I really don't even need to write this review. You already know that your neighborhood independent…read moredowntown hardware store is just damn awesome. Just awesome. You need something? They have it. You could go to a national chain store where the lackeys, er, uh, employees don't have a clue. You might find what you're looking for. You won't pay any less. Or, you could go to Robnetts, and if you don't immediately see what you need, one of the staff will take you right to it. Have an odd fastener? They have it in stock. They can even tell you exactly what it is before you go looking. My only dig was one time I needed a bolt for some furniture. They had one that fit, but it was a bolt with a hex head that takes a standard wrench rather than flush top that uses an allen wrench. Guess what? My chair still works! Not too long ago I needed an odd light bulb. I wanted to get an LED version. They had exactly what I needed, and I paid less than what I would have paid had I ordered online. Another time I was looking for some oddball light bulbs for a friend. They had the EXACT match, both in halogen and LED. I got the LED. Sweet. Just recently, I needed an odd sized allen wrench. I have so many of them, and I have a few sets. I didn't need a whole set, just one wrench. Eighty-nine cents and two minutes later it was in my pocket and I was on my way with a smile. Thank you Robnett's.

Always buy local. Been in business since the pyramids. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff…read more Highly recommended. Plus they've got nice old wooden floors that squeak with every foot fall. Love it.

Were many think that Horner's just caters to the logging industry it doesn't. Many folks come there for their home small engine devices for new purchases, repairs plus parts. Every time I go in there, I am met with friendly folks with a true small town attitude about them. I have the opportunity to go in there today and Steven fixed my chainsaw for me and saved me the trouble ! I am most grateful to him for that! what great folks they are. Larry Horner, you have raised a great son. you should be proud of him! If you need chainsaws, weedeaters, heavy duty, work, clothes, and any and all accessories do consider Horner's! It is not a long of a trip from Eugene and you'll be most happy with their service and their caring for you as a customer. Thank you, Steven and Sierra! See you again soon!

Excellent excellent excellent place of business!!…read more We just moved to this area, and Horner's helped us find a perfect chainsaw for what we need for our 3.5 acres. Not only did they go thru what we would need, once we figured out the proper Stihl chain saw, we were showed how to start it, put fuel in, oil, chain adjustment, and maintenance. The place is an absolute museum of retired saws on the wall. They sell many types of axes, many of which had special purposes I never knew. Tree limb lopers as well, which will have to be bought another time due to being an expensive month... Don't don't go to a big box store if u ever need a chain saw, or other type of implement of destruction. They are so friendly here. This is one of those rare places , very very knowledgeable and a page right out of a National Geographic magazine. What a great place.
