My wife was looking for frameless glasses. Our optician stopped carrying them. Large selection to choose from. Onsite lab. Perfect

Nothing but good experiences here, surprised to see the negative reviews. I found everyone here friendly and helpful.

I get my prescription from BJs and go and order a year supply of contacts and expensive designer glasses. Immediately when I get my glasses I notice My vision is so blurry, i get headaches I've never gotten before, I can't see to drive and I keep tripping. Long story short, I went to an a reputable eye doctor bc I was so worried that something was wrong with my eyes. He did an exam and compared my prescription with BJs and it is completely off, the astigmatism correction is incorrect, the lens strength and curvature was completely off, not even close. Now I had to order new lenses for my glasses and a year supply of totally new contacts. It ended up costing me twice the cost . I'm so disappointed I trusted BJs optical and now I'm out OVER a grand between these eye doctor visits, contact fittings, glasses , contacts etc. I just feel others should know this too, and I think it should be looked into.

I do not believe you need a membership to use there services for Optical. Eye exam was thorough and efficient. Overall took standard time 30min to an hour . Doctor and technician are on zoom call and able to operate machinery effortlessly and effectively. Speakers and microphones are fully capable to utilize and facilitate seamless communication on zoom. Would recommend. At my appointment was 74.99 just for eye exam single vision (it was the same last year as well). They call you to confirm and for pricing before you go. Exam is made online and very easy to do. You do obtain paper prescription and ability to have them emailed for convenience. When I came into the office the first time got no acknowledgment at all was standing in front of receptionist for easily 30 seconds before looking up from her phone. I waited 3wks for glasses after being told would be ready in 1wk. When I called was told yes they are here you can come get them. Got the text that they were ready 2min after I called. Went to pick up glasses not at closing time mind you again no greeting from anyone in front of office. When receptionist looked up from phone once again it took her 3 times to get my date of birth because their personal radio was so loud. then she through my new glasses on counter said here you go that's it. No Good bye have a nice night nothing. Now I've worn glasses for 45 years and never picked up glasses without seeing someone and trying them on. How do they know they fit? I would not recommend going here till they change their front office staff. Its just common curtesy to say Hello and Goodbye.

There's an upstairs with a coffee table, a bean bag chair and two chairs (and lots of artists wares for sale on the wall). There are a few tables outside, so waiting until it's warm enough or ordering To-Go would be my suggestion. I shared pictures of the beautiful breakfast plates we received. The food was delicious! The sausage I asked for in my Eggs Benny was delicious! They were clearly homemade sausage that had a nice rosemary flavor. My husband's breakfast star was the chef made ham steak slices, and the rosemary sourdough toast. Yes, I recommend the food here! We were rather disappointed by the temperament of the person we assumed is the owner... when asked if they would please lower the music a little, because I'm healing from a traumatic brain injury (and it was blasting commercials and music; it wasn't a pleasant music track or album), said with an attitude "Sorry I can't control where the speakers are", and from that point seemed a lot less friendly. Her attitude didn't ruin the taste of the food, but this was a special outing (my first in 3 years since falling on black ice), near Goodspeed Opera House. This is a touristy area and people that run breakfast/brunch spots are usually friendly and eager to help with small requests. Often interactions with the restaurant staff adds greatly to the experience. Her sour grapes and refusal to help me feel comfortable by lowering it a smidge (I was already wearing noise cancelling ear buds, just so you understand how loud it was and that she didn't turn it down even a tiny bit), made breakfast less nice. We won't be returning ~ there are so many restaurants struggling to survive after Covid, we'd rather spend our time and money there.

I came across Flowers of Distinction and knew immediately that this was the place. I loved the natural, whimsical vibe. Not being from the area, I couldn't tell how close they really were to the delivery location so I called and spoke to a lovely woman named Robin. I told her I was looking for something spectacular and I was particularly drawn to her work. I selected a stunning arrangement called Blushing Angelique, which was $300, but requested no lilies because the recipient had a cat (and wanted to keep it that way.) But when I gave her the address, we realized it was way outside their jurisdiction. I was crushed because the arrangement was everything I'd hoped for. She asked how I'd found them and who they were for so I told her how a friend had been struggling with health issues after a spinal chord injury and then long Covid, so a bunch of friends wanted her to know she was loved. She said she was actually also a spiritual healer and felt drawn to do this arrangement and make a special exception. I could not believe it! I told her I'd make it worth her while and thanked her profusely. She sent a photo of the final product and it was stunning! She also told me that she had poured all her best wishes and healing energy into the arrangement for my friend. I was incredibly touched. She let me know when she was on the way to delivered it and again when it had been delivered. I told her to please charge an extra $50 for all her extra trouble and the extra distance she had to travel. I have not had the pleasure of interacting with a kinder, more helpful person in customer service since I can recall. I wish we had a Flowers of Distinction near me. I'm including a link to a TikTok that was posted by my friend's fiancé because the photo does not quite do the arrangement justice and the video highlights it better. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8FEnD7t/

Yes,…read moreit can be a quirky visit -- some of the stock can vary pretty wildly from week to week -- so you can't be certain that what you bought a few weeks ago is still around. But there are a lot of items you can reasonably depend on finding whenever you arrive, and we have to say that overall the quality of the items is high. (And when it isn't, we've found management is cheerfully quick to supply an apology and a swap or refund.) But speaking of management: This store has had some darned good ones. And one of the very best has just returned: Paul. He is smart, store savvy, wonderfully outgoing with customers and from what we hear a favorite with employees because he is genuinely caring. And helping him now is Tyrone, who is another top-flight manager. Together they make a great team and ensure that customers always feel they matter. I had an appointment scheduled, and when they called to confirm, they mentioned it was a "virtual appointment in the office." Wait, what? Only one doctor does in-person appointments? Why on earth is that the case? That feels so strange for a practice that should be providing direct eye care, especially when the need for an in-person evaluation can vary so much. When I arrived at the office, they told me they were running a little bit behind, I had another appointment to get to, so I asked how behind & she said 30 minutes. Fine, I get it, things happen. But I waited over an hour for my virtual appointment. No one bothered to reach out ahead of time to let me know the delay, and that just feels incredibly unprofessional. If I were late for my appointment, I'm pretty sure I'd get rescheduled or not seen at all, so why is it acceptable for them to be this behind with no communication? The whole experience raises so many questions. Why is the in-person option so limited? Only one doctor doing in-person appointments? That doesn't seem like great eye care, especially when the purpose of these visits should be to ensure patients are getting personalized attention. I expect more transparency and respect for my time as a patient. Really disappointing overall. When I spoke to the virtual Dr, everything seemed rush, we had a miscommunication about the type of lenses I wanted and I just felt defeated leaving the exam room. I even asked if it was possible to try a different option and was told I'd be charged for that fitting, you're already fitting me, what do you mean? When I checked out, the woman checking me out (Mary I believe was her name) was shocked I was still there since my appointment was 2 hours prior to she apologized and was so super helpful to me. I told her I wasn't comfortable placing an order at this time. But if I decide to do so, I will speak with her directly.
