They did cancel the order but they kept my $345.00. DO NOT BUY/ORDER ANYTHING FROM DX!!!!!!!!!! ********************************************* After contacting DX earlier today they advised that they were cancelling the order and issuing a chargeback. Will finally give them credit for this. Just wish they had agreed to do this before. Just don't like thinking I have been taken advantage of after spending more than $3500 over the past couple months there. I ordered a OptiBeam HF Directional Antennas OB11-3HD and 125 feet of DXE-213URC125 with Amphenol 83-1SP Ends on morning of July 6th 2026. The ship date for both were July 7th. The antenna arrived July 10th as scheduled. On the morning of the 9th the coax had not shipped so I did an on-line request to cancel that order because the same thing was available locally at HRO. Within a few minutes of requesting the cancellation I received a call and was told the item was going to be shipped that morning and they would upgrade it to overnight delivery. The order said that my credit card would not be charged until the order was shipped. I checked on the 9th and the charge had already been completed. Today is the 11th and the item has still not shipped. If they had been truthful and told me the actual estimated ship date when I ordered the item and on the 9th when they called I would not be writing this review. I am going to request another cancellation and request a chargeback. I have purchased other items from the company and did not have any major issues. Either way, if they allow the cancelation and chargeback or they force me to accept the product no matter what the ship date, I will never do business with DX Engineering again and I will advise others not to so. All they had to do was be truthful/honest but they chose not to do so. Avoid doing business with this company.

You know that sinking feeling? You switch on the laptop and... Nothing. No whirring hard drive,…read moreno fan, no porn chat pop-ups. Yeah, that's not good. Unless. You head on over to the great guys at WGA. (I had to list this under "Shopping" and then under "Computers;" I guess Yelp folk never need computer repairs? Is that why there's no "Computer Repair?") I was seriously considering dumping Old Lights-Out Sticky Keys and buying something new. I don't like to toss things that might still have value, so I took it in to WGA. They showed me their "menu pricing" brochure, and I was astounded. For around one-fifth what I was going to spend on a NEW laptop they: * Bench tested the beast * Did a diagnostic scan and removed a bunch of crud * Provided AND installed a NEW larger, faster, more handsome hard drive * Copied over ALL my files * Cleaned six years of filth and schmoogg from the innards. And the outards. * Got me back on the road in about 18 hours, start to finish. I sure wish more people offered such great service; the landfills of the planet would be less full, our collective pockets and purses would be more full, and Dean and Norm at WGA would be even busier than they already are. Thanks for some superb service. They do a whole bunch of other things, too, but repair is all I've experienced so far. (They have three different levels of pricing, too: cheapest is you bring it there, drop it off. Next, they'll come out to YOU, do the proper shut-down, all that, take it in for the repairs and bring it back to your casa for full restoration to service. Third: They'll come over, sit there for however long it takes, look out the window during the hours-long scans. I'd pick door number one, Bob.)

Emailing and calling MMC they suggested a swap of video cards, but that didn't work and it took another month for me to ship my card in before they would ship one back to me. So I had to send the whole computer back to them which cost $320.00 for UPS to package it and $1000 worth of insurance. Turns out a CPU chip was bad and they replaced it. Warranty covered all parts and labor BUT NOT shipping costs TO them. When I complained about this they said I should have asked for a shipping label from them. Never was anything suggested about a shipping label nor about insurance. And I only discovered what was actually wrong by emailing the tech support. No paperwork came with the returned computer. I have bought a PC from MMC before and never had this kind of problem or need to ship back. They are very unhelpful when it comes to the details of trying to fix something.
