Dropped by Bottles & Cans recently and had a good experience. Parking was very convenient because Bottles & Cans is part of a strip mall, so no problems there. They had a pretty decent selection of beers available, and I was impressed that you could get pretty much any type of beer as a singleton (versus having to buy a 4 pack or whatever). I did feel like the refrigerated section could have been a bit larger, but they did have a few good choices in there. They had a big selection of beers available on tap, and while I didn't partake this time, I was kind of tempted by the quadrupel :) The bartender was nice and helpful throughout my visit. Overall, if you're in the area, this seems like a nice place to stop and grab a beer. I've seen slightly better selection of beers elsewhere, but I do think you could find something you like here :) read more

Professional and welcoming staff. The staff here are extremely engaging and helpful in allowing me to taste things on tap before I made a final decision. There are a variety of options on tab and I even found one of my favs here "Ginger Revenge." No complaints. There are a few events going on here and food trucks that visit, so I hope to make an appearance here again as this is convenient to my side of town and the commute is effortless. read more

Owner was extremely rude. We originally ordered one sample then ordered 4 drinks had asked for another one sample to which we were told we don't allow 6 samples and I'm surprised you are going to a beer you already said you didn't want. Yes that is correct, we were trying different beers. Don't have a tap room if you don't want people to try what you have available. We did I fact purchase 6 full drinks and this is the treatment received, for maybe an ounce of sampling beer to see if we wanted to change our mind. read more

I'm going to split my review for this place because one shouldn't affect the other. Bottle shop: This place has a lot of selection! A lot of their beers seem to be harder to find or higher ABV because they were a bit pricey. Half the store is wine, so you should definitely be able to find something good. You can order craft beer on draft, get a can from the cooler, order a "mixed" drink like a sangria or beer-mosa, or get a glass of wine. Staff: To me, it felt like the guy who was working last night was picky about who he chose to help quickly. Both times I went to the bar to order he either kept working on something else and made me stand there waiting (The girl there ended up helping me because of him not addressing me). When I closed out I had to wait again while he wasted a minute trying to give a dog a treat. I wasn't impressed with the service. read more

Bottles and Cans is your favorite neighborhood hangout. It's conveniently walking distance from my apartment in Morrisville so that's a plus, too We've been several times and have had pleasant experiences every time. We went last night and sat at the bar. Very lively crew at night and fun to be here. I like that the bartender allows you to taste before you buy--their cider is awesome. I also like their Prosecco. I'm not usually a beer drinker but they have something on tap for everyone. Their shop is really neat inside--one of the bartenders helped us find a wine that ended up being a hit at wine night last time. They also have an impressive craft beer collection. Their patio allows people to take advantage of warm, sunny days and dogs are allowed. Something cool I noticed last night was the $2 cooking wine section--because no one wants to pay an arm and a leg for something being reduced down. read more

Wonderful and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door! A dog or two may greet you as you walk in just fyi as four leggeded friends are welcome here. The staff are amazing and helpful! They have a good mix of wine and beers on tap and I love that you can try before you buy! Also, love that they have such a great selection of beers and wines to take home. A nice neighborhood wine/beer shop. Great events, such as this week's Oktoberfest w/ live music. Every other week or so they have a food truck out front. And last, the owners Steve and Amy, are friendly and knowledgeable on what they serve. Update 11/29/19 - still the best neighborhood drinking spot in town! Very relax environment. Best of all, you don't have to get an entire 6 pack - you can pick out single cans as well, which was great! They are a dog-friendly space and host a number of events here like discounted days ($1 off all drafts on Mondays and half price bottles & cans) and food truck Tuesdays from 5-8pm. read more

This is a neat bottle shop in the strip mall area by chapel hill road. The collection of beers on tap was truly outstanding. It was one of those times when I really wished I could drink 3 beers in a day. The stouts, dark beers were from Copenhagen, Asheville, Western America- the range was broad and the taste was spectacular. Some seriously boozy levels there ranging from 8% to a whooping 13-14% beers. I loved the wines they had too, but it was a beer-day for us. The IPAs were great too making one wish for at least 2-3 drinks on tap that day. In general they update the beer list on Untappd. They have a $1 pints on Mondays? and some half price bottles and cans on Thursdays. They have outside seating and limited inside seating as well! read more

Holy MOLY - get the Hard Latte if you like chocolate milk. It's delicious! The guy working was friendly and quick. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because when we first walked in, there was a STRONG smell of trash. Not sure what that was about. Short version: I enjoyed what I found at Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop. Nice beverage selection for taking home, and a good variety of draft beer and wine to drink at the shop if you'd like. Ownership/staff is very nice and B&C delivers a very welcoming overall package. I really like these guys! The Deets: When riding around on the way home this weekend, the Open Now sign over at Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop caught our eye so we went to check it out. This bottle shop is very nicely done, very open for the given space they have but plenty of beverages shelved to peruse to take home. I like their selection, even a decent cider section which I particularly enjoy. With a bar set up in back, they have a pretty nice selection of beers on tap as well as wine by the glass on tap as well. If not wanting to sit at the bar, they have a nice TV lounge like area, tables located on the side next to the windows, seating outside the front door as well as a nice patio seating setup in the back. The beer menu has good variety, not like some places that have half their menu filled up with IPAs since it's the going "thing" lately. The variety of both draft beer and wine selections made a good impression on me. The owners/staff were very positive, receptive, and helpful. I also found out that even though they do not serve food here, they have a deal worked out with Famous Toastery a couple of doors down where you can order food to be delivered to B&C and also get a percentage (20%) off your order as well. This bottle shop is quaint and inviting, and worth a look-see. Enjoying a couple of beverages there, B&C grew on me and I really see me spending more time here in the future. read more

A great location is matched only by the hospitality of Steve and Amy. The beer selections and wine selections are special and truly hand picked. I love the fact that we can bring our dog with us and he is most welcome. The shop also has great wifi allowing you to grab an after work drink while still finishing up that project on your laptop. Beers on tap are served in a variety of sizes from 2oz to 32 oz growlers. They even have wine on tap and growlers for the wine as well. With their great collection of wines and weekly wine tastings, this is your newest local bottle shop with a focus on the beer and wine you love to drink. Nice spot with a great selection of beer and wine. Nice seating areas and outdoor seating. Dog friendly as well. My main complaint is that the bartender was not very attentive. She had an attitude and acted like it was such a chore to work there. I also heard her mention something about being hungover. Thankfully I don't generally get to this part of town very often so I won't be visiting on a regular basis but I will give it another try when I'm around. read more

Instead of being a descent human being and taking them aside or in the back room, he speaks very condescendingly to them no matter who is around. Aw! One of my favorite bottle shops in this area! I am no expert when it comes to all those special beer and wine(yeah I know, cliche haha), but I gotta say, they have amazing beer/wine selections. And you know what's better? you can bring your doggies here! I love pet friendly places, and I actually brought my puppy here one day and owners loved him! Both of owners are very friendly and nice and they always give me lots of suggestions. I love their ambiance as well, it looks so cute outside(especially during the night time) and it's a little bit small inside but like I said, they have tons of beer and wine so no worries haha. This was my first time coming here with a friend and I was not disappointed. I tasted a few wines and beers on tap and they were all very flavorful. The bar attendant was also very friendly and knowledgeable about what was offered. I will definitely be coming back! Next time I will check out the actual shop part of it. It is a very classy little shop, and I'd definitely recommend if you are trying to have a relaxing night out or just a night with friends. Pictured is the luminescent lager. One of my favorites I've tried since I am not a fan of dark beers. They sell bottles of wine and beer and they also have a bar and some sofas and high tables to sit at. I got a 5oz glass of wine for $5. My friend got a halloween themed margarita and it was delicious! The bartender was super nice and let us sample a few wines. I have brought some of my most picky beer aficionados there, people who also brew beer and are familiar with all of the other establishments in this area of this type. They are now converts and they are HARD to please! Great staff, family owned by a delightful couple and amazing service. A few tables outdoors when the weather cooperates and many beer and wine tasting events! Cool, welcoming vibe! Plenty of parking and easy to get to. If you like beer and wine, check it out.
