The doctor looked at my eyes for all of 30 seconds, gave me a trial of drop (which after finishing the dosage I learned was actually expired) and asked me to come back for a follow up in two weeks. The follow up consisted of yet another 30 second look into my eyes and a "yep, looks better" from the doctor. They then proceeded to code the visit as a MEDICAL visit and charge my medical insurance $85. At no point was I ever notified that there would be any charges billed outside of the eye exam NOR was I told that they would be submitted against my regular insurance rather than my vision plan. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

When we arrived, we were told they no longer accept our insurance. This was extremely frustrating because they previously did accept our insurance, and no one contacted us ahead of time to cancel or notify us of the change. We left work early and took our son out of school early for this appointment, only to be turned away at the door. That level of inconvenience could have easily been avoided with a simple phone call. This felt unprofessional and showed a lack of respect for patients' time. Insurance changes happen, but communication is the responsibility of the office.
