This review is only with respect to catering. Gotta say Boston Market has the easiest catering order system out there-- and I have used a lot of caterers. They have a central ordering center. They archive all of your orders which makes future orders for the same place easy. You can earn points that can be applied to future purchases. Finally, they're always on-time at set-up, layout is appealing, and top it off with a thank you card handwritten by the store manager showing his/her appreciation for the business. Simple. Easy. I hadn't had Boston Market in easily ten years, despite this location being less than two miles from home. I just don't think about it, and probably wouldn't have if it had not been for T-Mobile offering a $5 promo code. I'm a sucker for a deal! I almost was going to continue the streak of not having Boston Market for another ten years because the code wasn't working, though thankfully the manager found a way to make it work. My food was pretty decent; the mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the cornbread was excellent, sweet but not to the point of being dessert. My meatloaf was pretty decent. Not the best I've ever had, but quite tasty and offered a decent portion. Really the low score is in the service. There was no organization inside the store, despite defined places for online orders, letting me know that I shouldn't bother going that route for my next order. The server waived me up to the counter and then ignored me, and the whole ordering process took significantly longer than it should have. With the competition for your dining dollar in this town, there's no reason to go here again anytime soon, unfortunately. read more

Ordered a 3 piece meatloaf with Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. Also ordered a crispy chicken with white gravy with the same sides. Meatloaf was dry with a brownie texture. The crispy chicken tasted like I just put a piece of cardboard in my mouth. Ordered a pot pie and it smelled like a wet towel and was bland. Disgusting place. Order to three piece meatloaf mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Meatloaf was cold creamed spinach didn't taste like creamed spinach. Yes, it is not gourmet. But it's good food very fast. Plus, if you're trying to eat gluten free, you are going to have a very easy time here. Enjoy the rotisserie chicken, the turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, loaded mashed potatoes, and even gravy (poultry gravy only though - not the beef gravy). Lately, they've added a bit of table service too to the place which makes it feel even friendlier. I ate here two times in one week because it was close to where I was staying. Had meatloaf, green beans and greens. It is good healthy food better than the fast food options. Had a coupon on my receipt came back had a meatloaf sandwish and turkey sandwich. I did not know they would put all that mayo on the turkey and sauce on the meatloaf sandwich. The tomatoes on sandwich were poor. You would think they could buy better tomatoes locally in the summer time. It was a bit of time to get through the line even with 1 person in front of me. I have no issues with most of their food. I love their Market Bowls and I think their mashed potatoes are phenomenal. But the Milwaukee, Port Washington Road location apparently doesn't want anyone to know their open. Last Spring when they did reopen after the virus started, they put a horizontal banner in the front, along the road saying "We're Open". But it was unreadable 6" off the ground, behind the bushes, and sagging for months and no one ever fixed it. When they changed their hours, they had a tiny sign on the front door that you couldn't read unless you got out of you car and walked up to it. Now, they don't have their logo sign on the front lit, the OPEN sign in the window isn't lit, and from the road the interior looks totally dark. But they're open! Jeeesh. Talk about making customers work to figure out if you're open or not. Another gripe . . . three times in the past 2 months I've told someone there that their signs aren't lit and it never changes. Today, I told the woman checking me out and she mumbled something behind her mask. Someone has to tell these low-talker employees that THEY HAVE TO SPEAK UP WHEN THEY'RE WEARING MASKS. In what could the biggest waste of online ordering and the management of app usage I made the mistake of ordering online and paying online in the hopes of actually picking up my order within 5 min of the pickup time. First don't bother with the app/online ordering if these idiots could spell online ordering then they might actually be able to read the order. In which I waited... 25 mins came and no one came to advise me the food was done. Tried the fresh batch and it was over cooked as well.... at this point I didn't want any more food. Stopped in at 8pm to pick up a late dinner and they were out of almost all their sides including cornbread. 15 min wait to get cornbread and not even an apology. We were so pleasantly surprised to not only find Boston Market open on Thanksgiving, but focused solely on providing a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for their customers. Bravo! Our mother is in the hospital this year, so we were looking for something that was open. Boston Market completely exceeded our expectations. It really sucks that I had to give this location a star when it didn't deserve even that. Me and my fiancé have been to every Boston market expect this one, today we went to the one by bayshore and I literally had to make sure I was in Boston market! The customer service was horrible!! The staff was rushing the customers, giving them attuitudes, and just rude!! The only good employee was the manager but I felt bad that the staff over powered him. They were also training a new girl and I'm pretty sure their bad attitude rubbed off on her. My Easter lunch totally ruined. I catered a 4-6 person turkey HEAT AND SERVE meal. Paid 73.19 only to come home to a RAW turkey. This is probably the fifth time from you and a total of at least a dozen times of GrubHub not showing up with my food at all ordered so many hours late that it is rock hard in the cold. I am literally across the street at La Quinta. For the love of God how hard can that be? If I wasn't sick I would have walked 50 feet but it's below zero!
