, it has not had the miles put on it like my PC. All black, beautifully stream lined 19" monitor, tower (with more memory than Methuzilah!), key board/mouse for $699.84! BTW that included all the goodies at no extra charge! However, had it not been for my friend (which resulted from my being a customer of his) John (owner/operator of GEEKMAN.BIZ) I would be in a straight jacket right now! He spent 5 hours (at his rate which is the same for me as everyone else) transfering all of my files, insatalling, updating, connecting tweeking this downloading that leaving nothing left for me to do but sign in and re-enter ID'S and passwords etc. Also, next week he will be back to re-evaluate his work, make adjustments (all for no charge) and then begin re-designing my new web site for my sunglasses business. That too at a very reasonable rate. My fellow yelpers' I'm delighted beyond gegabytes! My USP ports runnith over! There is no way I could have done this without him and his expertise. I mean really where do you find PC people that have all of these cool FREE downloads right from their web site: AVG Security, Crap Cleaner, Adware, Microsoft programs for cool sounds...oh the list of good fortune is endless! Okay maybe some others but everything is user friendly and, he is available for consult either via text or phone. So, just like when I had to have my car in tip top condition when I was in corperate and kept a top notch mechanic available at reasonable rates available now, I have a PC professional for my PC & Lap Top needs. The second repair at a later date was to replace the DVD player. I was in the middle of a Windows 7 system rebuild to eliminate a virus when the DVD player broke.
