Alexis made the experience as painless as possible. She was also very understanding of my sensitivity and allowed me to take breaks when needed. She even provided me with a stress ball which was a nice touch. She provided me with tips on how to care for myself and make the next session more comfortable. I also went home with the recommended sugar scrub for exfoliation and ingrown hair serum which you can get a sample of in their welcome package! The facilities were super clean and the bed was comfortable. I even scheduled my next appointment before I left so I can make sure I stay consistent. I will definitely be coming back again and again! 10/10 Recommend for all your sugaring needs!…read more It was my first time getting sugared and my first Brazilian done by someone else so I was quite nervous but Sharnay did such a good job making the process as quick and comfortable as possible. I wanted to get sugared for a while now and finally decided to contact Sharnay after looking at other Yelp reviews. She was able to fit me in. She is located in the building across from Kaiser Hospital. Her space is upstairs which was easy to find with her very clear directions I received after booking and the signs presented near the door. There is also plenty of street parking across the street near McKinley HS. When I first walked in, I noticed the room was decorated with plants and crystals-- which is just my style. The room for the sugaring was clean and wipes were provided. The process was a lot shorter than I was expecting, around 15-20 minutes for everything GONE! It was also a lot less painful than regular waxing at home. Will be going back for my 7 week maintenance!

She responded to me quickly and was able to accommodate me in her schedule the same day. Easy location to find, only issue I had was the parking I missed the spot fast and had to circle around the building. You'd have to be lucky to get out the driveway onto traffic and in a busy intersection to circle around. Anyways, when I got in side the studio Sharnay made me feel comfortable and relaxed. This was my first time sugaring and threading! She was awesome! Kept checking in on me if I'm doing okay, and she was fast. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone that wants to make the switch to a natural alternative for hair removal. Mahalo Sharnay! I'll definitely be back for more

And it's located on the second floor and you have to go to an intercom thing to ring the place and they buzz you in. It is very secure... not anyone can roam around the second floor which I appreciate! I had my first appointment with her today and she made me feel so comfortable! I started my appointment a little early because she was ready and it maybe took 20 minutes total! This was my first time getting sugaring done for a Brazilian. I've done the at home wax machine but that takes like 2 hours and is the most painful thing ever since you're basically inflicting pain on yourself. I don't know why I didn't start coming here sooner! She makes you feel very comfortable and kind of talks to you while she's doing it so you almost forget what she's doing! Yes it was painful but she makes the whole experience pleasant! I am so excited that my gf told me about this place and to be honest it was quite a peaceful break from my busy work day!

Also, she had an available spot open for me the next day of being in contact with her! Lillian is awesome! She explained exactly what the process was and what she was doing while "sugaring" me. She said that all the products are made of natural ingredients and that the process of sugaring was less painful than waxing. Supposedly the hair grows back lighter and eventually with some maintenance, it doesn't grow back at all! Also, the TV is up high so you can take your mind off of the task at hand. She gets down! hahaha It can be a little uncomfortable at first but she's good at what she does and tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible by talking to you the whole time. I'm so used to waxing so this sugaring thing, wasn't bad at all. She's still pulling out the hairs, however, it's less stressful on your skin. Also, it's cheaper than most spa's that do brazlian waxing. Can't wait to go back to see her again. Don't let the location fool you. The inside of her studio is private and smells nice too. I had an exceptional experience with Lillian! Can't wait to get sugared again! haha

I do very little make up because at work I'm covered head to toe and stand 10+ hours everyday besides recovering from a broken ankle so tend to spoil my feet. I just love the holiday BLING!! Love love love it!! So I decided to get a head start before the madness kicks in and did a convenient online booking for 10:30am with Albee and was so excited, it's at a convenient location on Beretania right after One Kalakaua with private parking lot and how can you not get giddy as you enter the pink palace filled with beautiful decor. I waited as Albee I imagined was busy on her phone which I didn't mind and waited a few minutes and as she got started was still on her phone and apologized but I seriously didn't mind as we all are constantly multi tasking in some form which I why I wanted to get this done. I booked a pedi with art so that they're aware and not upset that I changed services or whatever and showed her a couple of inspired pictures and she didn't seemed impressed. I wanted a dark red glittery base with some silver gradient color she said no can't do glitter on glitter and went on to cut my nails without asking...mind you I was growing it for over a month just for this purpose. It was cut SHORT AND CROOKED!! Also nicked my cuticles and painted the ugliest flat red with a fade a five year old would do better. Paid $50 ($45 service + $5 art) and had the nerve if I was gonna leave tip which I did because I believe in that. There was nothing she agreed with me not the color I chose, no glitter polish, no art, she chose the color, no customer service but I certainly guarantee one thing...No Thanks!! My grandma received the Omakase Facial, something she had wanted to try for a long time. My mom had full-face sugaring and threading, and I had full-face sugaring and threading along with a brow lamination. None of us had experienced these treatments before, so we weren't sure what to expect. From start to finish, Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. She thoroughly explained how to prepare our skin beforehand and made us feel comfortable throughout each treatment. My grandma, who is not easily impressed, was pleased with the results of her facial. My mom couldn't stop talking about how soft and smooth her skin felt after the sugaring and threading. As for me, it was my first time getting a brow lamination, and Jenny did an amazing job shaping and evening out my brows while giving my entire face a clean, polished look. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I was a little nervous about having a reaction to the lamination treatment, but everything went perfectly. I also really appreciate that Jenny carefully selects products she personally uses and trusts, choosing only those that meet high international quality standards. What truly stood out was her level of care. She even followed up the next day to check on how each of our skin was doing after our treatments. That personal touch meant so much and speaks volumes about how dedicated she is to her clients. I highly recommend Jenny to anyone considering a facial, sugaring, threading, brow lamination, or any of the other services she offers. Her expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care made this a wonderful experience for all three of us.
