I had a really disappointing experience with a server named Frank. I came in with two of my friends after soccer, already tired and just looking to grab something without any hassle. Instead, from the moment I walked in, he made me feel uncomfortable. Because I had my hood up, he immediately assumed I was there to rob the store, which is honestly disrespectful and completely uncalled for. I wasn't even in the mood to socialize, but he kept teasing me in front of my friends, who happen to know him, while I had never met him before. What made things worse is that he asked about my race, and when I told him I'm Egyptian, he called me a "gypsy." That's offensive and inappropriate on every level. On top of that, he made fun of me for not giving him a tip, which just added to the overall negative experience. I'm a teenage customer, and this was my first impression of him and it was terrible. No one should be treated like that, especially for just walking in and minding their own business. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses this behavior. read more

I ordered a Salted Caramel Panookie ($7.99). It was quite tasty. It is a giant freshly-baked salted caramel chocolate chunk pizza pan cookie, served with vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with caramel sauce. If you are eating this after a meal, you will need 2-3 people to finish it. The service was good. There are two sections of the restaurant: a regular family dining area and a sports bar area. Both areas have large TVs showing sports games. There is also an outdoor patio. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms. Hmmmm never thought I would enjoy food from a casual chain restaurant this much! I had the jambalaya fettuccine once and it had a good kick to it & very tasty. Lots of shrimp and chicken in it. Came with a piece of toast. It was so filling that I took leftovers home. More recently, I celebrated my birthday there with a large group (close to 20 at my table) and there were other tables in the bar area so service was slow but it didn't put a damper in anything. The food is still fantastic. I had a taste of my friend's Bandera bread and loved it. Definitely going to order this next time. I got the deep fried pickle wedges. Perfectly fried, lightly battered and not oily...so good! My hubby ordered the Italian deli pizza (new item) and I'm amazed at how good it was. Would definitely order this again! This place is so disgusting I couldn't even take photos for you! There are dead flies everywhere. The floor looks like it was never cleaned since they opened. I was barely able to eat the food served in my mouth. While trying to take advantage of their $5 donation for 5 free kids meal - I don't think I'd be visiting this location again unless you plan to clean your own plates before using it. The food served was not even room temperature - it was definitely not worth the price nor was I comfortable even sitting there. Would not recommend this location. read more

The setup though identical to other locations since it is basically a franchise but it does have something unique that other franchise locations does not offers. Local Crafted Beer Falcon Ale from Stouffville Brewing Co available both in Tall Boys and Draft. Triple Bogey from Toronto in Tall Boys. There is also daily drink specials including domestic pints for $3.99 on Sundays, Mondays and other tall boys, bottles, bucket specials. Half-full inside on a Sunday night, I only saw one server, who was also our server. Martin is cheerful and friendly and his service helped the overall 3 stars rating. My neighbour had told me about their fish tacos being good and that's the only reason why I gave this place another chance after bad past dining experiences here. The fish tacos, a summer promotion item, were decent; two strips of tasty, crispy haddock on crispy, grilled tacos. The 7-cheese ravioli wasn't bad either but the pizza bread we ordered to share was bad! My kids ate the bread first and they reached for their drinks right away. I thought that was strange so I took a bite and man, it looks innocently seasoned with herbs but one bite makes your tongue sting from the garlic salt overdose! There was also a fly and a few fruit flies that joined us at our table. The funniest thing was when the birthday brownie was brought out. The host had earlier told me the staff would come and sing Happy Birthday to the Birthday child and serve a brownie with a candle. However, it was only Martin who came over with the plate of brownie and wished my child a Happy Birthday. It was awkward when my older child asked what happened to the other servers! Pasta Tuesday. My wife likes it, but it is just not my cup of tea. The food has the feel of something that has been prepared earlier and warmed up to order. The chicken was clearly frozen and possibly prepackaged. The sauces have this prepared taste to them, and other than quantity for price, it doesn't have much else going for it. Generally I am not a fan of pasta, but overall the food is ok. This is a restaurant that needs a new identity. It's not quite a sports bar, not quite a family restaurant. read more

I think the server needs to understand English better, as I thought she was nice, but absolutely did not understand what we wanted. We ordered nachos as an appetizer. Told her to bring it first but we were also ready to order our meals. The nachos came, and about 10 seconds later, our full meals came! The food was very average at best taste wise. These things are not cheap and a few sprigs of parsley or some embellishment would go a long way to dress up the food. For me, I think that the servers always need to be careful to understand what is being said, and to ask if uncertain. As this kind of mess up does not give the restaurant a good customer experience. I would rather go to the Boston Pizza in Aurora instead and will from now on. They do a better job with training the servers.. read more

Busy place on a Friday night. Probably because it's the only major restaurant within the immediate vicinity of the Walmart and Canadian Tire plaza. And they were playing the Blue Jays versus Yankees game on the television sets which was another reason why. Service was a bit slower than the other Boston Pizza locations we've been to in the past. Don't get me wrong...Our server was great. It was just the time it took for the food to come out. Maybe because it was a busy night? Who knows. We ordered the Butter Chicken Pizza...Meh. Not much of a taste to it. Too many chopped tomato and green onion on top. On the other hand, our double order of fried chicken wings and the Mediterranean salad wasn't bad. I have to give credit where credit is due and after visiting this location a 2nd time, I am upgrading it by one star to three. This time around I had a ten dollar special which featured a Caesar Salad, and personal size spicy chicken and bacon pizza. My friend ordered bacon wrapped 'beef bites' that came with a side of thinly sliced onion rings. Restaurant was a little busier considering its COVID. Our server Riley was fantastic. She knew the menu well and was friendly and efficient. Food was hot and tasted great. The only complaint I would have is the hostesses that seem want to socialize or be on their phones more than work. First time reviewer. I don't mind the food here, its usually pretty good however the customer service is horrible. We ordered a deluxe medium pizza, however the pizza was missing pepperoni after waiting 30 minutes. After advising the waitress, she said she would have another one made, and we can keep the one already done as we are hungry. The waitress then came back and said the manager wants to see the pizza as he does not believe that it is missing the pepperoni, we said okay. The waitress then came back and said she has to keep the pizza otherwise the manager said we will be charged for both. I was having lunch with my wife on January 29, 2016 and when we were served our lunch, my wife noticed after couple of bytes a long hair attached to a piece of fluff in her food. She reported it to the server, and my wife was offered another new plate, which she accepted. Then it was my turn ... and usually, I do't pay too much attention to my served food, and when the plate was almost empty, I couldn't help but notice a black short hair on my own plate. Called the server again. This time one of the owners came, apologized and offered a zero bill. I said, I'll think about it, she went and came back with a pizza coupon, and said until you think about. So far it was not a pleasant experience, but it was civilized. We expressed our surprise to have hair in both plates at the same time. Few minutes later, both owners cam back from the kitchen holding in a napkin the long piece of hair with the piece of fluff and said, it looks like the fluff is from my wife's sweater. We were both shocked by who these two Restaurant Owners are suggesting the fluff came from my wife's sweater, and implying it was not their issue. We got upset and we said this will be reported to Health Canada to investigate. They pulled from the table the untouched envelope / coupon. We were asked to leave the premises, to which I replied I would with no return as soon as I get the owner's contact info for reporting the incident. This incident was reported to Health Canada and immediately, an Officer from Health Canada was on his way to investigate. read more
