The staff are fantastic, personable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They really know their craft and are happy to share recommendations on both drinks and food. The ambiance adds so much to the experience, I recommend you to come and relax on the patio or grab a seat at the bar. There's such a great vibe all around that makes you want to stay awhile. Once they arrived, the staff gave us a few minutes to make sure the 2 had a chance to look at the menus. We ordered appetizers to start...corn bread, sage fried pierogies and poutine. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). As time got closer to the festival to start, it did get crowded, but the staff handled the influx of people and people were seated relatively quickly. With my old man eyes, I actually had to turn on my phone flashlight to read the menu at the bar. I was happy to see the beer menu was very extensive with a solid number of food options as well.
