I went there for my 99,xxx mile service. Nick P. was my service advisor. There is a recommended itemized list from Chevrolet on what services should be preformed. I should not of had to ask for each item on check list, but it wasn't offered. He only mentioned tire rotation and oil change and top off fluids. So after I texted my husband he said to request the recommendations from Chevy. They never checked cabin filter which I most definitely requested. They charged me for tire rotation... which was NOT done. He even mentioned the tires again when picking up and stating what was done. Spark plugs not checked. All fluids were to be changed and instead took it upon themselves to flush and fill my transmission. A flush is quite different than a change; should have only been drained and new filter and fresh fluid. I called Nick P. to report the tire rotation charge when they didn't complete that task. I wasn't offered a refund only that I had to return to have it done. Why would I go back to a place that charged for services not done and did services other than requested? *On a positive note the receptionists are some of the most pleasant ones I've ever spoken to at a business. read more

The miles were a bit higher than advertised online since the vehicle was being driven by one of the managers there. They did tell us this though. It's in a not awesome section of town, but the place is clean and like I said, the car was beautiful. My husband and I ended up at Botnick Chevrolet under unfortunate circumstances when our Equinox broke down on a trip from Buffalo to NYC. Fortunately, we were able to drive it just far enough off the highway to make it to Botnick. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly guy who asked about the car issues and said the techs would look at it ASAP. We waited about 2 hours for a diagnostic but the waiting room was nice and there was coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. When the diagnostic was complete, we were told that a part needed to be ordered and it would arrive tomorrow morning. We were assured the car would be ready in the morning and we'd be back on the road by 9:30-10am. The gentleman who helped us when we first arrived suggested a variety of hotels, looked up the phone numbers and also provided us with a number of restuarants that were nearby. The next morning we got a call at 8:30 (an hour before expected) to say our car was all fixed and ready for pick up. They offered to shuttle us from the hotel to the dealership but we had already scheduled a shuttle with the hotel. We paid our bill and were out of the dealership and back on the road within 10 minutes. They even washed the car for us! We haven't had any issues since and we're very grateful for their service, efficiency and expertise. read more

I even have them perform service on a vehicle I didn't purchase from them. While certain items are ALWAYS more expensive to have done at the service department of any dealership, the prices they charge for oil changes and maintenance items are quite reasonable. This place gives you the key code for free and makes the key for $8.95. That price beats out even my locksmith who wanted $11.95. We found the perfect Chevy Volt in Binghamton. Unfortunately, we live 330 miles away near Boston MA. I texted a couple questions to Raymond and he responded almost instantly. Raymond kept track of the paperwork and kept us informed along the way. The car was better than he described. He indicated its condition was a 7 out of 10, and I was pleased to find it was a 9.5 out of 10. Raymond kept in touch, but understood I needed time to research everything and think things over..then discuss it with my daughter. These guys are honest and hard working. ZERO RATING. Stay away from this place. Jason Bale is a con artist in sales. Pushes an extended warranty for vehicle and says total review of vehicle was done at sale. 18,000 miles later CV joints and axle are bad and of course its not covered under extended warranty. They agree to work a price of $400 to get work done which was nice of them considering it shouldnt of never been sold like that; I wait months to get a itemized list of what is wrong to fight the extended warranty company and "it was lost and never put in the system". So I have to Bring car back less than 3 months later to have car reviewed to get a new itemized list to fight the warranty company and because they said its wear and tear (which should of been caught at time of sale) its not covered so once they know that they mark up the price to $627. The same parts and same work went up $227 in less than 3 months for a customer who is already upset. Of course since the original list is not there to compare where the $227 is they say "part pricing went up". Stay away from this location there are far many other service and dealers who are reputable. Jason avoids phone calls and emails and has the service guys answer. $227 because they know they have you and I am still paying for the extended warranty that he got his commission on. read more

I only write this review to make sure my GREAT experience is known. I was driving back to NYC and my Audi broke down on the highway near the dealer. The car was towed to Botnick Chevy as there are no Audi dealers in Binghamton. From the get go I worked with Patrick in the service department. Due to the severity of the work he recommended I find out whether Audi will cover it under warranty. He explained the issues, told me exactly what to do, provided me with phone numbers and personally handled my transition over to Audi to have the work done under warranty. The dealer could have easily hit me up for labor, parts, diagnostic, etc. but they didn't. They gave me an honest, professional opinion and subsequently did the right thing by assisting me to get my car over to Audi. This is what old-fashioned, honest hard work looks like. I'm no car expert and certainly could have been taken advantage of if my car were towed somewhere else. I'm positive that people in business like Patrick are taken for granted. I'm only here to say that he didn't need to go to the lengths he did for me as an Audi owner, but he did. And he did it from a moral fabric that doesn't exist everywhere. If the entire dealership is as honest and ethical as Patrick then take your business here. read more
