I am so over the moon with my experience with All Star Movers! After combing through Yelp reviews and going back and forth on whether I wanted to hire professionals or rely on some friends to help move me out of my bedroom apartment, I decided to give Boulder All Star Movers a try. I called to check on availability and spoke with Don, who was incredibly upbeat, knowledgeable, and helpful. Don suggested I book two hours, but told me I could always book an extra hour to be safe and have the money refunded if the extra hour wasn't used (I ended up using it, so I'm glad I booked it!). The day before I moved I called again to confirm my reservation for a two-man helping team. I again spoke with Don. He confirmed all the information for my reservation and told me I would be hearing from my movers the next day. On moving day Mike called be a half hour before my time slot to let me know that he was on the way. He told me that the other employee, Henry, would also be arriving shortly. Both were at my apartment on time, in uniform, ready to work. I had my own truck, but was nervous about backing into the loading area in my apartment complex. Mike jumped behind the wheel and backed it in like a pro. Once we got up to my apartment, Mike and Henry took inventory of everything that needed to be moved and came up with a plan to pack the truck in the most efficient way. Both Mike and Henry were extremely professional and upbeat throughout the moving process. It was Henry's second day on the job, and Mike took the time to show him proper lifting technique and other tips to ensure nothing got damaged during the move. I really appreciated the attention to details. I am so, so pleased with my experience. Mike and Henry took a huge amount of stress out my dreaded move. I will definitely be using Boulder All Star Movers again and recommend them to everyone I know. read more

I had a really awesome experience with Boulder All Star Movers. My move was schedule by Kyle and my movers were Shawn and Zander. Everyone did a great job. They have very transparent pricing that you can see on their website. You select the amount of movers, size of truck, and time you will need. You can pay online which I found super convenient. They prorate how much you pay, so if your move used less time than you ordered, you get some money back. Kyle helped me decide what I needed based on the size of my move and was super helpful around the move. During the move itself, Shawn and Zander were great. They were very communicative on their arrival time and came just when they said they would. They did a great job of letting me know how they were going to move my things and were careful with the items and both properties. I found no damage at all on anything or the properties. They were also fast and efficient. When they calculated the time for the move for the proration, they were very transparent. They ran all the times by me, explained exactly how they were going to compute the time, and made sure I understood and agreed to everything. I also requested that they wear masks, which they both stuck to the whole move. I really appreciated that because I know wearing a mask can be uncomfortable when performing physical exertion. I also scheduled my move very last minute since I had a different company back out on me, they were able to fit me in within a couple of days during the busy moving season which really saved me. Their price was also better than other companies. Everyone I interacted with at the company was very nice and great to work with. I highly recommend booking with them if you need to move in the area. read more

Like many Iv'e paid my dues in the moving/installation universe in my college years so I feel like I may have a more informed perspective/expectations vs. the average civilian. From the business model through to execution and caliber of guys BAM is top notch. Not sure what more you could ask for or want in a local moving company. Reasonably priced, convenient booking process, prompt, courteous, communicative, careful and very hard working. We were only an 8 mile-ish move but the job was big as it was our first move post kids. Gage, Larry and Tyler took care of us like family. They moved my most precious articles of art and furniture without incident. Cant recommend BAM strongly enough. They provide a level of service where you feel like you are underpaying them when all is said and done. Moving sucks. BAM made it less painful by an order of magnitude. Just some pro tips for those trying to figure out their own needs: We went with multiple 3 man + truck sessions. About 4, four hour sessions to complete a 4000 sqft 4 bedroom family of 4. If you are self packing you can count on about a 10 hour packing to 1 hour BAM (3 men + truck) ratio. Meaning you will need about forty hours of packing to be ready for what these guys can devour with 3 men in 4 hours. Again our move was a short distance so your millage may vary. Point being the success of the move and efficiency of BAM depends largely on your preparation. So keep in mind that for even short blocks of time you need to prepare way more than you think to keep these gentlemen busy. read more

We recently relocated to Boulder and I wanted to find a local moving company because I like supporting local businesses. The guys at Boulder All Star Movers were fantastic all the way around! We had a 16' POD and a 26' UHaul to unload and I made a reservation for 3 guys for 3 hours. Their pricing was fair and the reservations super easy to make. On unpacking day, I received a phone call from two of the three movers letting me know that they would be arriving shortly. One even arrived a little early and he said he left home early because he didn't want to be late. That type of diligence to punctuality is rare these days. The movers got to work right away and exercised the same amount of care whether they were unloading a heavy metal file cabinet or one of our many large plants. We have experienced some movers who are so focused on time that they damage items - not these guys. They were efficient but never rushed. They were very courteous, personable, and patient when I was somewhat indecisive on where something should go. They were extremely mindful of our hardwood floors and laid down a cardboard "path" to walk on when carrying items into the house. They finished with a few minutes to spare and then asked us if we needed help rearranging anything. Even though my husband was there, I would have NO problem hiring these guys if I were a single female. We are renting a house and will be moving again in a year. I will definitely be calling Boulder All Star Movers again. Thanks guys!! read more

Boulder All Star Movers (BAM) came through for us again, this time with a bigger job requiring two trucks with three movers each. Team Rob and his guys (Leonard and Alex) moved most of our total furniture, clothes, kitchen items, etc. from our temporary apartment into our new home. They were careful, efficient and courteous and our furniture and boxes arrived safely, and setup such that my wife and I were able to function in our new home right off the bat. Team Nate and his new recruits (Forest and Sid?) focussed on moving boxes and miscellaneous things stored in my father's basement, along with some patio furniture to our new place. It was the perfect way for the new guys to get experience before taking on more difficult moving tasks. Again Nate and his guys were careful and courteous and we could tell that they really took pride in their work. We have now experienced three different moving crews from BAM and each was consistently excellent. They are friendly, flexible and bend over backwards (often literally) to make our moves as easy as possible for such a stressful process. We underestimated the time it would take for our move (two crews for five hours) and they were able to take one of the hours that was allocated to one crew and add it to the hours allocated for the other crew. The team leads seem empowered to make decisions and inspire confidence in their crews and customers. Using BAM took a lot of the stress out of our move. read more

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS! We just finished a move in Boulder and called Boulder All Star Movers because of their great Yelp reviews. So glad we did! Don, the owner, and Nat were so personable, cared about our belongings, took the time to know what we wanted and needed and offered to help and go above and beyond where we needed them too. I am a Realtor in Boulder so I have helped many many clients in the moving process and I always have hesitated to recommend any moving companies because none of them are really ever that great. Being on the other side of the coin and personally moving I was nervous about hiring movers. Don called to check in with me twice because of a snow storm that was looming. He made me feel totally at ease that they will adjust to whatever the weather turns out to be and suggested we wait an extra hour to start to let the snow melt which was really perfect. The move went very smooth, they were extremely careful with our things and very polite! ( A rare find in the moving business) My husband and I were also impressed with how strong they were, sounds weird but they barely broke a sweat. These guys are in shape and completely capable of any kind of move. Don also let me know that whenever I needed anything moved around or a hand with anything to give them a call and they would be happy to help. Total cost for our move was $575. It was just shy of 6 hours. Worth every penny and then some!!!!! read more

I know, a 5 star review, who does that? Normally, not me. But I have got to say, I have never been more pleased with a service as I am with B.A.M.. In the last 4 years, my wife and I have moved 3 times [once out-of-state] due to advancements in my wife's career. In all 3 moves, we have been very happy with our movers, but B.A.M. was by far the most professional outfit of the three. As you might already know, the household moving business is one of the shadiest businesses out there. Very few experiences are pleasant. First, booking this outfit is super easy and if you have questions like I did, you can call them and talk directly to a manager. Their hourly rate is ideal for local moves and their estimates are accurate and reliable. I booked the service for four hours and because it only took three hours to complete the entire move, I was reimbursed the difference. I scheduled the crew to arrived between 8 and 9 A.M., they showed up promptly at 8:05. The crew consisted of Skylar, Victor and Demetri [muscle]. The three gents were clean and professional in appearance, polite and knowledgable. They wrapped and secured my valued furniture and moved the load without any damage. At the new location, they placed the furniture where I asked. Again, I can't recommend this outfit and Skylar, Victor and Demetri enough and to be perfectly honest, you'd be a fool not to hire these guys. ~ Paul & Ana, Longmont, CO. read more

I had the Dream Team today. BAM came recommend my storage company. My storage company was fantastic, so I trusted their recommendation without checking any further. Today was the load out of my storage unitS into a UHaul. I had huge pleasure of Mike, Nick and Jordan. All three of these three men were focused and efficient and pleasant ! They worked well as a team. They knocked out my load in an amazing two hours , which would be very doable, EXCEPT they ALSO took incredible care! They wrapped EVERYTHING that was even remotely at risk. The Man in the Unit wrapped EVERYTHING; he is clearly a pro and very organized. The Man in Between was a fabulous communicator and got messages/requests from the fourth floor to the truck and back again , all while giving my goods a careful escort to the truck. The Man In the Truck was clearly a perfectionist, requesting certain sized boxes to make his wall how he wanted. This team spared nothing to do what appears to be a great job. They made sure the items I wanted in the rear of truck ended up in the rear of the truck. I have every confidence that this Uhaul will travel like a dream. Thank you Fellows! You were amazing and your employer should be thrilled to have you in their employ. I know I am stoked you were there today :) BOULDERSBEST promo code gets you 10% off! I did not have a promo code, but they are worth every penny! read more

Damian and Lance helped us move today and they were fantastic! Super prompt, very courteous and friendly, and very careful with my stuff. I called Boulder All Star Movers based on their Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did. Reasons to hire this company: you can book online and pay ahead, and if your time estimate is accurate, you are absolutely done with nothing else to do but say thank you and start unpacking. Their rates are super reasonable. They don't charge for their travel time from their home base. Their truck was in good shape, clean, and fully equipped with all the blankets and moving pads needed to protect my belongings. And most importantly: AMAZING SERVICE. Because of circumstances beyond my control, a week before my move was scheduled to happen it seemed like I might need to move early, and I called immediately and they worked with me super hard to accommodate my needs, even offering to just send moving help if they didn't have a truck available. Luckily, I was able to keep my original appointment, but if I hadn't been able to, Boulder All Star Movers was there for me, and super kind and understanding about the uncertainty in my plans. Moving is really stressful, but next time I move I'm going to call them again, and I won't worry about a thing, because I know that I have found a truly fantastic moving company. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU DAMIAN AND LANCE. read more

Very Professional Business Move Recently All Star Movers moved our employees from one building to two other locations. This move involved moving heavy lateral and four drawer standard fire files, a large fire proof safe, and furniture and equipment for 17 employee's offices. This was all from a two story building without an elevator. All Star Movers were very professional They arrived on time, introduced themselves, completed a walk through, developed a plan, divided into teams, and got to work. The best part of the move for me was that I didn't have to manage them. They knew their job and got to work. Throughout the move, everyone had a positive attitude and were very courteous. I never heard the word "can't". They worked continuously and at a good pace. This move was a big deal for our small company. Many of the employees had been at the old location for many years, some for decades. It helped having movers who made the process of moving easy for the employees who were leaving their long time offices that had been their home for so many years. I especially want to thank Don, the owner, for making sure everything was going smoothly, Skylar for his great organizational skills, and Ryan and Gage for working steadily till the end with energy and a great attitude. I can't thank you enough... Rachel B. Controller read more

I've waited about five months to review BAM as I wanted to see if I found anything missing or damaged. I have not. Let me tell you about a move from you-know-where: First, I underestimated how much I had packed. On the initial form I marked something like "Mostly packed." To my thinking, I was. But, oh, how wrong I was. I probably threw this company a week off schedule as there was so much to pack and load AFTER I had been packing for two solid months. Our move took two 26-foot trucks, SIX men, approximately TWELVE hours, and THIRTEEN pickups and drop offs. We moved our household from our then-current residence and a storage unit 40 miles away to a home, an office, and another storage unit. FURTHER, at the same time we moved my husband's mother's furnishings from a home in East Boulder to the home we were then vacating! My husband and I have moved, oh, about 12-15 times in our marriage. Never -- AND I MEAN NEVER -- have we had such careful, patient, respectful, accommodating movers. From the initial phone call to the time we parted, about 10:00 pm the night of the move, we and our possessions were treated with the upmost courtesy. If you use any company other than Boulder All-Star Movers, you are out of your mind. You'll never do better than these folks. Never. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Evan, Jeremy, and Pete for a move from Broomfield to Salida--and honestly, these guys crushed it. They showed up right at 9am (not a minute late), introduced themselves, and immediately got to work. No fuss, no wasted time. Just a solid crew of professionals who clearly knew what they were doing. Each of them had a role, and it was obvious they'd done this a hundred times over. One handled unloading, another was a machine hauling things inside, and one was the go-to guy for disassembling and reassembling furniture like a total pro. What stood out most was how seamlessly they worked together--respectful, polite, efficient, and just... on it. They had an answer or best practice for every single item we owned, and somehow managed to make moving look easy (which anyone who's moved knows is not the case). The pricing was transparent and totally fair, and the real kicker? Not a single item was damaged during the move. Unpacking was actually pleasant because nothing came with a surprise dent or scratch. If you're moving anywhere in Colorado, I can't recommend this crew enough. Jeremy, Evan, Pete--thank you again. You made a stressful process feel smooth and even enjoyable. We really appreciated your hard work and care! read more

I've used BAM twice in the last two years of moving around Colorado. Could not have more words of praise for the gentlemen that moved me. On the second time moving, the freight elevator was down in my building and while the property was getting it fixed, the guys went back and forth using the other service elevators. It had also started pouring down rain and not once did I hear a word of complaint. They made the stressful situation a total breeze and even comforted me when I was so anxious with all the hic-ups with my building and weather. Moving is a stressful time in general but with both times I used BAM, the team was responsive, professional and quick; it was a total relief. Both times I moved, the guys helped me put my bed frame together (I would have been sleeping with my mattress on the floor without their help!) and had zero damage to any of my furniture. They wrapped everything thoroughly and were incredibly careful with all of my more delicate items. I would HIGHLY recommend using them for any big or small move. The owners as well are super friendly and make the entire booking process extremely easy. Website is user friendly and I couldn't speak more highly of the service and staff. I will be using them again in any future moves! read more

I booked our move with Boulder All Star Movers based on the Yelp reviews. The backfire staff were professional, helpful, and reliable. I've had a number of negative experiences with movers in the past, so I was a little apprehensive about this move. Drey showed up with a clean, well equipped truck with Rob, Ryan, and Dave right on time. The crew was thorough, careful with our belongings, incredibly polite, and professional. Everything got wrapped carefully, any damages to the furniture called out, and whatever I needed done got done right away. Our wood floors and carpets were protected, and everything got moved with great care. Drey quickly and accurately figured out that I had underestimated the amount of furniture we were moving, and talked me through our options without any pressure. In the end the crew put in overtime, working hard the entire day, to make two runs to finish our move in one day as I had hoped. All in all, it was a perfect move and an incredibly professional experience at a very good price. a lot of the credit goes to the crew of course, but the back office made a big difference as well. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely use Boulder All Star Movers again in the future. Great job all around! read more

Hey...Boulder All Star Movers!. I am a small business owner that used yelp for advertizing. Bet you money this positive will be recommended by Yelp software. You seem to be spending money on Yelp that is why. With me, Yelp only likes to post negative reviews on my business. I don't spend much money on this here fraud system, yelp. I thought I would share what happened to me. I run the same type business you do, movers and junk removal, or did. I am quiting my business because of yelp. I wish you the best though. I hope what happened to me does not happen to you as well. Yelp sucks for business, but if by some miracle, let me know if this went through. I don't make it my business to slander any business whether small or big; yelp does though. My phone # is 785-307-6963 and you guys gave me the best price by running this review. You claim to be running a junk removal service. Can you take to the dump the business Yelp? That would be the best junk removal service ever!!! I requested junk removal for the record...Yelp For Business. Let's take out the junk together...Boulder All Star Movers! Yelp's software is so retarded, I bet it lets this one slip through; and other reviews... me talking smack on them. read more

First, I really like their company logo, which is not at all what I based my rating on, but it's worth mentioning (imo). We recently hired Boulder All Star Movers to unload our things from a 16' moving truck into a two-story townhouse. Reasons my partner and I agree this is a 5-star business: - they showed up when they said they would - they were knowledgeable and experienced about moving our things - very fast, efficient, and yet nothing was broken or damaged by them - they even helped my partner set up his squat rack and mount it to his lifting platform in our house - the business owner, Don, is extremely responsive and helpful - great communication from team as a whole. they were able to accommodate us on fairly short notice (probably not something you should bank on, but just saying). we were able to arrange movers while we were on the road, 3 days beforehand. - honestly priced. our original quote was for 3 hours, ended up being 2, and we were only charged for 2. Many thanks to Noah (first point of contact, arranged our order), Tyler, Josh, and Jake (fantastic team of movers!), and Don, the business owner. Worth every penny and highly recommended. read more

I can't say enough great things about Boulder All Star Movers! We recently used their services to help move our daughter from one home to another in Boulder, and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the moment they arrived, the team was incredibly professional, friendly, and ready to get to work. They handled everything with care and attention to detail, ensuring that all of our daughter's belongings were packed and moved safely. The movers were not only efficient but also maintained a clean and organized process throughout the entire move. What really stood out to us was how helpful and accommodating they were. Moving can be stressful, but Boulder All Star Movers made it so much easier with their positive attitudes and willingness to go above and beyond. Their friendly demeanor turned a potentially hectic day into a smooth and even enjoyable experience. Without a doubt, we will be using Boulder All Star Movers again for any future moves. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and friendly moving company in Boulder, I highly recommend giving them a call. They truly are all-stars! read more

BAM was recommended to me by a friend who's mom had worked with them to move to Oregon. My husband and I were moving back to Colorado from Massachusetts. John and Ryan were a father son duo and they were phenomenal. They took the care to wrap all of our wood furniture and secured everything so well in the truck. The only damage from the move was two broken wine glasses due to my own poor packing -- everything else was completely unscathed. I will need to move some antique furniture out of storage in a couple of months and will be asking for John and Ryan -- they treated every item as if it was important to us and valuable, even if it was a cheap piece from IKEA. Decent price as well for a move across country, and they made it over in a couple of days. Would highly recommend. On top of exceptional service, both were professional and friendly. I've had some movers who expected me to help with loading and unloading, but these two wanted to take care of everything. After the stress of packing and selling, this was a welcome reprieve. Thank you both for getting us home so quickly and being so great to work with! read more

Great experience with the Boulder All Star Movers team! Booking was super easy. I spoke to a rep on the phone that was very personable and answered all my questions and put all my concerns to rest. When the day arrived for my move, Brandon and Dane arrived right on time and were very polite, courteous and professional. After a bit of paperwork, the two of them set to the task at hand. They did an awesome and diligent job at wrapping up all my furniture to ensure there was no damage, which I greatly appreciated since I try to keep it all looking as new as the day I bought it. They were machines who had everything loaded up in the truck and on its way to the new place in no time. They were just as professional when unloading - asking me where I wanted things, handling everything as if it were there own stuff, and ensuring that nothing got damaged in my new residence. All around best moving experience I have had, and I have had many. Moving how moving should be done. Thank you Brandon and Dane and the Boulder All Star Mover team! Top notch! read more
