They have a nice selection, but the service is not great. I tried to get a hat trimmed, but they couldn't give me a straight answer as to when the person who does that would be there, and they said I needed to be there right at 10 a.m. After calling a couple times and getting different information, I decided to go somewhere else where they trimmed my hat in 10 minutes, they had a huge selection of western attire, and had reasonable prices. Being invited to a Western theme birthday party meant I spending money because I don't own any cowboy boots. So I searched high and low. I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on some cowboy boots because I knew I wouldn't wear them often. I would have been completely satisfied with some synthetic cowboy boots, but after driving across town, I didn't find any. Well I succumbed to spending $86 on leather cowboy boots. I came two times here. My first visit, I didn't stay long or didn't even look much because when I was told that the cheapest pair of boots they had were $79, I said, "Nope, no thank you!". I guess I was hoping to luck up on some synthetic cowboy boots at an ALL leather western wear store lol. The young lady was really sweet and helpful, nonetheless. So the next day, the day of the party, I still couldn't find any synthetic cowboy-looking boots, so I gave in and decided to go ahead and purchase some leather cowboy boots, and I knew exactly where I was going to go- Botas Guadalajara! I walked in and the young lady and I'm assuming the older lady was her mother said, "You're back?!". They led me to the $79 women boots. They had a mass selection of $79 boots. They didn't have my size but they had some very similar looking men boots in my size. Score! They are really cute, and I would wear them often. Botas Guadalajara has a wide selection of Mexican-made leather boots, shoes, belts, and western wear clothing at a reasonable price. I brought a pair of cuadra caiman color almond to the store to do a nail repair on one of the boots they were almost new but decided to get them touch up as a cleaning to the leather , when i went to pick them up a week later the nail was properly fixed but the boots didn't really look color almond anymore they were almost white looked like the old man that did the buffing on them polish the heck outta them to were he burn the color paint of the boots an the touch up on the hill looked all dripped I tried being as polite to ask what was done to them besides the nail fixed because the boots were all discolored the man just obviously tried to brush it off by saying ooo well we did what u asked for u asked for a cleaning i was like yea but i told him u nearly pealed all the color off I would of expected him to either reimburse the repairs or do something about it but he just said o well u dont have to come here anymore i said thats fine it will happen once but not twice an walked off he had a line of 10 customers all witnessed his work , don't bring your hats or boots here if u dont wanna be upset maybe purchasing boots might be ok but not getting work done on hats or boots i will be posting pictures of the before an after color of the boots read more

It was shirts, pants, sobreros, boots anything and the selection is huge so you have to like something that they have check it out plus it has tons of parking. Let me start by saying that I have a big head...lol...before visiting them I went to several stores and i had no luck finding a Sombrero to fit me and at a good price. When I visited this store, both ladies took the time to show me different options..explain me the difference between a Sombrero and a tejana...after 30 mins trying sombreros , I was able to find one . After searching high and low for cowboy boots that were a bit different than the norm I made the trek to Paramount from Chino, CA and let me tell you it was sooooo worth it. I found beautiful Cuadra boots that are so soft and beautiful I plan on wearing them all summer. I had read the reviews for this store and I was in a similar situation. My best friends birthday at a country western bar and I am so not a country girl. I don't own boots and went to all the other big brand stores where by the way, wasn't even greeted when I I walk in. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the dough but the ladies at the store especially Blanca, were very sincere and showed me different styles and price ranges.
