I had the day off and came in for a pedi. I was greeted and got in right away. They were pretty busy but I had no wait. I loved a few things about this experience. First, I like the massage chairs with my pedicure. As I was getting my toes done, I was able to also have a back massage! Nice touch :) Second, the pedi was not your mamma's pedi, there were hot stones involved and the massage my legs got was also great. I have been a routine customer in the past and WAS happy with the service provided. Sadly I can not say that anymore. I took my granddaughter out for gel manicure as a treat for us together. I made an appointment after being told appointment only ... no walkins unless business is really slow. Got there couple min early, followed the checkin rules, No One greeted us...No One asked what service we required. A few others were greeted who walked in after us. . Several clients were waiting. After 10 minutes I asked one of the beauticians to help me as I had an appoiantment. She said to go back to a pedicure chair and someone would be with me shortly. This is my go to nail salon. I love the way they make my square nail shape. I went on March 5th and got an acrylic fill. It was $25, and I got gel polish for $15 extra. I wanted each nail to be a different color, which turned out perfectly. The process did take longer than usually, about an hour and a half. The problem was two days after I went the gel polish chipped on my thumb nail. Now almost a week later the gel polish is peeling off!! I got my nails done here a few weeks ago, and am just now getting to write a review. This is very close (within walking distance) to my house, so I figured why not swing by for a mani/pedi before my vacation? The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet and did a fantastic job (I don't remember her name unfortunately.) After my pedi, I planned to get a full custom gel set with some glitter I brought from home. I wasn't asking for anything too crazy or complicated, and I was happy with the results. Sadly, I will not be back due to how unbelievably rude the man who did my nails was. He was unnecessarily aggressive when asking how I wanted my nails done, and argued with me that what I wanted was too complicated and couldn't be done. It ended up being really simple as all I wanted was for my glitter to be mixed in with the clear gel. While he was putting them on, there was a point where he legit got ANGRY when I wasn't completely relaxing my fingers. Most nail techs I've been to will simply motion for you to relax your hands, or just kindly tell you like a decent human being. Kevin filed my nail so long and hard that I now have a blood clot under my nail , after he filed my nail he began to put the Acrylic on I advised him my finger was burning he just repeated me and kept working. I LOVED my first visit here yesterday. I am new to the area, and am looking for a new nail salon. I had tried one other salon and had been very unimpressed with my manicure and pedicure, so I headed to BR Nails which came highly recommended by my neighbors. I called around 3:30pm yesterday on the off chance they had an opening that same evening- and they were able to give me a 6pm appointment which was great! I was taken back promptly ~6:05, and my gel mani took about 35 minutes. I was super pleased with the color selection of gel polishes. My manicurist was awesome- great attention to detail and very pleasant. Hands down, one of the best manis I have ver had! My gel mani cost $25 which is absurdly cheap (at least from where I am from!) I called ahead to ask the wait time for a take off. The gentleman I spoke with communicated the wait would be fairly short. Upon entering I wasn't greeted, but I paid that no mind since it is prom season and I understand businesses get extra busy. After waiting a while, I asked an employee how long the wait would be for a soak off. She made eye contact and pointed to the elderly woman behind the counter. When I asked her the wait time, she put her finger up to silence me. That was extremely disrespectful, but I waited a couple more minutes. She still didn't acknowledge me. I was helped by another employee doing a set to the left of me. She finished what she was doing and said not to interrupt her while she's working and continued to be rude. I got there before they opened (at 9)because I knew they would be busy and was first in line for a mani/pedi. You do need to go in patient because they do not rush through their customers (which is a great quality). The massage chairs are excellent and the pedi was great with an exfoliating massage and hot stone treatment. My gel manicure was just as relaxing. Some times it does take a few minutes to get in, but they do let you call ahead for an appointment. BR Nails is a great spot in Broad Ripple. I like going here for their many choices for shellac nail colors. However it can also be overwhelming. Sometimes the wait or time of service can be pretty long. I would go expecting to wait especially on the weekends. I was disappointed that when I picked a gel color for my fingers and asked about a matching color for my toes I was basically just told to look at the wall and figure it out.
