I strongly recommend avoiding Team Enoch for HVAC work…read more They attract customers with lower installation pricing and a parts-and-labor warranty that requires you to continue using them and complete two AC tune-ups per year through their company. On paper, that sounds like a great deal. In reality, the service after the installation has been extremely disappointing. My experience has been that they seem far better equipped to sell and install HVAC systems than they are to support customers afterward. Trying to get someone on the phone is incredibly frustrating. I am routinely sent to an answering service, and getting a callback is inconsistent at best. Even the required tune-ups have been a problem. Appointments have been scheduled, canceled, changed, and rescheduled repeatedly. That is especially unacceptable when those tune-ups are tied to maintaining the warranty they use as a selling point. The biggest issue is that once the installation is complete, the level of customer service drops dramatically. Communication is poor, scheduling is unreliable, and the overall support has been far below what I would expect from a company that wants to maintain a long-term relationship with its customers. A low installation price is not a good value if you have to fight just to get basic service afterward. If I had to make the decision again, I would absolutely pay more upfront to a different HVAC company with a stronger service department and better customer support. Saving money on the installation was not worth the frustration that followed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Team Enoch.

Non-code work and hidden costs caught up to us 5 years later…read more Five years ago, we hired Team Enoch for an HVAC installation, and we are now paying a massive financial price for their horrible workmanship. The issues started right at installation when they left gaping holes in our drywall. They refused to fix them, claiming drywall repair wasn't included in the installation price--something they conveniently failed to mention upfront. We were forced to patch and fix the damage ourselves. Now, five years later, the real damage has surfaced. We just had to completely overhaul our home's ductwork because Team Enoch installed it entirely out of code. Because the ductwork was choked and improperly sized, our AC compressor was severely overworked for years and has now completely burned out. What seemed like a shortcut back then was actually a ticking financial time bomb. If you use this company, hire a third-party inspector to check their work immediately, or prepare to pay thousands to fix their mistakes down the road. Extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism, transparency, and code adherence.

While I was out of town, my wife called this company about a small leak around the base of our…read moretoilet. They came out, but instead of simply diagnosing and addressing the issue, they had her wait while they spent roughly 45 minutes sitting in their van putting together three "proposals." The options started at about $1,000, with a second option around $2,000 and a top-tier option around $3,000. As I recall, the $3,000 proposal included replacing the toilet, while the first two were various levels of "repair." That seems like an awful lot of money for what turned out to be a bad wax ring damaged during a flooring install. I have since removed the toilet myself, replaced the wax ring, and everything is fine. No major repair was needed and certainly no $1,000-$3,000 solution. No wonder their address is on "profit dr." If this company isn't private equity-owned, they're sure doing a good impression of the private-equity playbook: upsell aggressively, present multiple expensive options, and turn a simple repair into a major sales opportunity. What a rip-off. Get a second opinion before agreeing to anything. Buyer beware.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

Unfortunately the price is quite high $583 dollars and tried to sell me a membership to reduce the price of maintenance cleaning and then sold me a recommended item with capacitor which was another $560 dollars, but told him no to do the minimum as it might be a gimmick piece. The price was the only complaint I had. After Jose was done in 30 minutes, I paid through check. Anyways next time I know to change the capacitor within 5 years after watching youtube videos.
