I had an appointment with Dr. Todd for new contacts due to a problem with my current prescription…read morethrough my previous doctor, so I arrived at the appointment wearing glasses. Dr. Todd is the caricature of a doctor who will talk down to you and tell you what you have to have regardless of what you are telling her you want and need. I know better than she, that cataract surgery is in my near future, but she felt it was her duty to lecture me non-stop on how I need to stop driving and that I am a danger on the road, forgetting that she was testing my eyes without my glasses. Wearing contacts or glasses I see very well and have no problem driving. At one point Dr. Todd even said to me, "If you were my mother, I wouldn't let you drive". All i could think was, goodness help me if she were my daughter. It wasn't until the next day, when I went online to order my contacts that I found she actually wrote a prescription for glasses! Again, doing what she wants, not what I want. NEVER GOING BACK!

I would have chosen 0 stars if that was an option. I was a patient for several years of Dr. Todd…read more In the fall of 2023 I experienced some flashes in my eye sight and made an appointment to be seen. They charges me a copay of $161 even though I told them that my copay is $15. Then they added a test with one of the machines that I would have had to pay for out of pocket - when I declined they told me that the already processed the insurance for it - I told them they better cancel it. Fast forward to May of this year - I had some blurriness in one eye and felt it warranted an exam - they refused to fit me even though I described the symptoms. Fortunately Dr. Salem at new insight was able to get me in immediately and diagnosed with me a retinal detachment for which I needed immediate emergency surgery. I would NEVER go back to MYEYEDR.

I wish someone had warned me about the amount of time a regular eye exam takes in this office…read more Three (3) hours. I sit and wait and hear patients asking the front desk personnel about the three hour appointment and they are told "each appointment takes three hours." Those of us seeing the doctor (once the assembly line techs are done with us) on our lunch break cannot afford to stay for three hours. Actual time with the MD is about 15 minutes. So that is a lot of waiting and patients guess we are being double, if not triple booked. I have seen patients fall asleep in the waiting room. Do not be talked into their highly overpriced eyeglass collection! Just another money maker for the corporation. You are better off getting your prescription filled elsewhere. There will be a sales pitch the first appointment though. They prefer wealthy patients so that is their preferred target pool. There is no point in mentioning the billing office but be prepared for them to be inept and you the victim of their ineptitude. Never have I witnessed so much lying in one place before. No one told me, so I am hoping my taking this time will give someone else a chance to reconsider this very, very corporate type office.

Called office, was told twice that the doctor would call at the end of the day when he finished seeing patients. Fortunately, called my primary care physician who picked up my call immediately z
