Looks better than it tasted. Was like sawing through wood.

Want a good arm workout? Order the entrecôte with bone marrow. I requested my steak medium and it was full of gristle and I could barely cut through it. As my smartass boyfriend would say, the steak "still had the stripes from where the jockey was beating it". I sawed away at the steak and I thought I was going to break my finger! I looked at another table's steaks and they too were sawing away and chewing the steak like a cow chews cud. Afterwards, our waiter asked us how the food was and we both told him "tough". He didn't look surprised. They have good ravioli though. Don't listen to the bozos who rated this place five stars! I've had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse.

I really had high hope for this place cuz a friend recommended it to us. I got the rib steak, bone marrow and mashed potato (26 euro). The bone marrow was mostly just fat but has good flavor. The rib steak was way to tough. My arms and jaw are getting a workout from cutting/ chewing it. The flavor is good and the steak is juicy but way too tough. The mashed potato is pretty standard. Other guest seems to enjoy their meals. So maybe I just didn't order right. Based on other reviews I read, the waiters seem to know that the rib steak is very tough so I wish he would have mentioned it to us. Service is ok. They have English menu. We were the only Asian guest and they seem to be more attentive to Caucasian guests. He didn't even ask us if we like what we ordered which he had asked everyone else.

A great find in St Germain for a family of 4. Got here for an "early" dinner at 7pm. Great service. Kids loved cod fish in soy glaze. We gave them fries from our steak tartare plate . Delicious E30 Cote d Rhône.

The vegetable ravioli with cream sauce was easily the best ravioli I have ever had. Also, the creme brûlée was wonderful. Complete bliss.

Great little place - the meat all comes from their own farm, and it is very good. Loved the truffle ravioli and the steak tartare!

I went there because of the good yelp reviews and...what a disapointment. The worst steak ever, we couldn't finish it. Unchewable.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

They had an impressive lineup of signature cocktails, but in a rare flash of memory from English Lit 101, I felt compelled to channel Hemingway's Jake Barnes in The Sun Also Rises, and chose Champagne instead. As expected the service was flawless. Immediately upon being seated, a young lady brought us olives and mix nuts in a divided dish. The waiter soon followed to take our initial order. Pro tip- They open at 5 pm so get there 10-15 minutes before to stand in line. We got there at 4:45 and there were several people ahead of us. It's a small intimate bar that only seats about 20 something people and it filled up within minutes after we were seated. We saw multiple people getting turned away and when we left, there was a long line at the door. Cheers!!

The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips. I highly recommend that here if you are familiar with your companions. Call your banker first as $30 per drink is average! But the girl I raised bought it so whatever? Wish I photographed that menu!! Seeing this hotel property alone is worth it right down to the gilded bathrooms excellently attended. We did not try the food as they were just about to convert to first dinner service and we had Xmas Eve dinner for the family booked at a different Michelin star restaurant later. I'll bet the food is the shizzle though!!!
