Excellent French dining right by La Republique. Les Parigots offers signature French cuisine at decent prices. The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The wine is excellent and the food is superb. I opted for a French beef tartare and it exceeded my expectations. Service was stellar. Would highly recommend!

Came here on the weekend. Very fun vibe inside. Friendly staff. I got the Beef bourguignon. The sauce tasted great and the beef was cooked very well so the meat was very soft and melted in my mouth.

Well Covid travel restrictions are eased and I'm traveling again. So, my first trip back to Paris and of course I'm back!! Thankfully nothing has changed here. Food is still exceptional, and thankfully most of the staff is still here. Had their Monkfish risotto special tonight and as usual this was so good. Staff is still engaging and is still my goto for a good meal and relaxing time near the Renaissance Rebublique. Happy to be back.

I've been here before and it's always great quality food and very well prepared. I got to enjoy the lunch fixed menu. The first course was sautéed chard with shavings of beautiful cheddar cheese. The second course were a perfectly cooked skirt steak with house cut fries, served with a fresh side salad. All top notch!

A few things about this place were really great, but overall it wasn't the best option for us as tourists. The fries were great, as was the daily special appetizer we got which was a baked goat cheese on some toast and salad. The atmosphere is pretty cool too. As for the not so great...The steaks looked nice when they came out but they were chewy and really fatty. I'm sure I could have ordered something else but Yelp steered us in a great direction a few times before this restaurant so we figured we'd hit the jackpot here, but we didn't. Also the bathroom needed a lot of upkeep, even by Parisian restaurant standards. No soap and no toilet seat. Not that big of a deal until you see your server leaving and you know they couldn't possibly have been able to wash their hands. Language wise - some of the staff spoke English, but you'll also be able to make it through the entire menu and ordering process if you don't know much French either. I'd say it's a better place for an appetizer and an afternoon cocktail than a dinner.

Nice place. Service was great. Steak was great quality meat just needed to have it cooked longer and my friends was under cooked as well. Other then that it was still good.

A very friendly and bustling environment to hangout for dinner or just catching up with friends for drinks, note this place has awesome food and wine but don't expect much from the beer menu. You will be seating either in tight tables next to other people or will be placed in a larger table with more room; depending on the number of people that is with you. Bathroom is small but clean. The waiters are very busy so if you need something be sure to wave them down or you won't hear from them for hours. We ordered cheese and meats as well as a chicken dish with mushrooms. The sauce was splendid, and they provided free soft bread. Overall the experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend anyone to come try it out if they are in the area.

This warm comfortable café is what most Americans think of when imagining a meal among the neighborhood natives. For those of you who want to eat in a classic casual place away from tourists, Les Parigots has two added incentives for Anglophone visitors: they serve food all afternoon, without a mid afternoon break between lunch and dinner; and they have an English menu printed on the reverse of their French one. Even with the restaurant completely full, I did not hear one word of English, so I'm not sure why they had the translated menu, perhaps having it printed avoided having the servers trying to explain the menu to any non French speakers. The menu choices include enough variety for vegetarians, meat lovers, and fish eaters, all very reasonably priced for quality ingredients. The front room has views of the street, and behind the bar, there is a back area for larger groups. We opted for sidewalk view and ordered 4 kirs to start and a 46 ml carafe of red Samur to share with our meal, totaling about 40 Euros or $50 USD for all our drinks for the four of us. Two of my friends ordered the mushroom risotto, made with shiitakes, served with a side arugula salad and confit walnuts for 16 Euros, or about $18 USD. I found the rice needed salt, but since a salt cellar was on the table alongside a pepper grinder, it was no problem to add it. I ordered the hand cut beef tartare, which came with crispy excellent fries, and a nicely dressed side salad for 16 Euros, or about $18 USD. Condiments were offered on the side, including Worcestershire, tabasco, mustard, and ketchup, so I happily mixed my tartare to my taste. The meat was tender, lightened by bits of Granny Smith apple, and although I appreciate cheese, I picked out the cubes in the tartare to eat with my salad rather than my tartare. The other meat lover at lunch ordered the steak for 25 Euros or $30 USD which she requested bleu (very rare) but warm. It came bleu but not warm, and it was such a large piece of meat that it took her 30 minutes more than the rest of us to finish her meal. Since everything is made in house, the desserts were creations that allowed the chef to be fanciful, like this grapefruit "pie" on a cookie crust, and this "soup" of clementines with cardamon and bits of meringue; both desserts were 8 Euros or $9 USD, and both were refreshingly light ways to end a meal.

I was getting hungry on a Tuesday and this place seemed to one of the better places that was actually open for lunch. The waiter was very nice, always smiley and quite attentive. They even have an English menu, yay! I ordered the burrata fumee and the carpaccio de boeuf. The burrata fumee was smoked burrata cheese on top or an eggplant caviar and surrounded by hazelnut pesto and tomatos. Overall it was really really good. I enjoyed the eggplant and I especially loved the pesto. I'm also not usually a tomato fan but the tomatoes were so good, juicy, and sweet that I definitely ate most of them. The smoked cheese had a smokey flavor that was great but to me the cheese itself was a bit too rich. But that's just personal taste. Regardless, the dish was delicious! The beef carpaccio came with a light salad on top and fries on the side. The salad was great, the dressing was not to overwhelming, and the beef came with a generous helping of parmasan cheese. The beef however was very tender and what I expected raw beef to taste like. It was also lightly salted which enhanced the flavors. I definitely loved the fries though, as they were crispy on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside. Overall, delicious meal and nice service.

Decent French Brasserie. Great service and good food... I will say my "Crispy Sausage" looked a lot more like a burrito than anything else and the sausage itself was far softer then I expected. Not sure I'd order that again. But the fish and chips, steak and charcuterie plates were all acceptable dishes.

We had dinner here last night and it was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious and the ambience was informal and chic.

It's not easy finding a cozy, yummy spot to dine at 7pm on a Sunday that's cool for kids. After searching for a good 45 minutes we spotted the warm glow of the Parigots terrasse and asked if they would serve us they said YES with a brimming smile. The room at Parigots is really something. It is super warm and lovely, with its sepia colored walls, decorative ceiling, large Zinc bar, candle-lit tables and cool, retro trinkets scattered about. The vibe is very warm and romantic, had we not been dining en famille it could have been a great date spot to have an apéro of planches de charcuterie and some lovely wine from the great wine list. When we walked in they were playing Boogie Oogie Oogie and for the rest of the night we grooved out to the super soundtrack of disco/soul from the 70s and 80s that was totally up my alley! The meal was surprisingly better than expected. My Romaine salad, a kind of Caesar salad, was loaded with moist chicken and crispy bacon and a copious amount of shaved Parmesan. But the real star of the meal were the home made french fries which came in a little Belgian cornet. They were piping hot, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and has a lovely flavor to them. Definitely the best fries I've had near Répubique.

The staff was all very friendly and inviting and were happy to recommend their favorite dishes to us. My wife ordered a French onion soup and one of their famously large salads, which are served in these big bowls. I decided to try the chef's special, which was a beef tenderloin a la rossini (truffle sauce and foie gras). I'm not typically a foie gras fan, but I figured since we're in Paris that I'd give it a shot. I'm very glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. The steak melded perfectly with the truffle sauce and fois gras. This was all served with potatoes au gratin, and blanched green beans. Everything was perfect. I also ordered two large beers. A Grimbergin blonde and a Kronenbourg ale. I love how both beers were served in their respective brand's glasses. Such a nice touch. For dessert, we ordered an Apple Tarte Tartin, upon a recommendation from one of the staff. It was light, sweet, and served with some ice cream and créme fraîce. This was such a great dinner all around. Great food, great vibes, which all lead to a great evening. Would definitely recommend!

For New Year's Eve they offered a special menu, 79 € per person. The host outside who convinced us to splurge for the special occasion said our kiddo wouldn't pay full price. Spoiler: that's not how it went. We were seated in back by the restrooms, with the sound of the hand-dryer serenading our meal. From what I could tell, apart from the staff, there wasn't a single French-speaking person in the whole place, a bad sign. For appetizers we had the escargots, which could have benefited from more garlic and butter, the foie gras, which was fine, and the smoked salmon, which was a generous portion, and very smokey. For my main, I ordered the duck in honey sauce, which would have been a good plate, served with salad, but for some reason they plated it with cold vegetables: green beans, bell pepper, and eggplant under congealing butter--Tasted like it was made ahead of time and they forgot to reheat it out of the fridge before scooping onto my plate. Total fail. My kiddo got the knuckle of lamb, which was fatty and gristly, although the mashed potatoes underneath were delicious, and my wife chose the fettuccine with shrimp and scallops, which were both overcooked and the scallops were crunchy, which was weird, served over way too much plain noodles. The desserts were good, but we paid over 240 € for three, with only one drink each, making it both the most expensive and also least delicious meal of our trip so far. Staff were friendly and attentive, and all addressed us in English, even though I'm fluent in French, which makes sense for a tourist trap. Would not recommend, unless maybe you just get the big cheap salad, seemingly that's what the 5-star reviews are for.

No tourists; only locals and repeat French customers. We sat outside. ORDERED: *FOIE GRAS House made and simply DIVINE on freshly toasted baguette bread. I wanted to take a bath in this. OMG! *DUCK CONFIT Beautiful leg served with scalloped potatoes. The meat could have been a bit more tender, but overall a good solid entree. *FRUIT TART Good, but not great. The pastry could have baked a bit longer. Loved the sweet plums though. We also ordered a bottle of their excellent Cabernet France for 17 euros. My darling didn't care for their espresso and I was not impressed with their version of a cappuccino. Dinner altogether was 73 euros. OTHER NOTES ============= Some of their staff members are from Le Mascote restaurant, but since the restaurant is currently closed; they cooked and served here. Same quality of food; cheaper in price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the wine, foie gras, and any seafood dish. They have great daily specials.

The menu consists of typical French fare with your duck confit and your steak tartar etc. The wine is sold by volume and all priced at the same rate. Bulk of the other clientele consists of local repeat customers, as we saw a lot of them greeting the bar tender affectionately. For lunch, we had the duck confit and the Lyon sausages (one of the day's specials). The waiter recommended a strong red wine to go with the duck and a lighter, younger chilled red to go with the sausages. He hit it spot on in terms of the pairing. Both main courses were simple and delicious. We ended our meal with wonderful house-made chocolate mousse. Having stumbled onto this little place on the last day of our week long trip in Paris, we were pleasantly surprised with our wonderful experience at Le Colibri. Simple and authentic, this is definitely our favourite place to eat in Paris.
