Have a Bosch water heater & specifically called here due to the certification with Bosch products. Repair was estimated and at end of 1st repair, another issue needing repair was found and to be completed at another visit. I trusted their knowledge & put at least $1200 into repairing as I was told it should last long time. 2 years later I'm having to replace water heater and never should have put money into repairing old one. Customer service and transparency of cost is also lacking. Would not recommend this company & very disappointed with waste of money. read more

Called Neil out on a thursday before New Years for a leaking Gas line outside- as a plus he did have his diggers there the next day and he showed up twice for about 15 minutes. The job was quoted for $3750 plus $300. for Dallas overtime inspection. When the bill was presented, it was $445.00 . No communication of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He should have known that Dallas requires the home to be pressure tested and claimed he had top wait in line for a permit- unfortunately all other contractors know that and figures that into the estimate. They would also estimate the $ amount on the estimate if the house needed to be pressure tested (which he did not). This man was abusive and arrogant and I would stay away from him and his company. read more

Bostech is the BEST. They fixed my HVAC as quickly as they could and didn't overcharge. Not sure how to explain this..... but my unit was so old and a drain pipe?? In the HVAC closet was installed weird, so he redid the drain pipe to make it function better. (Wow... I hope that made sense). Also I live alone.... now don't laugh...and I'm uncomfortable with men who give off weird vibes but I was very comfortable with the technicians and installers. read more

I have used Bostech Services on several occasions for our company and have found they go over and beyond to make a happy customer. They are also doing conference calls and follow up calls on my particular situation I am have with the City of Dallas Water Department. These guys are a bunch of crooks and deserve to be shut down. I called them to put some freon in our upstairs A/C unit (our house in Dallas). Apart from the guy showing up outside of the promised window, he was not able to reach the 2nd floor A/C unit because he didn't have a ladder (!), even though when I set up the appointment, I clearly told them we had a unit upstairs. The repairman said he needed a tall ladder, which he didn't carry in the truck with him, and would have to come back for another call. He then insisted to be paid for the service call IN CASH, even though he was not able to fulfill the primary service he was hired for. My wife protested, and spoke to his boss at the office, who was ignorant. rude and aggressive. He told her she has to pay for the call (and insisted that it be in cash) because his guy already came out, and that another service call would be charged even higher for the long ladder! He also threatened that he'd put a lien on the house if she refused to pay. In short, we've found this establishment to be difficult to work with, and lacking in service quality and even worse, lacking in integrity. They are clearly incompetent (they didn't notify their field people to bring the right equipment) and borderline abusive. You're better off going elsewhere...anywhere else. read more

I'm sorry to hear that others have had a rough time with Bostech. I can't rate them high enough! We've been with them for many years! We have had Ron come to our house twice a year for A/C and heat maintenance and I will be sorry when he retires. The other day I needed help with washing machine repair and from the time I called Bostech and the time my machine was repaired was only 3 hours! It was amazing! Chris came out to my house within an hour of calling. He diagnosed the problem, went to get the part and returned to repair the machine in a very timely fashion. Thank you, Bostech! read more

Scheduling was quick and they came at my convenience, I was advised who the tech was that would be coming, he listened very attentively to all my concerns before starting work, and the work was done quickly and cleaned up afterwards. First, let me say that this company was contracted by my home warranty company, Nations, so I had no choice. I was very scared about the service we would get after reading online reviews here and elsewhere. Our experience has been anything but negative ! They have communicated with us very well, always came out in the agreed timeframe and have worked late to fix various issues. We have a very old unit and it has alot of issues - not their fault. They have explained the issues, what needs to be ordered and appear very knowledgeable. I have been very happy with their services and when our home warranty runs out in a few months I will continue to use them. For the last year I have been using Bostech for my A/C needs. They have been fantastic. I have two rather old A/C units in my town house, and they have had several unrelated problems since I moved in (clogged drain lines, Freon leaks, exploded run caps, thermostat problems). Most recently it was discovered that the evaporator on the upstairs unit was leaking Freon everywhere. Travis was able to come out and replace the evaporator the same day I called. He spent essentially the entire day at my house and charged me exactly what was quoted. I had a different problem with that same unit's compressor not coming on, and Travis figured out that the Nest thermostat was not sending the low voltage signal up to the unit. I was able to get a new Nest directly from the manufacturer free of charge thanks to Travis's clever thinking and correct diagnosis. He also used a jumper to bypass the thermostat while I was waiting on the new Nest so I could stay cool upstairs. I have not had any problems since then with that unit, and it's been a couple months of summer-time temperatures! It's very easy to get a human on the phone when I call Bostech, and I definitely plan to stick with these guys for any future issues that arise. Highly recommend Travis - he's super knowledgeable and a good guy! read more

Steer Clear...unfortunately home warranty sent them....installed new compressor...told me it would need more Freon just call when it gets hot. Called......nope go through insurance......a week later I got more Freon. WITHIN 3 hours the unit quit working and NOONE could come until after hours.....a master switch blew out.....maybe it was because the unit hadn't shut off since the compressor was put it as it could not cool............total shit show. NOT only was I charged 150 after hours call but 150 for the part. Left several messages for owner that went unanswered!! read more
