This is the best gay bar in Phoenix! Audrey, the owner, is so amazing she even gave my friend jerky when he said he needed to eat. The bartenders are super friendly and it's not filled with an older crowd. They've got people of all ages and all walks of life . Next time I'm in Phoenix I am definitely going back and I urge everyone to join me. They go above and beyond to keep everyone smiling and having fun. Seriously it's amazing so give it a try. This is the bar you go to when you start at Stacy's and realize you aren't having any fun and the music isn't doing your mood any justice. Staff is friendly, chatty and really know how to make the drinks so they hit you without tasting like they will. The music is tasteful, dance-worthy and full of new songs (and a few slow dancing songs). I'm not a every weekend bar-goer, but I will definitely be frequenting this place. I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Every staff member was ridiculously sweet to my partner and I (it was our first time) and we even met Audrey! She came and talked to us and got to know us. This is probably the sorriest excuse for a new gray bar on the boulevard. It's been open for just over a month now and there's no customers inside I don't 12:17 AM on a Friday night. I don't know when people will learn that lesbian bars just don't work - even if they're all inclusive. Had a great night last night at Boycott Bar. All are welcome and Audrey the owner greeted us at the door and made us feel extremely part of her family. It's a neighborhood bar with a dope vibe. Not many people on a Tuesday night due to just reopening but it got busier later and everyone was vining to the music being played on the juke box. I probably liked this place for different reasons as everyone else. I was walking a friend home from Lux and we decided to stop and have one more drink. Neither of us had been here before and it was pretty quiet so we decided to try it out. I guess at midnight on a Wednesday not a lot of people are out drinking late. The bar tender was super nice and they had great drink specials. Also the bartender was super attentive and even hooked us up with some free songs on the juke box and darts. Honestly it's was like two dollars worth of free stuff but it's nice to be someplace in central that actually has good staff/service and isn't full of people for a change. This place is totally gonna be my late night Wednesday drinking spot. Try it out. read more

I re located to Arizona from New York about 8 months ago and i did a google search on gay bars in the area, Boycott bar was the first one to pop up. I have to say this place feels like home, the owner Audrey is always there welcoming guests and super friendly.. you feel right at home here, there is a vibe in this place that is unmatched. The music is always good, the people here are also welcoming and friendly... every time i have a friend visiting from back hime i bring them here. We left our car there to go to another bar down the street and come back to check on our car and Lyft home but the owner (Audry) insisted on giving my partner and I a ride home and also had one of her employee's drive my partners car home so we had it in the morning. Meh, the lesbian bar scene in Arizona is always soooooo disappointing. I believe boycott bar was an old LGBT bar that's been " rebranded " recently so myself and 4 friends decided to give it a shot on a Saturday night. They had a decent crowd of people, they had a 5 dollar cover charge which kinda sucks, majority of 21 plus bar/club venues don't have a cover charge so be prepared to pay for the unknown. After gaining entrance to the venue we immediately went to the bar where it appears some young highly unattractive women were dancing on the bar in what appeared to me neon fish nets, thigh bands, or just a simple colored bra. With dollar bills hanging from thigh bands and such, swinging and sweating on the bar, where bartenders are making your beverage. I found it tacky but it may be some people's thing. ‍. We then ventured to the pool hall, we seen tables and immediately got excited, headed to the door that said slide here, we slid the door open and walked into what appeared to be a sweat room, it was moist and humid and absolutely ZERO AIR CONDITIONER ! If fear of melting off makeup and sweating through our clothes we then searched for some space on the dance floor. We found some seats some friends danced and I sat to observe that the venue I just paid 5 bucks to get into has zero standard. Women were wearing flip flops. One girl had on pajama pants flip flops and a plain tank top. The music was outdated, there were a few songs that are now hot and mainstream but not enough to get me to join this crowd. The only consistent thing about this bar was the staff, it was clearly visible who worked there, they all had nice tshirt that matched the staff was polite when they cleared our drinks, when we ordered and when we left. All in all, this isn't a place I think I'd visit again. It's tacky & draws an extremely odd group of people. If your looking to get fancy, wear heels and venture out, steer clear of this joint. It's a buzz kill and an epic fail for a lesbian bar. read more
