Hot honey chicken Benny
Jamie C.

Came here in a large group for a friends birthday. We had a to wait a few minutes as the previous party was still wrapping up. Once seated we noticed the menu showed brunch entrees are $26. The website shows entrees are $21 so this was a little surprising. The two servers were both friendly and trying their best but the restaurant was packed and they seemed to be the only two servers on the floor. The mimosas are brought around in pitchers and poured for anyone who wants one. All other drinks and food is ordered on the QR code. I got the hot honey chicken benny which is fried chicken, poached eggs, and potatoes. The food was delicious but I would say I not I did not get poached eggs. The chicken was well cooked and there was a good amount of sauce. I loved the potatoes too. This is a casual spot with decent food but the place is a little loud and service can be a bit slow.

BEST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH IN DC!!!! You get unlimited drinks (choice of mimosas, spritz, or bloodies) with the purchase of an entree. I got the honey hot chicky Benny and it was so so tasty. I'd get it again. Favorite brunch spot in DC. A must try that won't break the bank!

Came by to try out their free bottomless mimosas during brunch. This was a great deal. Started with the cinnamon roll, which was delicious. I then had the classic breakfast. The service was good and the restaurant was packed. The food came out quick. My only complaint was the amount of flies that came in through the open doors and windows. They were really attracted to our food.

Oysters!

Consistently good. The menu slowly changes over time, but is always solid and pretty good. Their burgers are very good. I love their oysters and their price point is great. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails. They have frequent events, trivia, music, sports etc. the outdoor seating is great. Their servers are really good. They have an online ordering system that I don't love, but you can go to the bartender and order. Sometimes the online ordering system is wrong, so if you really want something, you might want to ask. The service fee is a mandatory 20 percent.

Where do I start? Because God knows I don't want the brunch to end!!! From the greeting to the sit down... Good Energy!. I usually come to Boundary for a few drink which always satisfy me in the right way.. Today I was feeling for an early bite and something along the lines of a win win situation.. I notice they had a sign that say free bottomless brunch.. They definitely have that on Saturdays and Sundays.. I was indulging in several Aperol spritz which had a great consistency. Then I chopped away at a pork belly sandwich they were offering. It hit every taste bud in my mouth. Also the brunch potatoes were drizzled with love.. I will be returning for more of this love dedicated to the food and drinks!

1 year later and WHAT A TIME! Stopped in for brunch and the entire menu is different. The service was very good, Maggie was attentive and helpful as we navigated their brunch menu. They offer free unlimited drinks with a brunch item for $21! You can choose from mimosas, aperol spritzes or bloody mary's. It does get packed, so I'd recommend arriving early.

Food was fast, delicious, and bottomless mimosas/aperol for brunch if you get an entree, it was totally worth it! It's self seating and you do order and pay through a QR code which was definitely different but very efficient. Overall so much fun and a great time!

Shrimp and Grits

Free bottomless brunch here is the best! You must purchase a brunch entree that is $21. Really great deal! I got the shrimp and grits which is a new dish I think and they were excellent!

Habanero honey hot chicken sandwich ready to teach me a lesson.

This is a very comfortable space. Exposed brick, unfinished wood, small space that is intimate without being claustrophobic or cacophonous. A place with serviceable manhattans and old fashioneds on tap has to get some credit off the bat. The cocktails overall are well made, and there's a good beer variety. I love burgers, and the burger looks delicious, but figured the habanero honey chicken sandwich was more unique. And I will tell you, for all the heat lovers out there - this sandwich will not disappoint. It is delightful. I roll my eyes at Thai and Indian restaurants anymore with their heat ratings. I make my own hot sauce. This sandwich will punish you. You cannot kiss your date goodnight. Only those who chase that endorphin high from capsaicin pain should venture this way. This is a great place to hang out, the servers are friendly and great, it's lively but manageable, and very welcoming.

The food came out SO fast! It was hot and really really good. The cinnamon rolls was soooooo good. One of the best I've had. We ordered on our phone so didn't really experience good or bad service. They were polite!

Deliciousness - 3/5 Happiness -5/5…read more This place is for drinkers as it has no food, so if you want to lift an ale (and go out for dinner before or after, or bring food in with you), this is the place to be. They have a large beer, wine, and liquor list (although not nearly as many English beers as I expected from a place called Crown & Crow). I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet. But the beer was expertly poured and the wine was a very generous serving. The prices are also more than reasonable, which is great for a DC bar. But what really elevates this place is the service. By late night, the place was jam packed. But each and every bartender was extremely friendly and they expertly worked the crowd, getting drinks served quickly (which too few places manage to do) and swiftly clearing off tables of dirty glasses. I also greatly appreciated the free goldfish that they happily dole out to the patrons. The staff made this a really good time.

The bartender in that area was friendly, but unhelpful, directing us to use the front room's bartender, even though she wasn't busy when we approached and asked for a couple of drinks. The bartender in the main room was great, he was very friendly and once he started a tab for me he said I could use the other bar too, I guess he wasn't aware the bartender at that other bar already told me she wouldn't help me. Regardless, the drinks we had were decent. For small bites, they only had gold fish crackers, I wish they would have had more to nosh on while drinking. Overall, not a bad visit.

We parked in the rear parking area, it shares the lot, so definitely could get tight when crowded. Rear entrance was locked so had to go around to main street entrance. Friendly greeting at the door, seated immediately and waters brought over as soon as we scooted our chairs in. Super friendly & attentive staff. We went with the St. Patrick's Day menu. Donegal Fish & Chips- Probaby one of best fish that I have enjoyed. Fish was not too crispy or greasy, nice and flaky- 5 Stars Corned Beef & Cabbage was pretty good, not the best nor the worst - in the middle. Presentation was nice. Overall - great Staff & ambiance, parking available, reservations available. Fish & Chips were very good (not a huge portion of chips). A wee pricey for lunch for us on a regular basis with the portion size. 2 Lunch orders, 1 beer in a plastic cup, was a little over $70 (not with tip). Probably a one and done for us.

They are happy to recommend beer for your taste, and let you sample. It can be very busy and difficult to get a seat at the bar or get a table on a Friday or Saturday evening. We ordered food, and were expecting elevated bar food. The tater tots were a huge disappointment- they were very large squares , bland, and not crispy. The wings were okay. I visited as part of the full experience -- dinner downstairs at Birch & Barley, then up to Churchkey for drinks -- and honestly, it's one of the best evenings I've had in DC. Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. The smash burger also deserves a mention: simple, well-executed, and hits the spot. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming. Great for a date, a group, or even just sitting at the bar solo with a good beer and good conversation with the bartender. This place has earned its reputation as one of the best beer bars on the East Coast -- and then some. Highly recommend making a full night of it with both floors. You won't regret it.
