A great place for TV repairs. Dropped off my 32" Insignia TV at 11:30 this morning. Friendly…read moreservice, he held the door for me when I arrived with the TV in my arms. The video would go out periodically, but the audio was still there. The picture would return if I knocked on the front of the unit, but it was happening more often. There's a $30 diagnostic fee up front, which I understand. Said he would call me this afternoon. They called around 4:00 PM the same day to tell me it was fixed. I guess I had expected an estimate, but I also knew it was probably a minor repair. The total was $63, minus the $30 diagnostic fee. The TV works just like new! I had been afraid I might have to buy a new TV, but they fixed mine in a matter of hours. I might have been frustrated if the repair price had been higher without my authorization, but in my case, I was pleased with the outcome. A new TV would probably be at LEAST three times that price, and mine fits on our bookshelf perfectly, and the new ones are shaped differently. I've had other TV's repaired here in the past, so this is usually my first stop before I buy a new TV. He also sells used/refurbished TV's, DVD players, stereos, etc...

When I was a kid, my parents had a streak of 3-4 phones they got at Radio Shack, all of them with problems. Because of this, and other problems with quality and customer service, they encouraged me to never shop at Radio Shack. Well, after 25 years, I regretfully tried Radio Shack again. I was looking for a phone line for my DSL/Internet. I told the clerk I wanted the best quality possible, even if he directed me elsewhere. He assured me I was looking at the best. I bought 50' and 100' because I was not sure which I needed and figured I could return the one I didn't use. Well, a month after I put the 50' in, the ISP guy said the line was crap, and ripped it out and put the his good stuff in. Then, when I tried to return the 100' foot line, the store I bought it from was going out of business and not accepting any returns. Then, other Radio Shacks said they could not accept returns from a store that was going out of business. I'm not surprised that it is going out of business, and expect many others to follow suit soon. I should have listened to my parents. Oh yea, my wife found the $18 line for $8 on the Internet, so she is not so happy either. Go to Radio Shack for overpriced, low-quality junk if you want to, or take my parents advice.

It sells computers , PC parts, printers, televisions, cameras, cell phones, and many other home electronics. My husband has fond memories of Micro Center from when we lived in a different state, and where we currently live in Pittsburgh, we have no Micro Center. Therefore, he drove to this store in Cleveland to shop. He purchased an Alienware gaming monitor, a monitor arm, a Seagate hard drive, a mouse, and a screwdriver set. He said that the store had a sale so the prices were reasonable. He has used these products for about two weeks now, and he feels happy with their quality.
